It is great to see the performance of this boat as I am currently building the 14' version "Skylark". I was trying to decide between the Gunter and the lug rig and you have sold me on the lug. It moves along beautifully!! I too am using clear Huon planking over Celerytop keel and ribs with King Billy CB case, hog, thwarts etc. I have used Jarah for the stem, deadwood and floor timbers and will finish her with a grated sole possibly in Myrtle Beach. She will be sold for a tad over 20K (I hope...)
What a little doll of a boat...the traditional riggning pretty as a picture...and you actually get to sit IN the boat and not ON it, as with so many modern things....sweet. :-)

I wa wondering if the traditional way of attaching the mainsheet to the end of the boom would have held it down better in the gusts. Lovely boat.
