It's the same main principle like the 3x3x3, isn't it??

Sort of. The thing about 4x4x4 cubes and bigger is that they have permutable centre pieces and more edges, than a 3x3x3. The approach I took here was to group all the matching centres together, then group all the matching edges together. Then I was left with a pseudo-3x3x3 cube (with the exception of two parity cases). This approach is called reduction and is commonly used to solve "big cubes".

I can solve a 3X3 and 2X2, that is not very impressive I know but the only reason ppl don't bother doing more is because when it comes down to it, you just need to memorize different algorithms. its really not that cool, and to be perfectly honest...it is boring as shit. the only cool thing about it is being able to do a typical 3x3 if someone ever has one to impress someone, but that only happens like once a year. let me know when someone asks you to solve a 20x20
