YOOOOOOOOOO i had this game it was good, i almost beat it, as I m watching I m like I hope he beats it . I could never beat it got far but lost . I love this freakin game.
For the most part I only play 95% RTS, and occasionally RPG (Dungeon Siege,Diablo) on new systems. I don't care 4 new action/fighting type games. I LOVE retro-gaming/emulation & have practically every console & PC system made B4 1990. Yea, the graphics were cheesy, but only by comparison & the games left at least something to the imagination. There is something to be said for a game like pacman, to be so popular, STILL, when some new games 3D graphics and all, can't hold your attention.
I know what you mean - the games back then had to play well because they couldn't look great. New games are more like demonstrations of graphical ability & less of actual usability. :(
Let me tell you, running like that in real life, trying to throw a ball like those black enemies in the game, punching and kicking like chuck norris is VERY HARD! also, sliding back like Chuck Norris every time you get hit is also very weird and awkward in real life -_-
I had Colecovision, when I was a kid, and this was one of the many games I owned, for it. Now, that I'm seeing this again, for some reason, it just seems SO funny and cheesy!! LMFAO!
Just be glad you're not a kid now, this is the era of "dumb." Our video games may have been cheesy 4-bit, 1 hour or less-to-beat, corny bells and whistles sound games, but we were smarter back then. All these kids are like freakin zombies playing with controlers that have 9 buttons but they only have 5 fingers on either hand, you go figure. I'm sure it's fun, but it's too involving, kids take these games too seriously, their academics are suffering because of this.
Wow, I never noticed that... I grew up on the ZX Spectrum & due to the poor colour on the machine graphics would typically be outlines & transparent: the skin colour would change to suit the background... Not unusual for a main character to be a chameleon! I guess I just grew up not expecting any real-world representation from an 8-bit machine. :D
Am I the only one who thinks the music should be playing "The Eyes of a Ranger" or does anyone agree with me about this? LOL
