@snakeeyes679 Dude, Jeff didn't do that on purpose. In a situation like that, Jeff was able to get to the gas faster than Matt, and he was just too close to the 17. If he did it on purpose, he would've run him over a LOT faster, and that could've done some bad damage to the 24. Matt had that coming though.
@packersfan42 Well, Matt might not have slowed down, but Jeff was able to get to the gas quicker than Matt, and Jeff just had nowhere else to go. If you notice, Mears didn't get to the throttle too quickly either. Matt was trying to protect the inside, and got hit doing so.
I think a way to make nascar more fun is when a guy wrecks someone as obvious as Gordon did Kenseth, line Kenseth back up right behind Gordon on the restart.
@coldv1 Jeff Gordon had a WAY faster car than Kenseth that day. Jeff should've been the winner, but I'll even admit that that finish wasn't the way I wanted to see Jeff win. Although, Matt did already wreck Jeff earlier in the year, so he had that coming.
The old cars bumpers did not match up gordon got under his bumper and lifted him off. Could not have been any closer but he never made contact. Just loosened him up! Thats why they got rid of these cars because of the aero loose package!
