my chopped a2 looks awesome, i removed it from the barrel and clamped it into a vise. chopped it all up then smoothed it out with a stone bit. finished it up with some aluminum black. looks just like the ones you buy.
@fatboyR6 So how did the YHM gas block hold up? I would get one but from what I hear you need a barrel thats dimpled where the set screws go? I don't even know if that is true or not...
Very nice. I was wondering is that a permed gas block? With a punch set you could take that off in less than 3 mins. Im getting a low profile block next week. A yankee hill low profile. Ive got a A2 post. I like it but I love having a clear view through my optic. The A2 has to go!!!
I shaved my FSB came out great an finished it up with some cold blue looks good now
