He was staggering an on queer street from Frazier in the 11th round in their first fight, by Henry Cooper, knocked down by Chuck Wepner in the ninth round of their fight, and knocked down by Frazier in the 15th Round of their first fight. If they had really fought Ali would have EMBARASSED Marciano. Ali was taller, faster, more accurate, and light on his feet. Marciano was slower than Frazier and used less upper body movement than Frazier. Marciano would not have been able to reach him because Ali wouldn't have let him got close and Marciano would've been getting tagged if he tried to get in on Ali or Ali would simply tie him up. Marciano was the greatest CRUISERWEIGHT of all time, but just too small to compete against Ali, Holmes or Foreman. (all three of whom could take more punishment than Joe Louis)
I would call it an even match between prime Joe and Rocky.
Rocky had the greatest will, chin and endurance of any fighter I ever saw, and is an inspiring fighter to watch.

It's a staged simulation fight. There were a few different endings, but the ending that was aired in the United States had Marciano knocking out Ali, which is what you see here. In Europe, an alternate version of the ending was chosen that had Muhammad Ali beating Marciano by having the fight stopped because of cuts he inflicted on Marciano.

Louis said he probably would have lost the fight, even in his prime. Louis was great, but Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes were better. As for more prime Ali; the Zara Foley fight is almost as good as the Williams fight. These are professional boxers - they've all got bullets, broken bones and bad habits.
