@0megaXP You just add them like you add someone walking. Position them infront of each other and save it.

How to make the character jump? Like when someone is throwing a weapon at him and the character jumps?

@AzNCuPC4kE Use the jumping picture of the character. Instead of moving him to the right or left via motion tween, move him up and then down.

when i do save image(png) from bannedstory into a map and than i try to load them at flash than it can't load it :/

just save it as a png to a folder. do the same with amap from perioncorner.

then import both to ur animation and make sure ur characters on top

You guys don't know how to do this because this is too uber pro for you guys to animate. So stop trying to figure out how to make flash animations, save that for later. Keep on working with the gay one and only BannedStory animation tools. Try pressing the Zapper Lightning button and make your own poses by pressing the resize or rotation tool and make your own character upside down or something. Wait until you're ACTUALLY ready.

when you save your character in banned use a transparent background setting and that will make a png file, that should get rid of the box.

Blank keyframe or keyframe?

Your choice, Blank keyframe makes the page all white like you are starting the frame from scrath while keyframe gives you the choice of entering a new picture of the old keyframe by inserting a new keyframe. a normal keyframe is helpful because you do not have to copy and paste stuff from previous frames.

When u first make a symbol, u right click the first frame at the top and choose insert keyframe. then two frames later click insert frame. you now have a keyframe-frame-frame set of frames. keep the picture the first walking scene. then do this again with the second and so-on.

Every keyframe starts another picture. the frames are how long the keyframe lasts. So the first frame in one picture is a keyframe.

Hey, that you need to do is : when you save the character off of banned story is to save is as a .png and make sure that transparent [] is checked off.

yeah I figured that out, I fugired that you cut out the extra part that you don't want in that picture in photoshop then copy and paste it on a transparent backround then save it as png

1 tip : a CS4 file wont be able to be open on Flash 8

Hi! Well, there are a number of things that could be wrong.

1) You did not click IMPORT> FROM FILE

2)You did not save it as a picture file

3)Your flash has a problem

4)Your bannedsstory has a problem

Go to perioncorner and go to map tiles. scroll down til you see the floor you want. Get all of the different combos of that type of floor. Save it and import to flash. Make a new symbol with all of those lined up. The do the same with the floor that you did with the sky to make it move as the character moves in place.

Hey, Well, I usually export, then i edit sound and stuff in windows movie maker... So Id suggest copying those sound files, exporting, and pasting onto your exported video on windows movie maker.

Im not sure if it is on 8, but go to file, export, then export as an avi video. once thats done, open up vegas, pinnacle studio, windows movie maker or w/e, and import the video. From her you can add sound. This is ALOT easier than adding sound to the flash 8. If you dont ahve the export avi thing, try to use a flash converter. U can download off internet. With this, yoou can convert a flash player thing into a video.

Go on google images and type somethin like sky cartoon, or fake sky.. somethin...

Look for one with clouds and paste multiple times on oyur flash so it is continuous.

That you can convert a bitmap to a symbol and visa versa. That is helpful for adding a filter.

Well, when you save your character, it should ask if you want to save a png or jpeg. Choose png. The background will be transparent.  I hope this helps =D

I am not sure exactly wat the problem is but make sure you saved it perfectly... and make sure transparent is checked off when u save it. For the files not imported, Go to the help page. Im sorry I cant help with that. Maybe send me a vid of the problem. HOPE this Helps
