Yeah it is definitely grainy. My goal with that adapter was just to learn about them a bit more and how to build one for cheap.
That was built for less than ten bucks including lens.
A six dollar lens from the Goodwill, duct tape, aerosol deodorant lid and some wax paper for a focusing screen.
