The tutorial doesn't explain how you keep the air in a pocket on the side of your mouth. If its not your tongue then the air escapes. Do you try to talk through the air pocket? How big of an air pocket? Are you talking normally or are you talking with air (are vocals involved basically)? Could you draw a picture of what you think is happening in your mouth? Any rough sketch will do.

I could only ever make his rant sound until after trying it with air pockets and it has definitely made me more capable in achieving my goal of talking like Donald. I think the positioning of the tongue can actually limit the words that you can say to be honest.

Hey man, great impression. Out of all the people I've heard/seen in life and on youtube, you definitely have the best Donald voice. Not only is the voice terrific, but the characters personality and emotion is there too. If there was ever a way, you NEED to meet Tony Anselmo to start training to become the next Donald duck apprentice, like Tony was to Clarence Nash for many years. i hope you will respond to my comment, but i see some people saying that you blow from the throat into the cheek then use that air to make the sound out of your mouth, then someone said that you blow the air from you cheek backward into your throat i guess to make the sound. i can get the tingling behind my teeth with a good amount of blowing, but no actual sounds yet.

thats actually right. I talk like donald duck also and have been doing it since i was four years old. You do have an air pocket in your mouth, mine tends to be on the right side, dont know why thats just where it is. I taught quite a few people to talk like this and i always start them on the word , "Hello". It just seems to be an easy word to say because even if you screw it up you can still tell thats what you are saying.
