im getting my tc soon. i was thinking of replacing the front scion emblem to this chromeemblemsDOTCOM/product/bat-3d-c and then changing the back one to the same one or this one chromeemblemsDOTCOM/product/batman-c. thoughts anyone? change the DOTCOM obviously
I been kind of depressed because I bought a 08 Scion tC for $11,000 with 63,000 miles on it and im not sure if I got a good deal. I originally wanted an Accord but the dealer convinced me to get the Scion. I just feel like I been jerked
@isjonson ill make you feel unjerked, 11k for 63,000 miles on any toyota or honda is a good deal because you know its going to last as long as you take care of it and the accord has problems with the rear caliper, uncomfortable front seat (very uncomfotable after 30 min of driving), and the accord also has poor power compared to the tc unless you get the manual transmission. Plus the automatic accorc and civic from those years are getting recalls for shifting too fast
@loudantzlerscholar10 its reliable and stylish, i would just learn to drive a stick only because most people your age prefer it to an automatic later on
@geoldr well i liked the interior of the 2011 alot with all the alpine touch screen stereo i test drove it but im like whatever on the exterior i like the 2010 exterior i think it looks more sportish

Personally, I don't like the 2011 exterior because its too boxy. And I don't like boxy cars, I like the curves of the 2010. Besides that, the 2011 has 20 more HP, but it weighs like 100LB more so idk if there is a difference. Its whatever you like better really.

@twinx7475 I've had both. A 2006 TC and a 2011 now. The 2006 was very nice and I really liked it. The exterior of the 2011 I like better just because it looks more masculine and the front now looks like a mini Lexus IS though the dash feels cheaper. I got the new one because of the 6 speed transmission as it feels much smoother driving on the highway at 80 mph. The prev one felt like it needed this extra gear at highway speed. However, you can't go wrong on what gen of Scion TC you choose.

I love this car. The car handles like a BMW, and it's quick especially on the highway. Rushing on the highway I was weaving in traffic near 100+ mph with no problem whatsoever. TC is a beast, so piss off if you think it's a gals car.
@brothez024 well, having owned/and still own BMW's for the last 19 years (latest a 2009 330I) this 2010 Scion with the Yokohama tires handles as good at speeds up to 110 MPH on the hightway, and also at speeds of 60 MPH on the back roads handles just as proficient as any BMW that I have owned. You must understand that the Scion is closer to a Lexus than a Toyota, if that makes sense. Either way, enjoy!

I hate when people say the get a car with only 10 miles on it. every car has at least 180 miles on it before it's put in a dealer. they put each car through tests.

Im gonna do the tints soon probably, but as for lowering springs, not yet i like it the way it is, HIDS, maybe but idk im fine with the regular, a stubby antenna yeah im gonna do that, but I can't really get rid of the front plate because there are 2 ugly black holes there and im not sure how to cover that.
@geoldr it cost lke under $100 to fill in the holes depends where you go. You can either do it professionally, such as getting fiber glass put into the holes, sanded, primed and panted. or you can just buy lil plung screw, that sort of are caps that just plug in.
Congrats on the new car man. Few things you MUST do to the car - lowering springs, tint, stubby antena, HID's, tint those side blinkers, and lose the front plate.
