Ah, the good old days, when you could insult a woman right to her face. I'll bet women are naturally better as actors, but the explanation he comes up with! Her body language speaks volumes. If anybody wants to know what women had to put up with just a few decades ago, here's a good example, two supposedly intelligent men discussing how a gift is really just vanity right in front of a great actress.

what a jerk! Wild Strawberries is one of my favorite films...but he was a man of his time -- hence self-absorbed and abuser of women. And his depressive films were suffocating.
