i have given the idea for this mouse to Swisslogic aka "Logitech", thru some phone calls and emails,,, its not a special thing , EVERYBODY can pass ideas to the developer and processing team, they are also very interested into the linux community.
i hope you enjoy the devices as much as i do (i also have trackballs for example and using a 1084A mitsumi apple keyboard with my mandriva.linux 2010 powerpack desktop ) this device is great for gaming and work (for example GIMP, Blender aso)
