Is Ford developing a trailer to pull behind an EV version of the C-Max as a range extender? I saw a spy video of the C-Max pulling a trailer that looked like it could be full of batteries. My guess is that the trailer could add at least 300+ miles to the range of an electric vehicle and be rented for long trips by Ford dealerships.

They're both built on the same platform just like the Mazda 3 & Focus. But they're put together in different factories & the biggest factor is they have different engines/drivetrains. Mazda is considered one of the best quality & reliable makes around, but you'll pay more for that.
Mazda makes shitty powertrains they are very unreliable only slightly better than Mitsubishi and they were better than American but thats changing too.
The only exception was the miata they lasted nearly as well as Nissan,Honda, and Toyota 4cyls

Most advances that comes standard ten years from now are in the ultra expensive luxury and supercars of today. For them to put research and effort into going green is an indication they are trying to find the best of performance and efficiency. Past super cars weren't pussy magnets because they got 4 mpg, they where because the G force it generates rips their panties off. Now if a green super car can perform the same but use less energy, only the geeks and dorks would know the difference.
The Esprit from the mid-90s had performance of 8- and 10-cylinder cars with only 4cylinders. And it could still get 30 mpg when driven regular
The Elise and Exige, same thing. And now they even have Toyota engines for reliability, and they can go fast and get good mpg. It's basis for the Tesla
The Europa, not sold here, uses the same Ecotec as DerekD's GXP and probably gets the same mileage.

c] What I also haven't addressed yet is how the marketplace will deal with the team. No sponsors will want them.

um you don't speak for the US. you're 1 out of billions of people in the US. i for one, watch F1 every time its on. i have friends who watch it also. i know LOTS of other people around the nation who love watching F1.
just because YOU don't like F1, doesn't mean every other American dislikes it.

BMW seems DEFINITELY up for it. Interested to see what becomes of this Green car plan. I've heard of the 2 before, so I'd throw out the Welcome mat for this spunky small car. That's BIG news for Fisker; a monetary blessing. The IS-F is a much lovelier car than any Cadillac, but hell... why not give the IS-F a little 200+ more horsepower? Hennessey could give even a Prius 300+ horsepower! I LOVE Trans-Am, and I LOVE that new Camaro race car. Great Shakedown and lovely show!

im so sick or green supercars ugh u dont drive a supercar because its green u drive it because its fun and a thrill, the thought of a green supercar makes me want to throw up. theres not alot of supercars as there is reg gas guzzlers so it cant make that big of a impact so whats the deal?

Most advances that comes standard ten years from now are in the ultra expensive luxury and supercars of today. For them to put research and effort into going green is an indication they are trying to find the best of performance and efficiency. Past super cars weren't pussy magnets because they got 4 mpg, they where because the G force it generates rips their panties off. Now if a green super car can perform the same but use less energy, only the geeks and dorks would know the difference.

Um, Lotus has been doing this for YEARS
The Esprit from the mid-90s had performance of 8- and 10-cylinder cars with only 4cylinders. And it could still get 30 mpg when driven regular
The Elise and Exige, same thing. And now they even have Toyota engines for reliability, and they can go fast and get good mpg. It's basis for the Tesla
The Europa, not sold here, uses the same Ecotec as DerekD's GXP and probably gets the same mileage.

I dont think its my computer, I have been watching FLD since the beginning on my computer and many other computers and never had it happen till recently. And I had seen other people post comments on FLD's website about the same thing. Maybe they started doing something differently and I should use a different browser I dont know but it always worked for me before on this computer and i have not changed anything. Who are you to respond to that anyway? fuck off dueche.
