@TFReviews1 Man, Halo 3 was and still is my favorite game of all time, and it has freaking faded out and been replaced (CoD, Reach, etc). That's the definition of discouraging.

And the online has been practically ditched! You can DoubleXPWeekend any time during the week now (???) and it's ALWAYS 7 on the 7th. Whatever happened to Living Dead? I played it on Reach, but it's not the same.

halo reach doesnt have dual wieldig took out alot of guns which is ok but took out cool gernades halo reach should have allowed you to play as a brute or grunt shoulld 've kept the brute choppeer allow to have fall damage as a alternative gameplay and should allow you to play firefight in forge world i still think halo reach is a fun game with a great story but needs to be more like halo 3

Halo 3 in its time was the best game to play on a console. And it held that roll for a couple years, even in call of duties up bringing, it was still great. Now that the style of games has switched a bit comparatively it obviously wont get the same praise like is used to. Halo Reach is a great game probably the best Halo out there but the gaming world changed a bit, and ppl can thank COD MW2 lol atleast for fps

I thought the campaign was awesome, I loved it, I loved all the levels, I loved some more than others, but they were all awesome, I think this game should've gotten a 10/10.

I would give this game a 9.0 because I actually don't find the multiplayer fun. Matchmaking is always paring me up with retards, so I can't make friends to play on forge or something. The campaign was okay, except for the listed arguments.

I have played Halo Reach Beta, though and it was actually a lot better than Halo 3.

this was the first halo game i ever played. the game got me into the series and it still holds a special place in my gaming career. the story was intense and epic. and although i openly talk about how much i hate the cortana mission, i am so enveloped into the story, of fighting my way through alien zombie after alien zombie to save my closeest friend and save the universe, that i am still willing to play through it. i also like to say that that mission is THE hardest level i have ever played.

its a great challenge and is one one of the creepiest levels i have ever had the "privilege" of experiencing in a videogame. so, overall i love this game and am just overwhelmed by the epic final chapter of the Halo Trilogy. its my favorite game of the franchise so far, until Reach. the multiplayer was good to, by the way...

@gsf422 Halo 3 is a huge package of great social fun. There's Campaign, Matchmaking, all sorts of crazy Custom Games, Forge to make your own Maps, Theater for Film Clips and Screenshots, File Shares to show others your custom made stuff and of course you can create your own Spartan or Elite by changing the armor, colors and creating emblems. It's also currently the best game for making machinimas.

Tell me, what game (besides Halo: Reach) can beat that?

@gsf422 "Best" isn't the same as "the hardest and most complicated". Halo 3 Forge is easy for making places for filming and explosions. There's many different kinds of weapons, ways to make different looking Spartans and aliens. Then there's theater for filming and Bungie Pro Video Rendering if you don't have a capture card. And when Halo: Reach comes out you can make your big battle scenes in Firefight with your own customized options.

And why it doesn't sell much is cause it's for Xbox only.

the story was boring eccept for the level crowsnest- the floodgate. the thing about halo 3 is it revolves around the flood and not the convant. unlike halo 1 or 2 i could replay the story 4 or 5 times on legendary and still enjoy the story. in halo 3 i just wanted for the story to end. The multi player is awesome and i love the infection. its a good game aside from the story

I wouldn't say "GET a 360 for Halo 3", but when i did get my Xbox 360 it come with it for FREE, I haven't played it though and am going to start VERY SOON.
