@pkerry12 my parents both had iphones until they got tired of them and switched to android, and I know several other people who have them as well, I also was offered one for free back when the 3g came out, and I said forget that pos and got a good phone. I have used several, including one that my gf found and I jailbroke it and put cydia on it, it was still garbage compared to my G2 so we sold it on ebay.

Get real loser, the ipad glitches in this video too, and im sure if you played on both long enough neither is perfect, but the asus is a hell of a lot better working and looking and has 2x+ the power.

The insanity of not having 3G/4G available for the Prime's release will be it's undoing in my opinion.I don't own a tablet, and if the Prime had the 3G I would buy one right now. Because it doesn't, I'm going to see how the new iPad stacks up when released. For me, a tablet without 3G is pointless; it makes a toy out of a tool.

@vexx506 the asus is supposed to be the best tablet since it has the better hardware but watching this video you can see otherwise. all the special graphics shouldn't be a problem since it has all around better hardware but it still bogs down. That is a HUGE FAIL.
For a tablet, I find the water effects on the Prime mind blowing. Both tablets show good gameplay and sweet graphics, although it looks slightly blurred on the iPad 2. I also see the Prime is a bit brighter, my guess is that the Tegra3 chip in the Prime allows the game to implement a better light render-engine.
@HAWXLEADER Even though Android has Flash support, it's not really stable and drains the battery rather quickly (I know because I own an Android device).
I don't own an iPad, but Apple "knows" what's best for their users because they want to combine great user experience with good battery life. I've seen Flash fail many times on the MBP of a classmate, I can reason they don't want that happening on their tablet. Besides, pretty much all major sites are switching to HTML5, which looks promising.

android handles flash smoothly in my device(defy) and the content is IN THE PAGE realtime unlike the ios yt...
html 5 is ubber shit right now it barely works on a high end pc! it is not responsive as flash and clashes with google chrome extensions (quickscrolling makes it unpressable)

@schaapjeskijken the only reason apple blocks flash is because they don't want the ios users playing flash games that compete with the app store, and because they know their devices don't have the specs to handle it without becoming sluggish and users would complain. So rather than improve technology, they sever features they can't handle.

Secondly, if Apple decides to allow Flash, users can play games outside of the Appstore. 1) Apple can't regulate what's going on on the device and 2) The App-store is a source of income for Apple, they are going to miss a lot of purchases, as they get 30% per paid-app. It's always about money in the end...

@oOJakkeOo When you compare Android tablets priced the same as their iOS equivalents the Android devices are mostly better performing and smooth to use. ICS is already on tablets. ICS is also on phones, sure it's mainly only on premium devices but it's there for the most part. I have a $200 Viewsonic ViewPad 10s and that's running Honeycomb with ICS coming in a couple of days. Sure, that's all custom rom stuff but I get a premium experience on a budget device because I know how.
Apple is barely holding on to their market share for two reasons: Their extensive app ecosystem that is never or rarely hacked, and the simplicity of use. Of course this comes with a trade-off, you can't modify the OS or anything, but would apple fanboys care? I don't think so, because the aforementioned reasons are the only reasons they buy the iPad. It's desinged for apps, and apps only.
Is Shadowgun optimized for the Tegra 3? They should try a video with a game designed for the Tegra 3 on the Asus, just to properly show all the specs off. Perhaps Riptide (Is it on the iPad?).
When I played the demo on my Transformer Prime, it was absolutely stunning.

@duncanl2 no offence but the iPad 2 has a .7 mega pixle rear camera that preforms like crap under low light conditions and has a washed-out color compared to most other Android tablets. :)

@sourDeez2 WOAH HOLY SHIT, your right, the asus stopped for nearly a milisecond while it was loading twice the effects of the ipad on a much higher resolution display, guess ill just have to forget about that and go get an ipad that will be slower and less convenient on 98% of the other tasks. Get real loser, the ipad glitches in this video too, and im sure if you played on both long enough neither is perfect, but the asus is a hell of a lot better working and looking and has 2x+ the power.

The insanity of not having 3G/4G available for the Prime's release will be it's undoing in my opinion.I don't own a tablet, and if the Prime had the 3G I would buy one right now. Because it doesn't, I'm going to see how the new iPad stacks up when released. For me, a tablet without 3G is pointless; it makes a toy out of a tool.

For a tablet, I find the water effects on the Prime mind blowing. Both tablets show good gameplay and sweet graphics, although it looks slightly blurred on the iPad 2. I also see the Prime is a bit brighter, my guess is that the Tegra3 chip in the Prime allows the game to implement a better light render-engine.

@HAWXLEADER Even though Android has Flash support, it's not really stable and drains the battery rather quickly (I know because I own an Android device).
I don't own an iPad, but Apple "knows" what's best for their users because they want to combine great user experience with good battery life. I've seen Flash fail many times on the MBP of a classmate, I can reason they don't want that happening on their tablet. Besides, pretty much all major sites are switching to HTML5, which looks promising.

android handles flash smoothly in my device(defy) and the content is IN THE PAGE realtime unlike the ios yt...
html 5 is ubber shit right now it barely works on a high end pc! it is not responsive as flash and clashes with google chrome extensions (quickscrolling makes it unpressable)

@schaapjeskijken the only reason apple blocks flash is because they don't want the ios users playing flash games that compete with the app store, and because they know their devices don't have the specs to handle it without becoming sluggish and users would complain. So rather than improve technology, they sever features they can't handle.
Just like at apples foxconn factories, rather than improve conditions, they install nets to catch all the employee suicide jumpers.

@vexx506 Your argument does not make sense at all.... The newer devices are more then powerful enough to run Flash, it's adobe's part of not making it run sluggish.
Secondly, if Apple decides to allow Flash, users can play games outside of the Appstore. 1) Apple can't regulate what's going on on the device and 2) The App-store is a source of income for Apple, they are going to miss a lot of purchases, as they get 30% per paid-app. It's always about money in the end...

@oOJakkeOo When you compare Android tablets priced the same as their iOS equivalents the Android devices are mostly better performing and smooth to use. ICS is already on tablets. ICS is also on phones, sure it's mainly only on premium devices but it's there for the most part. I have a $200 Viewsonic ViewPad 10s and that's running Honeycomb with ICS coming in a couple of days. Sure, that's all custom rom stuff but I get a premium experience on a budget device because I know how.

Apple is barely holding on to their market share for two reasons: Their extensive app ecosystem that is never or rarely hacked, and the simplicity of use. Of course this comes with a trade-off, you can't modify the OS or anything, but would apple fanboys care? I don't think so, because the aforementioned reasons are the only reasons they buy the iPad. It's desinged for apps, and apps only.
