  • Class act! You just can't help but like and admire him.

  • @officeaddict33 - I absolutely agree - first class. My heart broke for him, when I saw the deep disappointment on his face when he didn't get the gold. Although, an American I was very proud of Brian Boitano, but Brian Orser's artistry was mesmerizing that night, too.

  • Amazing Skater~

  • Well, I'm sorry but I don't find him very honest here. What about doubling on the second triple axel, that was key! Not the mistake on the triple flip, that could be disregarded by the judge. A triple axel is worth much more than a triple flip.

It's plain and simple. He produced two clean triple axels at the following worlds and he won.

I really don't get how it was so close at OG with the monster programe Boitano skated.

  • He may not have won a gold medal as a skater, but it's looking like he might be coaching a gold medalist. Congrats, Brian.

  • Well he has indeed coached a gold medal skater. Congratulations to Brian!
