When I play Medic I never use the Blutsauger. The Health regeneration of the Medic is very nice and having to rely on hitting enemies for Health regeneration is not always the best thing to do.

Let's say you got burned by a pyro and you kill him cause he is on low HP, you have nothing to hit and die from afterburn. With the syringe gun you also kill the pyro but you have a high health regen which saves you.

Why don't you use the blut? It's pretty standard for meds, especially battle meds.

I sometimes go with regular syringe gun if I'm a lone medic/my team is keeping pests away and I can selfheal normally it seems almost a necessity for going in and taking ass and kicking names.
