Wonderful job! I love how you converted the crowd (from what I could tell, based on the audio). This presentation was well-thought out and delivered with conviction. Love it :)
"closed loop of rhythm" Brilliant, Kent. I really enjoyed this and feel like it touches beautifully on so many important aspects of hoopdance. Great job. I favorited this.
This is awesome, Kent! It's so funny to listen to the crowd's reaction, I love watching people who have never seen hooping before discover that there's this whole movement out there. :)
Sweet Kent! Love it...this is now the second (that I know of) presentation on hula hooping for ignite. I gave one of hula hooping and branding last April at Ignite Boulder. :) Infiltrate! Great job!
Nice presentation. You have a good rapport with the audience and the visuals are well-organized. ...but, I guess it's a tribute to the power of the southern Californian cultural machine to have stolen the modern history of hoop dancing from the people of Colorado , washington and oregon- all of whom had hoop dancers long before Anna, hoopnotica and Christabel.
Thanks! And yeah, I realized that there were some gaps / missing links in my quick hoopdance history recap after reading your website.
There was an NPR report titled "Hula Hooping Gets Groovy Again" that did some digging into The String Cheese Incident, but failed to trace it back to any definitive source.
I also only had 5 min/20 slides & had to cut out a lot & said something different every time. I had meant to say Anah was "one of the first" rather than THE first.
Excellent work Kent! Your videos are the BEST EVAH :)

Spectacular! Not only did you tell them. You showed them. That's some integrity right there. Do it! Hoop on brother, hoop on.

Oh nice! Yeah, I had no idea that you had done one as well. As far I knew, I was the first, but apparently not. :)
Yes, please dig up that video, I'd love to see your 5-minute take on hooping. :)
