  • they could create a new version of this song like they play in that final part! it would be awesome

    sorry for my english :D

  • that final part was awesome.

  • 5 pessoas ja deu o cu

  • jonnys improv skills are crazy

  • Very nice bootleg !

  • as a musician myself, i just don't even understand how these guys can be so amazing. No music from anyone hits me like radiohead. My brain can barely comprehend what genius they have.

  • @Imyourzero90 I totally second that! the best live concert i have seen was these guys. The ones that always make me swoon are these guys. i never get tired of Thom or Radiohead.

  • @2380connell I third that, I'm 15 and after listening to quite a lot of music I always seem to end up listening to either radiohead, Thom, or Phil. I just can't get bored of them, best band ever!

  • I know its lame and pathetic to mention but Thom's hair is so sexy.

  • Amazing.enough said

  • Colin always seems to have an amazed/incredulous look on his face, as if he just can't believe how awesome the sounds are that he and his band are creating all the time.

  • @TheFlipanator That's so funny, I always thought that as well. The most joyous bass player ever.

  • They truly are untouchable, when these guys die they'll be making music for heaven.

  • Oh man the end bit DAMN

  • this is really great footage

  • I think part of what makes Radiohead a great band to see live is because frequently each member seems to take on a certain emotionin their performances.

Thom is like sorrow and perhaps angst.

Jonny is like anger and frustration.

Ed is like calmness and nonchalance.

Colin is like shyness and the distancing of one's self.

Phil is like seriousness and down-to-business.

That's just the way I see it in some of their performances.

  • @TKOblue that's beautiful man

  • @jiffinbigles: Why thank you.

  • this song was called 'subtle' before. It didnt occur to me until now that subtle is such an inappropriate for this song, so wonderful and all the details are beautiful.

  • a great song final.......

  • I get off watching Jonny play drums and I am fucking proud of it. Oh yeah, and at 4:06 I just die happily.

  • Is there an audio download of this show anywhere?!

  • Best two hours in my life. I swear if Radiohead would make concert regulary every week, I would buy tickets for every single one of them!

  • @koalajones88 yeah, I could only bring up the crowd noise in certain spots as it effected the overall sound of the mix. It's just the way the crowd was recorded, since it wasn't intended for video at the time.

  • best there there there ever was

  • @hamsterdam92 i think so too, that part @ 4:05 is like a nuke of sound!

  • It was certainly not a mistake...whether it was planned or not you'd have to ask the band. Either way it is an inspired moment, underlinling the "lonely" text playing his guitar and singing...alone. It works...

  • Johnny Greenwood wins. full stop

  • That ending is so beautiful

  • my only wish in the world is for radiohead to have a concert in my country.

  • The Crowd Is fucking terrble

  • @flamebot4475 do you seriously think that? I thought the crowd were pretty good!

  • THAT WAS FUCKING PERFECT

  • FUCKING GREAT FINISH, got goosepumps ...

  • heý_I_fèEl_s0_lôñÈlÿ_tÓdAy

  • love the way jonny is a normal guy, then he plays this song and all the instruments merge into him and he all becomes one instrument god

  • look at my version of There There

Search: Radiohead - There There - Synchronized with Wizard of Oz (HD)

  • Jonny Greenwood is my god.

  • O.o??? what happened with the "why so green and lonely?"!!!!! anyway very very good perform hehehehe Radiohead will always sound epic even if Thom forgets the lyrics or maybe it was planned... we love Radiohead just as it is ;)

  • def was planned, bc look at the lighting

  • Whether it was intentional or not, it was handled SO perfectly. I'd take it by the grin that it was a bit of a goof, but leave it to Thom to turn even a goof into something even more stunning than it would have been, had they played it normally. Pure magic.

  • I love how Thom just starts singing again unexpectedly and the other guys just rock with it. And then at the end how Thom turns around and you just see this big grin on his face.

  • Brilliant

  • i would reckon that the ending was planned, because of the lighting effects...a spotlight was put on thom a bit before he even started his solo segment at the end

  • Jonny is a fuckin legend

  • perfect show in perfect Prague :)

  • It seemed like a deliberate tribute to the other members, to children, or a personal something. Also I think it was a deliberate exposure of those lyrics in a sensitive quiet way and to add interest to the set.

  • @4:05..do you guys feel something????

  • I doubt it was a mistake, there was an obvious pause when everyone stopped playing. He just decided to continue, which made a beautiful ending.

  • Jonny's on fire!!!

  • @chopperdave13

he did not changed his shirt..he was wearing the same t-shirt next few days at Leeds Fest, Aug 29th 2009

  • 0:17 - 0:23 Hail to the Jonny!

  • Yeah that mistake wasn't even that big of a deal...this performance is awesome.

  • Even the greatest band in the world sometimes make mistakes! Nice save at the end, though.

  • FUCK

    I want Jonny's talent.

  • Poor Ed.

Thom messed up on the first "Why so green/lonely" part and he quietly follows along :(

  • @CaptainPengu Umm... Are you watching the same video? Ed didn't pick up a guitar the whole time... Thom was the one playing the guitar at the end and beginning.

  • so funky and vintage yet so modern and innovative! brillant

  • This must have taken like a thousand Flip Mino HDs.

  • That bass is mad cause Colin is stylin on it

  • It's meant to be music. if your listening/watching for precision, check ping pong out it's amazing. Or Take it for what it is and don't worry wether it's a mistake with a classy reaction or whatever, that's why i love Radiohead, because there unpredictable live and always pull it off to the highest degree possible.

  • @paperdiasychain Hats down.

  • wow this is amazing!

  • what a fantastic concert. and a fantastic band.

  • I got goosebumps when he did that at the end.

  • i love these guys for the way they are having sex with their music..

  • Maybe he's mad, maybe he isn't. We don't know and why does it matter?

  • i don't think its a mistake. also, i certainly don't think anyone is "pissed", how in the world could you be anything but excited playing on that stage, with these guys, with that gear, in front of that crowd!

  • Spontaneous or planned, in mho, it is the sign of a great band that these little variations and reprises can be thrown in in a live performance. It only adds to the artistry. Some of the best footage I've seen of this anthem.

  • Don't ask me why but every time I look at this song live, and it kicks in like at 4:06 in this video, I get so emotional, it moves me every time.

  • Damn, I'm wearing the exact same Hoodie as Jonny does in this vid, right now... now I feel like a hipster...

  • Comment removed

  • its the way he looks down and too the left - totally pissed.

  • It seems like the band is upset with him with that little adhoc bit at the end. I can tell the bass player is totally pissed...

  • @jebstertolston colin isn't pissed, how could he? he's radiohead's biggest fanboy!

  • @jebstertolston

    no way he's pissed

  • @TheLordHodne look at his eyes. totally pissed.

  • @jebstertolston he wasn't pissed...

  • @jebstertolston How is a guy with huge smile and bouncing his head to be beat pissed?

  • It's no mistake. In some other recordings from the 2009 tour, they perform the end of this song almost exactly the same.

  • i dun care if it was a mistake or not... its still brilliant!! somehow i think live would be better to have this ending.. gives that part of the song that acoustic feel which i feel is extremely touching!

    radiohead forever!!

  • 5:22 lovely singing

  • yo fui a praga a ver a radiohead!! desde españa!!!

Me gusto un monton praga y sobre todo tengo el buen recuerdo de esto!!

    Gracias por subirlo.

  • legends

  • I used to play with these guys.

  • Beautiful mistake in my opinion. Just look at Colin Greenwood grinning at the end :)

  • I want to see them in concert more than any other band. Thanks so much for putting this on youtube!

  • 5:58 Colins like hell yeah this is awesome

  • sensory overload, amazing

  • lol its like being there epic D:

  • awesome love this song!!!!!!!!!!! :D getting ready for the new album WOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • I think at 3:46 instead of going to the rock out part Thom start another pass. Then at 3:58 Thom gives the universal singer signal that the change is coming by waving the guitar headstock up and down.

  • Ed's unsure look at 3:44 was hilarious indeed. Also that and maybe a couple other things give away that Thom had forgotten the lyrics or skipped them or whatever and that it was not "planned." Maybe Thom had done that at a previous performance like someone pointed out but he probably also sang "We are accidents waiting to happen" 4 times like he did here. Thom's ending was great, though. :D

  • Damn amazing! Kudos to the people who filmed this.

  • come on... there's no way that was a mistake.

  • good job guys, really good quality!

  • even with the "fuck up", this is probably the best rendition of the song ive heard next to glastenbury 2003.

  • johnny is sooo fucking sick

  • love the song, one of my favorites and the fact that the film was captured by fans.

  • THe ending is flat out disgusting. i love you.

  • @Blubellfield with an emphasis on the "fucking"

  • put your apple down

  • Jonny is my fucking God

  • jonny starts playing at the end with thom. colin is smiling big

  • LOVE the extended outro

  • Does anyone know if that ending was planned or did Thom just do it because he forgot the "Why so green and lonely" bit from the studio version. The others look pretty surprised when he kept singing, turned out pretty damn good though.

  • i think it was a mistake with a classy reaction....

  • @guccilitlepiggy They did the same thing at Reading last year, so think it was intended.

  • @guccilitlepiggy Your comment could be a line from the song.

  • @okstereohead im pretty sure he knew what he was doing. considering hes played this song night after night for years

  • @okstereohead he forgot the words..but it still turned out nice b/c they're brilliant :)

  • @okstereohead I was at that amazing concert and I think Thom felt like he "owed" the crowd the "why so green" part... He ended up liking the quiet soft excerpt so much he started doing it in other concerts even when he got the words right...

  • @liadsman I don't think he felt like he owed anybody anything. The song just wasn't the song without it.

  • @okstereohead dude if i´m fucking surprised, i dont imagine about the guys... just look at Colin´s face!!!!! i mean, the way that thom sings "why yo sou green and lonely, heaven send you to me" its just beautiful, sounds sweet...

  • @okstereohead I'm pretty sure he knew what he was doing there, to be honest! :)

  • I was there.. that's the only thing that matters.. I saw LIVE one of the best bands of all times...

  • Damn, would give everything to be there again.

  • epic & glorious
