@sk8erSakura retry looking now, as all 3 are subbed and on many anime sites and around for download. they are worth watching, even if most people are put off by the third season it is indeed still worth the watch. :)
You're both missing the meaning of "evil". Once she's related to Hell, she's bound to be evil in whatever way she is (for evil has infinite faces). Yes, she sends bad people where they belong, but at what cost? All the people who wish for someone to be sent to Hell before they had a chance to be judged by who we all know judges everyone when they die, all of them are doomed to spend their afterlife in Hell as well. For that fact, Enma Ai is evil, even though what she does is noble and right.
@Leandine EH! Oh my shit, kill me..... i never knew that. (well i didnt know she was evil.... i felt sorry for her and i thought being hell girl was the only way to save her family and...well.... i just thought she was.... not good... just, i dont know. complicated)

She burned her village, but that was because they buried her and her parents alive. I don't think she really wants to send people to Hell, especially if they're innocent, good people and she still has to take them to Hell because someone summoned her. I'm just saying that it isn't even her fault.
@angelpunch0 Haven't watched the show? She doesn't send innocent people to hell even if she is summoned to. If she sees they're innocent, she sends the summoner and the mark of evil goes to the innocent who was supposed to be sent to hell. Hence the "she's the good kind of evil" remarks I keep holding on to. ^_^
actually in one of the episodes in the first seasons, she was forced to send that innocent nurse to hell just because that random guy was being psycho and the girl hadn't done anything wrong (=
Watch closely cause every action can draw upon itself an opposite one, who tends to have the opposite effect. Helping someone might cause someone else to get hurt (methaphoricaly speaking. See when she gives a fly or butterfly to a spider. Perfect example. She helps the spider, but she also help the death of the fly. What she was thinking int hat very moment makes her to be either evil, or kind.

You can only find the other seasons dubbed on anime sites. Animeseason has the third season and I downloaded the second season off a torrent site. I haven't watched them yet, though.
@Leandine She's not evil. If you follow the stories closely, she's more like.. forced to do what she does. In fact, she's probably the most innocent character in the whole series.
I don't really think Ai is entirely evil. She was just forced to do it. I even feel pity for her. Don't blame her for everything.

She only does this to protect her loved from going to Hell. She never wanted this. But she was given a chance to be somewhat alive, but for a price.
Enma Ai, she is an innocent girl forced to do something she never asked for.

You can only find the other seasons dubbed on anime sites. Animeseason has the third season and I downloaded the second season off a torrent site. I haven't watched them yet, though.

Evil doesn't mean she can't be nice.. ;p Evil is the oposite of good, nice.. is just an adjective that can describe whatever you think is nice.
She is nice.. she is pretty..and she is devilish (in a nice way :D ).. all the things we love about her :D
