If you ever come across an old album called "Sounds of Sebring" (I think), this may be the car that was recorded there. Anyway, that AC Bristol was about the loudest car on the album. Love it. And, yes, when Bristol stopped making engines for AC, Shelby dropped a 260 ci Ford V8 in it and the AC Cobra was born.
i met a guy with a "COBRA"...i have a healey. anyway i mentioned the bristol, and to my knowledge(that is were the "COBRA" came from). it was funny because he said i was dead wrong....but those guy with cobras are out there.

That's a hill climb. The chap is real interesting but let's get him and that car on a real hill climb like Mt. Equinox!
