how long should i be drinking green tea? ive been drinking it for about a week straight about 4 cups a day, but i also had some junk food mixxed in there (i know i hate that i did that) and i got 2 little pimples on my chin again, so if i keep drinking green tea, and lots of water will it clear my face up as long as i dont eat any junk? i think soy is my trigger food because doritos have soy in them and i get breakouts every time i eat em :[
@Legoman0323 I don't recommend doritos or soy, and keep the green tea & water up... and eat healthier overall too. Lot's of fruits & vegetables, fermented vegetables like sauerkraut and kimchi etc.
@acneerasingsecrets kay thanx, and any word on the 3 day apple diet thing? i tried it and i swear it was working, but i couldn't keep up on it, my appetite drove me to eat taco bell x[ but u think if i just eat these whole grain cherios and mandarin oranges (what ive been eating today) and green tea that i could get results by next saturday?
@Legoman0323 Read the secret acne cleanse! it's similar to the 3 day apple diet which is good but I think the secret acne cleanse is better because it gives you more options... also, the acne erasing secrets system is a diet & skincare routine to help you get clear skin.
@AmirsDilema I'm not too familiar with that brand but look at the ingredients of it and if it's organic & natural then it should be pretty good... You can also look up some reviews online.
@featclover Fish oil is great, cod liver oil is great... Anything with Omega fats is good (for the most part) Things like olive oil, coconut oil, chia seeds, omega fat supplements etc... Omega fats help keep your skin, hair and nails healthy! it also helps with your brain! MSM is another "beauty supplement" that helps with hair, skin & nails... made a video about that! So the answer is yes! Sorry for all the rambling! LOL... I just like to share more to help as much as I can!
@acneerasingsecrets ohyes, I actually watched that video & the thing you said about bottled water.. I have to try change that since I drink from a 1.5 litre 'plastic' bottle everyday & also a cup of green tea. My acne is mild so I'm just on my way to clearing it since I'm still a teen. Np :)
@acneerasingsecrets Thankyou!! Cause I just started taking fish oil and my nails are actually stronger and not cracking as much as they used to. my hair is becoming more shiny and I look more healthier, I also think it's helping me with weight loss. but yeah, I will take your advice into consideration bc it's working! I feel so much happier.
@featclover Wohoooo! Good for you rockstar! Drink more water too and that will help... The video I made called "Drinking water to clear skin" will help explain that. If you add MSM too the mix too you will see a difference in skin, hair and nails! Thanks for the reply :)
I have seen you caffeine video in reference to is effect on acne. The tea that is recommended in the info on the video is caffeinated. Is that okay, or would you recommend decaffeinated green tea?
@DivaOstrichWDW I think decaffeinated is better, that's just my take... The more organic & pure/natural the tea the better. Use stevia as a sweetener instead of sugar or artificial sweeteners too!
I just found out about green tea for acne the other day (wednesday) and have been having 2-3 cups a day.. how long does it take to make a difference usually? btw, we have the same laptop :P
@xXBrooke96Xx Very cool! honestly some people don't see a difference that quickly, some very quickly and some not at all... It depends on how long your acne has been there and if green tea helps the cause of YOUR acne... Everyone's cause is different. But within a couple weeks most people notice a difference in their skin regardless... I know when I drink green tea a few days in a row I can tell my skin looks better.
@Mush7Celtic1967 There is! Check out the video I made called "Recommended acne treatment skin care products" and I recommend several things as well as several skin care companies... that should help. Thanks for the comment.
I know you're not a nutritionist but green tea really upset my stomach and made me feel extremely dizzy and nauteous, is there any way I can drink it and avoid that?
@jellyfish4400 thanks for letting me know still, I've actually never heard this about green tea before but here's what I would recommend... first, start with less than you are currently drinking. So start with maybe a quarter or half cup of tea instead of a full cup... This will allow your body to get used to it and adjust and then as you progress you can drink more... Your body will build an immunity to it. This may just have something in it that really benefits you and your body is having a
@jellyfish4400 hard time accepting and adjusting to this at first... It should get easier over time as your body uses this to benefit your health... If you drink less quantity of it several more times and still feel the same I would just stay away from it... I've never heard of anyone being allergic to green tea but it could be possible. You should be fine though, start with less and work your way up! hope that helps! sorry I took so long to answer!
@eurocop100 That will definitely help, it's cleansing... you mine as well just do the secret acne cleanse! it's very similar but even more effective than that... Check out the facebook fan page to get it.
Good video I love green tea it does help, have you ever tried matcha powder form or genmaicha its organic green tea with brown rice? they are one of the highest grade green teas to get the other is sencha.
@eurocop100 Good for you! Some people see improvement quickly, some slowly... some none at all! too many factors that come into play that I cannot answer such a general question... sorry!
Just make sure it's organic with no sugar or artificial sweeteners added b/c that will be most beneficial.
Guys just so you know this isnt like oh if you drink this you will see clear results in 2 weeks, its not like that. Its a long, long term thing so you just have to keep on drinking.
@ChibiNinjax002 Thanks for the comment, everyone's skin is different... Some people will see results sooner than others and some may not even see results at all. I just recommend drinking it for the skin health benefits because it will help, and if you do this along with get nutrition, use natural skin care products you will see good results. Thanks for the comment!
what about adding milk to it. my mom is a tea drinker (not green tea) and she always adds milk. would adding milk to green tea ruin its health value. and what does green tea even taste like?
did you ever hear of the dr. brandt detoxifying anti-oxidant water booster?
supposed to be equivalent, i think, to 40 cups of green tea with one dropper mixed in w/some water. have been on it now for about two weeks -- though missed a day here and there -- but haven't noticed any results.
You said to drink it raw, without any artificial sweeteners or sugar, does it include honey? Because from what I know, honey is good for the skin too and I don't like the taste of raw green tea :/
@lora1992 Raw organic green tea is best, even though it doesn't taste super great... Honey is an okay sweetener, I would recommend organic stevia as a first sweetening alternative... If you do use honey get raw organic honey... b/c there is honey that has sugar added and isn't that great. So just use high quality honey that's raw & organic or preferably stevia. Thanks for the question!
I love green tea! It is a super healthy beverage. There have been many studies showing that Green Tea inhibits Anti- Collagenase and Anti-Elastase . Polyphenols present in Green Tea have been shown in many studies to inhibit Collagenase, an enzyme responsible for decaying of Collagen in the Skin (Morazzoni et al., 1995; Makimura et al., 1993). Green tea has also been shown to inhibit Elastase, the enzyme responsible fro degradation of Elastin. Great video David! :) Check your inbox.
@rgcrito Thanks for the question, My book & vids is an accumulation of knowledge that I have learned from my personal experience and through my research... it has helped many other people clear up their acne by following the advice.
@rgcrito yes It will take time but It will because his book turns your body into a state where acne can not exist however, it does take a lot of discipline to follow but You can do it cuz I did it and it isn't that bad!
@rgcrito I'm sure it would, green tea is anti-septic which aids in wound healing... so my guess is it would help with scars. The anti-oxidants in it would help heal the skin too... so i would definitely drink green tea because I could see it helping heal acne scars... or any scar/wounds on the skin.
@rgcrito im sorry i know you probably dont care about my answer but i had to let you know..i had really bad acne scarring and the thing that worked like a miracle for me was a paste made from turmeric,lemon,honey..found in your kitchen and is a LIFE SAVER(do it everyday for faster results)..also i sometimes add in loose green tea just as an extra oomph.? dunno what that means lol yh and drinking green tea helps alot i have atleast a litre a day
@afrotasticcurls I'm not familiar with that brand, Tazo is a pretty good green tea brand... also check out the description to see the other green tea I found that is all organic. The ingredients should be green tea, maybe a few other natural things but no sugar added or anything like that... The more natural/organic the better.
@afrotasticcurls Earl Grey is a black tea. So that kind of tea is good as an alternative to coffee (it has the same amount of caffeine but better health benefits like burning fat and cholesterol in your stomach :D: HOPE THIS HELPS!)
@meluhkneeann Drink it, there are green tea creams but they aren't going to work as well as getting it in your body. A green tea cream is still better than benzoyl peroxide or other harsh acne treatment products like that... But the tea is best.
@sufy1000 I drink Tazo, that's pretty natural... Also check the description! I like to an all organic green tea on amazon that is organic and natural.
