If u consider it murder to abort a embryo or fetus, then why not consider these murder; menstruation(waste/death of ovum), masturbation(waste/death of sperm), eating anything that once was alive (animal and plants are alive).

The two creation stories contradict each in the order of creation.
The jewish explaination that I have heard was that pluralizing of God's name is a way of showing his infinite. And The Christian explaination I heard was that the pluralization was the Trinity. some believe that one of the stories don't belong at all. And another explaination was that if you included the Lillith story that the two creation stories go together better.

If Gen2 is an overview of gen1 then why is gen2 longer, and includes things not mentioned in gen1. I am looking these things up, and I have heard this before but there is no way that gen 2 is just an overview of gen1. The problem with your argument is that the second creation story has eve created last; after man, plants,animals, and eden. In the first one- Adam and eve/Mankind male and female are both created after plants and animals.

Where as Genesis is written out more like a timeline. And they contradict each other. How does Adam, plants, animals, eve not contradict; plants, animals, humans?

Where does God say that Jesus died so that we could sin? Scripture teaches just the opposite and calls that doctrine deception.

@Idontlikedogs1010 So you're absolutely right. There are people who kill their babies and call themselves Christians. Now, just for the record, some women really do have to get abortions. There are legitimate reasons for them and that has always been. That is not a new thing. Doctors have always recognized when there was a decision between the life of the baby or the mother. But to use murder to even the proverbial fornicating playing field is not something a real Christian..

I am a woman and have been criticized by CERTAIN men on more than one occasion for "teaching" and being a woman. But in essence, if you look at Scripture, that is not the points that Paul was making. His silence statements about women had to do with assemblies, not in general. Paul was not a legalist.

Most men like to dominate their women all through history. Some "Christian" men love to have mealy mouse silent wives who cook and clean. But that was never God's heart on the matter or the message. There are other Scriptures that say women can speak as an oracle of God in church.

@NuLaifMusic Whether we are talking about the natural world or the spiritual one, I find very few people are willing to look objectively at the facts and observe the entire picture. When money gets involved in either or those two venues, perspective goes out the window. People refuse to self correct because to do so would mean to admit they're wrong and lose respect or lose lots of money. So deception continues onward.....

@NuLaifMusic Yeah, I would have a very hard time believing in the authenticity of something like that. Was it carbon dated? Remember the Shroud of Turin? I don't believe people wrote in "books" either at that time. They were written in scrolls. Most likely Mary was illiterate as well. It is highly unlikely that she could write anything. Plus there is something else deceptive about this video. In the upper right hand corner is a logo "Discovery World."

There were other writers that followed the disciples and they wrote things as well. Nothing of their writing indicates that Mary was a leader.

I could also say that in my day, I had children, went to school and was married. That is a perfectly acceptable communication combining every significant event. The Bible is designed to be read by many age groups, eras of time and advancements, cultures, and genders. This is one thing that sets it apart from other writings. Anyone can read it.

Actually rotten fruit doesn't mean rotten tree. Rotten fruit can be caused by a variety of things. The fruit can rot without the tree even being a bad tree. Example The apple tree in my yard goes through a cycle like any other- budding->flowering->fruit->fruit rotting->fruit falls and decomposes (The only way to avaoid the fruit rotting is by eating it. )

Hitler didn't just claim to be a Christian, but he believed what he was doing was God's revenge. I never made the claim he was getting into hevean. According to the ugarit religion, El is a proper name for the supreme deity of the ugaritic pantheon. He is identified as the creator of "the heavens and the earth", the father of 70 gods as well as the father of man.
Elohim is plural. Not singular as advocated by translators of the bible. Elohim refers to El's pantheon of gods, his council.
And Yahweh? He was one of the 70 sons of El.

I am not confusing Islam w/ xtianity. YHWH was originally the name of a thunder God. El(a creator God) and Elohim(translated as gods or the powerful ones) are in both the Bible and the Ugarit Religion. And it would not demonstrate the Bible being truth but would demonstrate a connection that all these religions have.

Adam and Eve and their descendants would have known those stories and passed them on to their children who would have passed them on to theirs etc. Moses got the real story face to face from God on Mt. @AleXYXX1961 We are made of the same building blocks but we do not produce the same proteins and junk DNA is no longer junk. If it has a function, it has a design. The theory of common ancestry is true if you are talking about a variety of dogs or people groups. But no proof has been demonstrated in terms of common ancestory between humans and other primates. The theory is assumed to be true and forced on the evidence when a Bibilical model works equally well if not better.

Back when the OT was written each tribe and village had its own God or gods, and they would kill each other to try to prove that their God was more powerful. Baal, El, YHWH, etc... And the OT violence would support this. They all sacrificed both animals and humans to these Gods, and held rituals. El was not the same god as YHWH.

The two creation stories contradict each in the order of creation.
The jewish explaination that I have heard was that pluralizing of God's name is a way of showing his infinite. And The Christian explaination I heard was that the pluralization was the Trinity. some believe that one of the stories don't belong at all. And another explaination was that if you included the Lillith story that the two creation stories go together better.

Day #1 What is the significance of this event? Was it not to produce day and night? Is that day and night around the universe? If so, how does that work on Jupiter? This doesn't work unless the beginning is just as it says.

If Gen2 is an overview of gen1 then why is gen2 longer, and includes things not mentioned in gen1. I am looking these things up, and I have heard this before but there is no way that gen 2 is just an overview of gen1. The problem with your argument is that the second creation story has eve created last; after man, plants,animals, and eden. In the first one- Adam and eve/Mankind male and female are both created after plants and animals.

And what part of Psalm 104 talks about the creation of eve. Genesis 2 is written out like a story. God creates Adam, and then plants. And then he realizes adam needs a suitable helper, so he creates the animals and has adam name each of them, Adam was unable to find a suitable helper so god takes adams rib and creates eve. Where as Genesis is written out more like a timeline. And they contradict each other. How does Adam, plants, animals, eve not contradict; plants, animals, humans?

@AleXYXX1961 Are you saying that you think all the plants were created on day#3? Science is simply the discovery and testing of God's creation. Those truths open our understanding of the Bible. We don't force our understanding of the text onto science. However, we can look at exits and see if these truths match and they do. God says in Psalm 104:29-31 that he kills animals and then creates new ones. So as needs changed, so did vegetation.

It also becomes the formation of the moon. And there is a closing off of this time period and the dawning of a new time period.

Day #3 Cynobacteria begins to form and there is O2 in the atmosphere.

Plus, we know from science that the debris from the solar system's creation has dissipated so that now the sun, which was already made (past tense) and the moon (past tense) can be seen.
Day #5 is my personal favorite because the waters begin bringing forth life, the land supports dinosaurs and birds and that is exactly what science tells us.

Genesis contains two creation stories and they contradict each other.
In the first one that appears in Genesis Elohim (Plural-The powerful ones) are the creators. And in the second creation story YHWH is the creator.
Scholars believe that the first creation story is actually younger. The author of the Elohim story is believed to be written by the author that scholars call "P", and the YHWH story is believed to be written by the author who scholars call "J",

These descriptions would help you comprehend Him. He revealed Himself to you, but you let the enemy take that and use it to judge God.

I dont want you to think Im one of the atheists that has strong belief in everything science. b/c I don't. I do agree with science, but not on everything. So far what I see is the world being one big confusing mess with every one claiming they have the truth, yet everyone's truth(about origins of the universe, what it all means, etc..) is unproven and differs from the others in some way. There is the possibly that we may never be able to actually understand where we come from or why.
