There are mistakes sure, things that don't match up. But this mans life's work it at stake, which isn't the book, its his credibility and his career which as i said if he id lying would be worthless. He never made a cent off this book either. And Thurmond saying he knows nothing of a cover-up shows nothing, a statement like that should be expected. Personally im not sure if i ever believed the Roswell stories, and this book hasn't changed that, im still unsure, its just a good read.

I have always been staunchly skeptical about the UFO question, but recently I started actually researching the evidence. The conclusion any intelligent and sane individual can come to after viewing the facts (including repeatedly corroborated evidence, often by highly decorated pilots or military officers), is that there IS something going on. Whether or not it's alien space craft is obviously a mystery - but the honest truth is even though only 5% of "UFO" cases are real, they are REAL.

Is it only 70% that is surprising. Im from Sweden and everyone I know thinks that we are not alone.

UFOs would hurt religion, But Religion hurt Religion during the founding of America, Thus the people today without blinders on, Willing to deal with the truth, Or try to. The Masses hold their bible so dear they feel as if they sin just to think about it. Most people NEED an answer to life any answer, even if it's the wrong one.

I agree, the history changing announcement that intelligent life exists will cause a massive crisis in all religions. I can imagine it, people not going to work or walking out of it, massive gatherings at churches. A sheer halt in human history.
