"You are confused. You are confused of what you have studied and you are confused of the principles. EDSA 2 is a spirit of the people and not a move joined and caused by GMA.
EDSA 2 was neither the "spirit of the people" nor a move caused by PGMA. It was all politics. Those people who couldn't dethrone Estrada in court [not THE people] had to do it in the streets out of frustration.
Personally, I don't think any of the candidates will change our country. If I had to vote for one, I want a business tycoon leading the country. Less incentive for corruption, more experience running an organization.
I'd rather not root for a party because those tend to be really corrupt to be able to fund themselves.
I couldn't care less what those party lists are. As long as the persons comprising them have the potentials I seek in a national leader, I will elect them.
One more thing, I want people who, in case of election loss, will graciously accept defeat. That may be a bit too much to expect from our politicians, [Ateneans and all,] but I think it's important that they will not waste public funds in recounts and hearings just to attempt to change the person seated on the high throne. After which, THE SAME NATIONAL PROBLEMS STILL PERSIST.
Like I said, I couldn't care less. If we're going to be socialist in exchange for getting rid of poverty, why not? As long as the candidates are capable of leading our country though international financial turmoil, it's fine.
Violent rallies don't work, peaceful protests change nothing, armed rebellion tends to make everything worse [and too often don't work]. The best thing we can do is to spare our energy and hope for a brighter tomorrow, unless of course we ourselves plan to run for office and try to change things ourselves, getting tangled in corrupt politics along the way.
"You are confused. You are confused of what you have studied and you are confused of the principles. EDSA 2 is a spirit of the people and not a move joined and caused by GMA."
Actually, I think EDSA 2 is an attempt by frustrated politicians, who couldn't get an envelope, open to bring down a rival. I'm not saying the prof is wrong. That may be his point of view but we have to remember that those who joined EDSA 2 [including myself] comprise a small fraction of the population of Metro Manila, let alone the entire Philippines. What's more, the change EDSA 2 promised to bring to the masses was not fulfilled.
alright I'm a catholic, but seriously when will we ever get around to following the provisions in the first second article. My god, the "SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IS INVIOLABLE".
I follow my own religion, but I don't like it where it interferes with my existence as a citizen of this country.
god of atheist, are you fucking kidding me. do you even know whats the definition of god? its a being with supernatural power whilst science is a body of knowledge don't even merge both of them.
the real church is that of the believers of jesus christ that repent and put their trust in him and obey his commands. That is the body of christ, his church.
The only reason i post my comments is to alert people. Not to bash them, but when this happens don't say you weren't warned. I will warn as many as possible
And even the church is corrupt, its called falsehood and apostacy my friend. better make sure wherever you go to church that it aligns with the bible otherwise you may be decieved
The Roman Catholic Church has never lost its roots. Don't know about YOUR church, but I'm afraid we can continue this argument no longer because our faiths have different interpretations of faith and we can't settle them all here.
The church of jesus christ, is the body of all believers that obey his commands, trust him as savior, and repent. No building or denomination is it man. We could argue but im not trying to im pointing things out to you if you research you will find the answer
To SOME who don't understand English, I said, "Shut up, don't meddle in Philippine politics [remember, this is a video with a political theme]. I already told you we can't argue on faith because we have different religions. According to my RESEARCH, you're not from here so you don't have a say in the events here."
I am entitled to say whatever I want, but I am explaining. I have no religion I have a relationship with Jesus Christ the redeemer of all man kind. To those who accept what he did and repent and trust in him.
A US Citizen indeed. You have no business with this video and your first comment is completely unrelated to the topic. Your last "sentence" isn't even a sentence. "To those who accept what he did and repent and trust in him," what? Moreover, if you believe in something such as a redeemer that is not supported by scientific evidence, YOU DO HAVE A RELIGION.
forgive and forgive.. ikaw pa nagsabi niyan.. makasalanan tayo at ngaun sinasabi mong mas mabuti pang pagresign siya kesa paaminin siya? buti nga binibigyan pa siya ng pagkakataong bumawi, but again it's up to her and the politicians if they still live with unending culture of corruptions
forgive and forgive.. ikaw pa nagsabi niyan.. makasalanan tayo at ngaun sinasabi mong mas mabuti pang pagresign siya kesa paaminin siya? buti nga binibigyan pa siya ng pagkakataong bumawi, but again it's up to her and the politicians if they still live with unending culture of corruptions
Whut!?!?!? I never said I want her to step down (in fact I oppose the ousters). I just said that admitting her sins would ultimately remove her from her position, and personally, I won't count on our politicians to simply let her off if she admits.
No... for them, admitting their sin is like sealing their own death sentence. They will not admit unless they would receive something in return, like a charity basketball game designed to enrich themselves.
yan ang maling mali kaibigan, kung seryoso lang silang bumawi sa mga kasalanan nila aaminin nila yun ng walang kapalit.. edi ngaun sayo na nagmula.. ngayon atanungin kita, If given a chance that there is someone who is much better than her who is a good bet to be the one to replace her in case she step down, would you still want her to remain at her position?
Well apparently, they are not that desperate to admit their sins and face the wrath of those who don't. I already said it once. Corruption is very deeply settled in the government and there is no incentive and (for them) no reason to admit thier sin besides "being sorry for them". These people we are talking about are rational enough to know that admission of their sins means removal from power. It won't happen unless they receive the proper stimulus.
Another thing, even if one person admits his/her sins, there are too many politicians who commit corruption for that particular confession to effect real change in the government. If you mean, however that all of the corrupt politicians admit their wrongdoing, THE GOVERNMENT WOULD BE RUN BY GHOSTS.
The problem with your question about her replacement is FINDING the replacement. I doubt you can find a replacement who knows how to work the economy, decrease population growth, create more jobs and maintain a clean record as to the corruption in government who has personal interest in running for office.
you didn't answer my question, I said that if there is someone who can.. take note "if".. if there is someone possible and potential to be her replacement, would you still wish her to remain at her position? hope you understand
No... I'd rather allow her to finish her term so as to put the constitution back in power, at this point, it's virtually impossible to find a constitutional means to remove her. WAIT FOR 2010. LET HER SUCCESSOR CONVICT HER AND BE DONE WITH.
So you would do like the hypocrite politicians and rallyists to replace the current ruler and put the unstable economy in further chaos with the oil inflation and the US recession?
no is not how you will cover up for your mistakes.. but rather admitting what mistake have you done and after it making up for those mistakes.. then that's what I call taking the first step through repentance
don't include the hypocrite politicians there I'm not saying either that I would like her to be remove at her position but if she does more of that hypocrisy then that would be the time that she should step down.. I'm just saying that it's not bad to admit your sins and repent for it and make up for it
I'm likening you more to the hypocrite than the politician, amigo. You sin, yet you hate sinners. Exact definition of the expression "hypocrite". And if all hypocrites should step down, we'd have a government run by ghosts.
It's so hard explaining to you.. do I say I want her to be remove? I say it's not wrong to admit sins! did you get that?! tagalugin ko pa para mas maliwanag.. kung may kababayan ka na nagkamali, kukunsintehin mo ba lalo ang paggawa niya ng mali? hindi ba papaalalahanan mo siya na mali na ang ginagawa niya? ilang beses na ba siyang pinuna sa mga anomalyang kinasangkutan niya? napakarami na diba?
ah ngaun sinasabi mong ang katotohanan nakakamit lang yan pag namatay ka? poorly I'm sorry to say my friend, you can achieve the truth not only afterlife, but anytime just work hard for it!
Not saying that, I meant that anomalies about a despot are more exposed when they're dead. The second statement's almost wholly true, but not only is effort required. One also must possess skills, have an large store of information and some luck. Perseverance alone can't achieve it at this scale wherein most politicians are into corruption.
Well is she the only one commiting those acts? Doesn't admission of her mistake ultimately mean her removal from power? Obviously, if you want her to admit, you'd rather have her removed. It's a cause - effect thing. Besides, seeing that she has plenty of opponents, they'd naturally exert much effort in finding her errors.
like what I said "mapagpatawad ang mga Pilipino" at ibig ko lang sabihin sa sinabi kong maaari niya naman aminin ang mga kasalanan binibigyan pa siya ng pagkakataon bumawi sa mga nagawa nia, and I'm not pertaining only at her but for every politician.. sayo na rin nanggaling na makasalanan din tayo ngaun sinasabi mo mas okay na magresign siya kesa aminin kasalanan niya
and! here's a good question for you my friend.. all is sinners as you say, even the president herself.. but if but if the president who supposed to set as a role model is not acting like what she suppose to be, how could the country and his fellow country men be organize? could you answer that for me?
Good question. It is actually up to him/her how to cover up his/her mistakes... some of the last few presidents did a poor job. Of course, it helps if SOME news networks don't always take the oppositions side and act as if everything IS the president's fault.
no is not how you will cover up for your mistakes.. but rather admitting what mistake have you than and after it making up for those mistakes.. then that's what I call taking the first step through repentance
Is it not clear to you by now that MOST politicians are into corruption? It cannot be removed with our current situation. The best we can do is quiet the political noise and get on with our lives to improve our economy. maybe you've noticed that our economy experiences a boom when the politicians are silent.
hell it's clear for me as the sun.. I'm saying that not only for the president but for all corrupt officials.. are you not aware of a saying the truth will always prevail? it means no matter how you cover for your mistakes the truth will prevail at the end.. and that is what happening, not only in this present anomaly the admin is facing
So idealistic for an adult to say "the truth shall prevail". It only usually happens in the afterlife, bro. That's the truth. Again, if the corrupt ones step down = government run by ghosts.
I think in preparation for the 2010 elections, we should start implementing changes in a number of systems. National ID? Comelec change of voting system? whats your take on this? Kabayans we're here to discuss solutions. Post other ideas.
Neutral party? HAHA! There is NO neutral party. Create one? It won't last against the crafty partisan politicians. Another, the "watchdog group" should be funded by a group of private corporations who have no interest in politics to ensure neutrality.
people who are capable of changing the voting system are the people who are in power right now, but the thing is, they will not change it because it is very easy to cheat with the present system. one of the greatest components of a democracy is the right of the people to vote who they want to lead, this component has long been raped and abused by the corrupt system of the government.
True... so true... now a military take-over doesn't sound too bad in my mind. Of course, there are those who disagree, but our politicians really need a good slap from the military and especially the poor PNP who only do their job but get bad media for it.
I'd like 2 know da purpose of Lozada coming out w/this "truth." According 2 a cross examination by a senator this zte broad band deal was mainly dealt by him n his wife and contracted to a number of Lozada's group of companies. I don't see why this guy just take this issue to court n show all da evidence. stop da b/s take it to court n let them decide As for the nuns who's supporting him I'd like to know why they don't use these extra fund 2 feed the so many pinoys dat go hungry in r country.
Aww... does that mean I'm not mature? Just because I don't vote yet, you conclude I'm not mature? You cannot judge people by age, SIR. You definitely can't exclude me from these kinds of conversations.
Well spikyband says that we nonvoters should not be allowed to join in. Apprently, he/she only got aware of the government the moment he/she turned 18.
well I read it from the bible.. I don't know what is the exact phrase but the concept is that it's saying that being young is not a reason when it comes to the concern of your country.. that means you also have a right to join in
If we are 18, your voice get heard. Only then can we be counted, when we are allowed to vote. Below 18, we have to study and learn what the issues are. We can help make the country better not by going to the streets, there are other ways to contribute... including sharing ideas through you tube.
That does not necessarily mean, though, that those above 18 are exempted from learning the issues. Also, I think the 18-year old rule is biased as to age. Unfortunately, it's the only thing the Philippines can implement. I also believe that when a certain threshold is reached, taking to the streets the citizens' only option. However, that threshold has not been reached.
don't be a biase, you should analyze the situation first before you say anything against someone.. and if your saying that these people is despicable.. well think twice, maybe it's you who is a despicable
I'm not biased. I observed our previous 4 presidents' history and it formed. Still, not anywhere in my words can you find me directly calling ANYONE despicable. Corrupt, yes. But unchangeably evil, no. Also, I am despicable to some people. Point: not directly calling anyone despicable.
any kind of dictatorship is not good.. your just giving a chance on someone to have so much power.. come on, think not only for yourself but for others
I'M NOT THINKING OF MYSELF! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM UNDER THESE POLITICIANS! THEY HAVE THEIR OWN INTERESTS IN MIND! By the way, the pope is the absolute dictator of all Roman Catholics. His orders cannot be disobeyed, yet, the persons who had that title turned out to be good rulers for more than one occasion. NOT ALL DICTATORS ARE DESPOTS!
excuse me everyone.. gusto niyo ba talaga malaman bakit ang dami niyang kritiko? simple lang naman e, kasi marami siyang ginagawang kabalbalan! ok let's say tumaas ang ekonimiya but what is good of that kung kasabay ng pag-unlad ng ekonomiya sinasabayan mo naman ng mga katiwalian? wala ring kwenta un. "kung alam mong sa ngayon ang mga tao ay mas nakikita ang mga kamalian mo kaysa sa tamang ginagawa' aba accept it as a challenge na mas pagbutihan mo pa hindi yung lalo kang lumalala! gets?
She sure gets a huge publicity for every exposition, but I believe there's another reason for it. It's because she made a lot of enemies in the government(for various reasons not necessarily corruption-related). They would all do anything to bump her off her seat. Also, being the TOP executive official, everyone focuses more on HER actions than everyone else's. Any mistake would be magnified 100x her fellow corrupt officials' own. Therefore, should you wish to remove her, remove everyone else.
o well that maybe the reason for those oppositions who have a seat in the government, but I'm pointing to those thousands of rallyist including me who attended that occassion..
They're angry at the current admin, aren't they? But LOZADA himself said that "People Power should not be commemnced out of anger, but out of compassion," and these rallyists are obviously not complying. Besides, I know that the students who were there had other motives for going to the streets on a school day. Another, The others who were there are rooting for their favorite politicians. Proof, few attend non-politicain supported rally, but large masses for politician supported ones. Comment.
EDITED: They're angry at the current admin, aren't they? well let me ask you. yah I know, Lozada said that but isn't it that it's also their fault that all there acts provoking these rallyist to be angry? even if these people don't want to be, they can't help but to lose their temper.. and you can't blame them for that, if this admin wants to silence these people, therefore they should confess their sins that is the very 1st thing they should do
I'm grateful for a wonderful agreement too.. but just remember not to be biased, listen to both sides.. me in myself I'm sure that I stand my reason in joining the interfaith rally
I'm also sure that I'm impartial to the situation. Refer to my series of verbal bouts against "samtihnwong" on the earlier comments of this same video. Speaking of bout, Manny did a lackluster job. He should have knocked Marquez out.
hmm actually I'm don't wnat to patronize manny.. although I'm also glad that he won.. many politicians just riding with his popularity and he's consenting them..
Yes, even the president is doing that. Apparently, it's not bringing her any popularity. Also, I thought that Marquez did a spectacular job of attacking retreat.
we have come to the point where there is no one, i mean no one from the 80million people of the Philippines, capable of running the government correctly and honestly. because if that one will try, in the present set up of corruption in the government, he or she will not last 24 hours. corrupt forces in the Philippines especially the military can no longer go back to their status of just being protector of the people, they have to protect corruption instead bcuz thats where money is.
Well I believe otherwise. 80 million is too large a number to generalize as incapable to rule a country. You might as well have said that we should still be a US/Spanish Colony. Besides, the beauty of a dictatorship is that the ruler can easily dispose of anyone trying to offer him anything before he succumbs, then s/he can change the system. Comment please.
i cant believe that you said "the beauty of dictatorship" let us be clear, are you in favor of another dictator to rule our country?, and if you are , who do you have in mind exactly to take us into another wonderful world of dictatorship? please tell me , you can convince if you will try.
I am for a dictatorship not under our current politicians, BELIEVE IT. Ever heard of a benevolent dictator? You should know, not all dictators turned out to be despots. It's quite idealistic maybe to the point of incredible, but it's the only way the system can really be changed. No, I don't know of anyone now who can rule like a king and not abuse his/her power. Sorry.
a wise man once said {i forgot his name) it really doesnt matter what form of government a country is having, whether, democracy communism, dictatorial or something else, so long as the one leading is an "ANGEL".
ALRIGHT KABAYANS!Whether ur + or - gma 1 thing ol ur comments say out loud = r system of govt has deteriorated n da 1s affected is da people. Enuff w/how da system, politicians n govt is corrupt-we know dat. How about posting ideas for change. How are we going to change our governing ways? Healthcare? Economic stimulus? Education? We keep screaming out change-ok wat kind of changes do u want. post your suggestion for solution.
I might suggest a Martial Law approach under a leader who truly has the Filipinos' best intentions at heart. Definitely not under the current president or any of her allies, then again, not under any member of the current opposition (just in case you're suspecting, I don't have "me" in mind either). Under the complete control of 1 leader, implementing changes to the nation's government structure would be a lot easier. Please post your comments and avoid using offensive language. Thank you!
I totally agree with implementing changes. I think the changes should start (at this point) locally. R citizens need to be knowledgeable of our system of government. Citizens need to know that just because a pothole on the street or a broken down bridge has not been attended to doesn't mean immediately it is the president's fault. Pinoys need to be smart that their local officials they install has a direct effect on their way of living and the improvement of their own environment.
I'm agreeable with the change and that not everything is the president's fault. I don't know just how to implement these changes to a people who majority-wise are programmed to not like their leaders
yeah surely not everything is president's fault.. but come on she's the president and she should know how to be a good example, not leading the wrong actions or even consenting those who does!
(those who [DO])... Theoretically, the president should be a role model, but let's not forget humans are sinful by nature and even the best of leaders can be terrible sinners. Why not look at something positive for once? She hasn't declared herself empress of the Philippines, nor has she increased the taxes to 75% of the worker's salaries, has she?
Also, try to recognize that there are some nice things that she did. Another, if Filipinos were as forgiving as you say, then you should have forgiven her.
well then let me ask you, how could you dare forgive someone who doesn't admit his/her sins? hell yeah! all is sinners but is that an enough reason to hell make some more sins? it's a big challenge for you that you are in a high position that you should motivate yourself, not making yourself worse than ever..
and come on, come to think of this.. yeah I agree she has done something I can say good for the country.. but then try to make a 2 list, the one list is for those good things she has done, and the other one for the anomalies, corruptions stuffs that she and her allies has been involved.. the 2nd list would be much longer.. sum total, still you can't say that is a good ruling
I'm agreeable with the change and that not everything is the president's fault. I don't know just how to implement these changes to a people who majority-wise are programmed to not like their leaders
lol. isn't that what the philippines is known too many wants to chief so nothing is done. Maybe a neutral party out to make changes in our system should be formed of some sort. Unless the current administration put out an effort to implement change and work with a watchdog group that has no affiliation with government to consistently put a check on their actions and continually report the progress. Ideas welcome.
In preparation for the polls? How about barring anyone who has ever had elected office in the Philippine Government from running, Or a TV commercial (preferrably on all channels) that encourages voting on platform and credentials instead of popularity and charisma?
Before anyone accuses me of using conflicting statements, I'd like to clarify that the current politicians may still be beneficial to the country in some manner, but they would not be capable of ruling justly when given a title of "dictator". Again, open for non-offensive comments.
Great going, ctg0526... but as they perpetuate corruption and knowingly drain the coffers of our country - disregarding the good of the people and the State! - politicians are very much evil in my dictionary.
Heck. All of them politicians are sickening, with all their bickering and fighting and claims to morality. In fact, I don't think I believe that our system will work. Alas... I've gone apathetic and misanthrophic thanks to them. Sniveling, conniving babbling buf...
In your dictionary(knowing too much of it), yes. I however think only their acts are evil, not yet the politicians themselves. They have not stooped to the level of Mr. Marcos, have they? Oh, you're pro Marcos, aren't you? Well, they haven't stooped to the level of your fictional characters, that's for sure. You yourself called them evil, then again, you call lots of things evil.
Before you correct me, it was your work youn called evil, wasn't it? Anyway, replace Marcos with the worst leader imaginable. PLEASE do not limit yourself to Philippine context.
Seeing that political systems were made by men, it is inevitable that they be subject to imperfection. True, our system is easily bypassed by the same kind people who made them, still, if it were to be changed, the ones who will make a system will see to it that there are built-in loopholes within the "new system". So there is more or less, noting we can do to stop the atrocities committed by our politicians. The best we can do is to get on with our lives as best we can.
Meh, they're all just evil. It's practically an evil thing, to be a politician. But then... practically being a man or a woman is evil. Being human [i]might[/i] be a different thing... but, well... the Homo sapiens really does stink. A lot.
Bottomline: Admin - corrupt, Opposition- corrupt. People Power as means to vacate and fill presidency - INEFFICIENT, kudeta - messy. impeachment - impossible AT THE MOMENT.
Unfortunately, they did not execute it. Then again, any untoward incident in a rally would be attributed against the administration, so I guess a peaceful rally is better than a few thousand patients for Makati Med.
Oo na, filipino na (Filipino, not Tagalog). The main point is...
The oppositions (SENATORS, elites, corporate CEO's, CPP-NPA, Magdalo-LACSON) just proved to the Filipino people that they will stop at nothing just to pursue their bid for power... they will exploit your children, they will deceive your churches, they will trample your rights... for their selfish ambitions.
Say NO MORE to these scums of the earth, please adopt CHA-CHA as the other solution, preserve DEMOCRACY... get rid of all these SENATORS, and corruptions will fall away like dominos.
Just when I thought someone finally used their head... I get the other side of the coin who thinks that it is only the opposition that is "evil". The worst part is, (well actually, it's just an added insult) the grammar was terrible. Churches and corruptions? Hello Mr. Estrada, then again, he's part of the opposition, isn't he?
ctg0526 - I guess you must be the self-appointed grammar checker... like you said "... someone finally used THEIR head (someone has how many head(s)?)... hahaha !!!
If you read my comment... I never called them "evil" (you called then that)... I called them scum of the earth... hahaha !!!

Why Me For President were you sarcastic?
m4pistol 3 years ago
Partly yes, partly a harmless joke. The thing I wanted to emphasize was that replacing people in government is quite useless.
ctg0526 3 years ago
let me quote from a lasalian professor
"You are confused. You are confused of what you have studied and you are confused of the principles. EDSA 2 is a spirit of the people and not a move joined and caused by GMA.
m4pistol 3 years ago
EDSA 2 was neither the "spirit of the people" nor a move caused by PGMA. It was all politics. Those people who couldn't dethrone Estrada in court [not THE people] had to do it in the streets out of frustration.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Hello?, who do you like for 2010 buddy?
and What is your political orientation?
m4pistol 3 years ago
Personally, I don't think any of the candidates will change our country. If I had to vote for one, I want a business tycoon leading the country. Less incentive for corruption, more experience running an organization.
I'd rather not root for a party because those tend to be really corrupt to be able to fund themselves.
ctg0526 3 years ago
If possible, I want someone with a deep background in economics, history, philisophy, science [particularly physics] and management.
ctg0526 3 years ago
How about Militant Party-lists?
m4pistol 3 years ago
I couldn't care less what those party lists are. As long as the persons comprising them have the potentials I seek in a national leader, I will elect them.
ctg0526 3 years ago
One more thing, I want people who, in case of election loss, will graciously accept defeat. That may be a bit too much to expect from our politicians, [Ateneans and all,] but I think it's important that they will not waste public funds in recounts and hearings just to attempt to change the person seated on the high throne. After which, THE SAME NATIONAL PROBLEMS STILL PERSIST.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Like Bayan Muna or Anakpawis...
anyway it's just that we need change, that is socialist change!
m4pistol 3 years ago
Like I said, I couldn't care less. If we're going to be socialist in exchange for getting rid of poverty, why not? As long as the candidates are capable of leading our country though international financial turmoil, it's fine.
ctg0526 3 years ago
well what's your suggestion, sobriety?
and wait for good leaders?
m4pistol 3 years ago
Violent rallies don't work, peaceful protests change nothing, armed rebellion tends to make everything worse [and too often don't work]. The best thing we can do is to spare our energy and hope for a brighter tomorrow, unless of course we ourselves plan to run for office and try to change things ourselves, getting tangled in corrupt politics along the way.
ctg0526 3 years ago
so you say change begins at yourself thanks for the answer until next time ciao!

"You are confused. You are confused of what you have studied and you are confused of the principles. EDSA 2 is a spirit of the people and not a move joined and caused by GMA."
from a lasallite prof
m4pistol 3 years ago
Actually, I think EDSA 2 is an attempt by frustrated politicians, who couldn't get an envelope, open to bring down a rival. I'm not saying the prof is wrong. That may be his point of view but we have to remember that those who joined EDSA 2 [including myself] comprise a small fraction of the population of Metro Manila, let alone the entire Philippines. What's more, the change EDSA 2 promised to bring to the masses was not fulfilled.

the real church is that of the believers of jesus christ that repent and put their trust in him and obey his commands. That is the body of christ, his church.
stevo751 3 years ago
Oh, MANY churches say they go by that description. And the Old Testament does not have Jesus in it yet [directly].
ctg0526 3 years ago
it does mention him in it though, son of man is usually the phrase, and another name but i forgot that name

We are living in the last days! Repent and Trust in the Lord Jesus and obey his commands!
stevo751 3 years ago
Yes, prophet of doom. I suppose you're taking globalization even into religion?
ctg0526 3 years ago
Yep, I am no prophet, but the book of revelation states that there will be a person in power over the whole world and its economy and religion.
Take care
stevo751 3 years ago
So you think the book of Revelation is factual? You also think the book of Genesis is factual?
ctg0526 3 years ago

stevo751 3 years ago
The Roman Catholic Church has never lost its roots. Don't know about YOUR church, but I'm afraid we can continue this argument no longer because our faiths have different interpretations of faith and we can't settle them all here.
ctg0526 3 years ago
The church of jesus christ, is the body of all believers that obey his commands, trust him as savior, and repent. No building or denomination is it man. We could argue but im not trying to im pointing things out to you if you research you will find the answer

A US Citizen indeed. You have no business with this video and your first comment is completely unrelated to the topic. Your last "sentence" isn't even a sentence. hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Whut!?!?!? I never said I want her to step down (in fact I oppose the ousters). I just said that admitting her sins would ultimately remove her from her position, and personally, I won't count on our politicians to simply let her off if she admits.
ctg0526 3 years ago
no I dont think so.. admitting sins is a good way, pwede pa ring hindi ka matanggal sa pwesto.. mapapatawad ka pa rin..
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
No... for them, admitting their sin is like sealing their own death sentence. They will not admit unless they would receive something in return, like a charity basketball game designed to enrich themselves.
ctg0526 3 years ago
yan ang maling mali kaibigan, kung seryoso lang silang bumawi sa mga kasalanan nila aaminin nila yun ng walang kapalit.. edi ngaun sayo na nagmula.. ngayon atanungin kita, If given a chance that there is someone who is much better than her who is a good bet to be the one to replace her in case she step down, would you still want her to remain at her position?
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Well apparently, they are not that desperate to admit their sins and face the wrath of those who don't. I already said it once. Corruption is very deeply settled in the government and there is no incentive and (for them) no reason to admit thier sin besides "being sorry for them". These people we are talking about are rational enough to know that admission of their sins means removal from power. It won't happen unless they receive the proper stimulus.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Another thing, even if one person admits his/her sins, there are too many politicians who commit corruption for that particular confession to effect real change in the government. If you mean, however that all of the corrupt politicians admit their wrongdoing, THE GOVERNMENT WOULD BE RUN BY GHOSTS.
ctg0526 3 years ago
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
ctg0526 3 years ago
oh e ano? atlis naman ginawa na nila ang tama.. ngayon kung habulin sila ng mga kaaway nila, un mga kaaway na nila ang mali.. sa ganung paraan nababawasan na kasalanan mo
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
The problem with your question about her replacement is FINDING the replacement. I doubt you can find a replacement who knows how to work the economy, decrease population growth, create more jobs and maintain a clean record as to the corruption in government who has personal interest in running for office.
ctg0526 3 years ago
you didn't answer my question, I said that if there is someone who can.. take note "if".. if there is someone possible and potential to be her replacement, would you still wish her to remain at her position? hope you understand
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
No... I'd rather allow her to finish her term so as to put the constitution back in power, at this point, it's virtually impossible to find a constitutional means to remove her. WAIT FOR 2010. LET HER SUCCESSOR CONVICT HER AND BE DONE WITH.
ctg0526 3 years ago
maybe a good idea.. at first I'm always saying that we people are not the ones who will convict those sinners because we too are sinners..
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
cast the stone? unless you want them pursue what they are doing..
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
So you would do like the hypocrite politicians and rallyists to replace the current ruler and put the unstable economy in further chaos with the oil inflation and the US recession?
ctg0526 3 years ago
no is not how you will cover up for your mistakes.. but rather admitting what mistake have you done and after it making up for those mistakes.. then that's what I call taking the first step through repentance
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
don't include the hypocrite politicians there I'm not saying either that I would like her to be remove at her position but if she does more of that hypocrisy then that would be the time that she should step down.. I'm just saying that it's not bad to admit your sins and repent for it and make up for it
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
I'm likening you more to the hypocrite than the politician, amigo. You sin, yet you hate sinners. Exact definition of the expression "hypocrite". And if all hypocrites should step down, we'd have a government run by ghosts.
ctg0526 3 years ago
It's so hard explaining to you.. do I say I want her to be remove? I say it's not wrong to admit sins! did you get that?! tagalugin ko pa para mas maliwanag.. kung may kababayan ka na nagkamali, kukunsintehin mo ba lalo ang paggawa niya ng mali? hindi ba papaalalahanan mo siya na mali na ang ginagawa niya? ilang beses na ba siyang pinuna sa mga anomalyang kinasangkutan niya? napakarami na diba?
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
ah ngaun sinasabi mong ang katotohanan nakakamit lang yan pag namatay ka? poorly I'm sorry to say my friend, you can achieve the truth not only afterlife, but anytime just work hard for it!
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Not saying that, I meant that anomalies about a despot are more exposed when they're dead. The second statement's almost wholly true, but not only is effort required. One also must possess skills, have an large store of information and some luck. Perseverance alone can't achieve it at this scale wherein most politicians are into corruption.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Well is she the only one commiting those acts? Doesn't admission of her mistake ultimately mean her removal from power? Obviously, if you want her to admit, you'd rather have her removed. It's a cause - effect thing. Besides, seeing that she has plenty of opponents, they'd naturally exert much effort in finding her errors.
ctg0526 3 years ago
like what I said "mapagpatawad ang mga Pilipino" at ibig ko lang sabihin sa sinabi kong maaari niya naman aminin ang mga kasalanan binibigyan pa siya ng pagkakataon bumawi sa mga nagawa nia, and I'm not pertaining only at her but for every politician.. sayo na rin nanggaling na makasalanan din tayo ngaun sinasabi mo mas okay na magresign siya kesa aminin kasalanan niya
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
and! here's a good question for you my friend.. all is sinners as you say, even the president herself.. but if but if the president who supposed to set as a role model is not acting like what she suppose to be, how could the country and his fellow country men be organize? could you answer that for me?
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Good question. It is actually up to him/her how to cover up his/her mistakes... some of the last few presidents did a poor job. Of course, it helps if SOME news networks don't always take the oppositions side and act as if everything IS the president's fault.
ctg0526 3 years ago
no is not how you will cover up for your mistakes.. but rather admitting what mistake have you than and after it making up for those mistakes.. then that's what I call taking the first step through repentance
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Is it not clear to you by now that MOST politicians are into corruption? It cannot be removed with our current situation. The best we can do is quiet the political noise and get on with our lives to improve our economy. maybe you've noticed that our economy experiences a boom when the politicians are silent.
ctg0526 3 years ago
hell it's clear for me as the sun.. I'm saying that not only for the president but for all corrupt officials.. are you not aware of a saying the truth will always prevail? it means no matter how you cover for your mistakes the truth will prevail at the end.. and that is what happening, not only in this present anomaly the admin is facing
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
So idealistic for an adult to say "the truth shall prevail". It only usually happens in the afterlife, bro. That's the truth. Again, if the corrupt ones step down = government run by ghosts.

ctg0526 3 years ago
people who are capable of changing the voting system are the people who are in power right now, but the thing is, they will not change it because it is very easy to cheat with the present system. one of the greatest components of a democracy is the right of the people to vote who they want to lead, this component has long been raped and abused by the corrupt system of the government.

True... so true... now a military take-over doesn't sound too bad in my mind. Of course, there are those who disagree, but our politicians really need a good slap from the military and especially the poor PNP who only do their job but get bad media for it.

Yey... take that spikyband!!!
ctg0526 3 years ago
If we are 18, your voice get heard. Only then can we be counted, when we are allowed to vote. Below 18, we have to study and learn what the issues are. We can help make the country better not by going to the streets, there are other ways to contribute... including sharing ideas through you tube.
spikyband 3 years ago
That does not necessarily mean, though, that those above 18 are exempted from learning the issues. Also, I think the 18-year old rule is biased as to age. Unfortunately, it's the only thing the Philippines can implement. I also believe that when a certain threshold is reached, taking to the streets the citizens' only option. However, that threshold has not been reached.
ctg0526 3 years ago

She sure gets a huge publicity for every exposition, but I believe there's another reason for it. It's because she made a lot of enemies in the government(for various reasons not necessarily corruption-related). They would all do anything to bump her off her seat. Also, being the TOP executive official, everyone focuses more on HER actions than everyone else's. Any mistake would be magnified 100x her fellow corrupt officials' own. Therefore, should you wish to remove her, remove everyone else.
ctg0526 3 years ago
o well that maybe the reason for those oppositions who have a seat in the government, but I'm pointing to those thousands of rallyist including me who attended that occassion..
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
They're angry at the current admin, aren't they? But LOZADA himself said that "People Power should not be commemnced out of anger, but out of compassion," and these rallyists are obviously not complying. Besides, I know that the students who were there had other motives for going to the streets on a school day. Another, The others who were there are rooting for their favorite politicians. Proof, few attend non-politicain supported rally, but large masses for politician supported ones. Comment.

well let me ask you. yah I know, Lozada said that but isn't it that it's also their fault that all there acts provoking these rallyist to be angry? even if these people don't want to be, they can't help but to lose their temper.. and you can't blame them for that, if this admin wants to silence these people, therefore they should confess their sins that is the very 1st thing they should do
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
but I agree on you, all should be remove and the system should be change..
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Haha... thanks for the agreement. First one I heard since I can't remember. Yes, all the current ones should be removed and the system changed.
ctg0526 3 years ago
I'm grateful for a wonderful agreement too.. but just remember not to be biased, listen to both sides.. me in myself I'm sure that I stand my reason in joining the interfaith rally
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
I'm also sure that I'm impartial to the situation. Refer to my series of verbal bouts against "samtihnwong" on the earlier comments of this same video. Speaking of bout, Manny did a lackluster job. He should have knocked Marquez out.
ctg0526 3 years ago
hmm actually I'm don't wnat to patronize manny.. although I'm also glad that he won.. many politicians just riding with his popularity and he's consenting them..
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Yes, even the president is doing that. Apparently, it's not bringing her any popularity. Also, I thought that Marquez did a spectacular job of attacking retreat.

we have come to the point where there is no one, i mean no one from the 80million people of the Philippines, capable of running the government correctly and honestly. because if that one will try, in the present set up of corruption in the government, he or she will not last 24 hours. corrupt forces in the Philippines especially the military can no longer go back to their status of just being protector of the people, they have to protect corruption instead bcuz thats where money is.
mon9inch 3 years ago
Well I believe otherwise. 80 million is too large a number to generalize as incapable to rule a country. You might as well have said that we should still be a US/Spanish Colony. Besides, the beauty of a dictatorship is that the ruler can easily dispose of anyone trying to offer him anything before he succumbs, then s/he can change the system. Comment please.
ctg0526 3 years ago
i cant believe that you said "the beauty of dictatorship" let us be clear, are you in favor of another dictator to rule our country?, and if you are , who do you have in mind exactly to take us into another wonderful world of dictatorship? please tell me , you can convince if you will try.
mon9inch 3 years ago
I am for a dictatorship not under our current politicians, BELIEVE IT. Ever heard of a benevolent dictator? You should know, not all dictators turned out to be despots. It's quite idealistic maybe to the point of incredible, but it's the only way the system can really be changed. No, I don't know of anyone now who can rule like a king and not abuse his/her power. Sorry.
ctg0526 3 years ago
a wise man once said {i forgot his name) it really doesnt matter what form of government a country is having, whether, democracy communism, dictatorial or something else, so long as the one leading is an "ANGEL".

Thank you!
ctg0526 3 years ago
I totally agree with implementing changes. I think the changes should start (at this point) locally. R citizens need to be knowledgeable of our system of government. Citizens need to know that just because a pothole on the street or a broken down bridge has not been attended to doesn't mean immediately it is the president's fault. Pinoys need to be smart that their local officials they install has a direct effect on their way of living and the improvement of their own environment.
l1l1b3ll 3 years ago
I'm agreeable with the change and that not everything is the president's fault. I don't know just how to implement these changes to a people who majority-wise are programmed to not like their leaders
ctg0526 3 years ago
yeah surely not everything is president's fault.. but come on she's the president and she should know how to be a good example, not leading the wrong actions or even consenting those who does!
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
(those who [DO])... Theoretically, the president should be a role model, but let's not forget humans are sinful by nature and even the best of leaders can be terrible sinners. Why not look at something positive for once? She hasn't declared herself empress of the Philippines, nor has she increased the taxes to 75% of the worker's salaries, has she?
ctg0526 3 years ago
Also, try to recognize that there are some nice things that she did. Another, if Filipinos were as forgiving as you say, then you should have forgiven her.
ctg0526 3 years ago
well then let me ask you, how could you dare forgive someone who doesn't admit his/her sins? hell yeah! all is sinners but is that an enough reason to hell make some more sins? it's a big challenge for you that you are in a high position that you should motivate yourself, not making yourself worse than ever..
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
True, but the point is, "Let he who has not sinned before in his life be the one to cast the first stone," or something like that...
ctg0526 3 years ago
and come on, come to think of this.. yeah I agree she has done something I can say good for the country.. but then try to make a 2 list, the one list is for those good things she has done, and the other one for the anomalies, corruptions stuffs that she and her allies has been involved.. the 2nd list would be much longer.. sum total, still you can't say that is a good ruling
hahahuhu24 3 years ago
Well, I wouldn't say that most politicians would have more "GOODS" than "BADS" either.
ctg0526 3 years ago
I'm agreeable with the change and that not everything is the president's fault. I don't know just how to implement these changes to a people who majority-wise are programmed to not like their leaders
ctg0526 3 years ago
lol. isn't that what the philippines is known too many wants to chief so nothing is done. Maybe a neutral party out to make changes in our system should be formed of some sort. Unless the current administration put out an effort to implement change and work with a watchdog group that has no affiliation with government to consistently put a check on their actions and continually report the progress. Ideas welcome.
l1l1b3ll 3 years ago
In preparation for the polls? How about barring anyone who has ever had elected office in the Philippine Government from running, Or a TV commercial (preferrably on all channels) that encourages voting on platform and credentials instead of popularity and charisma?
ctg0526 3 years ago
Before anyone accuses me of using conflicting statements, I'd like to clarify that the current politicians may still be beneficial to the country in some manner, but they would not be capable of ruling justly when given a title of "dictator". Again, open for non-offensive comments.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Great going, ctg0526... but as they perpetuate corruption and knowingly drain the coffers of our country - disregarding the good of the people and the State! - politicians are very much evil in my dictionary.
Heck. All of them politicians are sickening, with all their bickering and fighting and claims to morality. In fact, I don't think I believe that our system will work. Alas... I've gone apathetic and misanthrophic thanks to them. Sniveling, conniving babbling buf...
...Anyway...
heinz1023 3 years ago
In your dictionary(knowing too much of it), yes. I however think only their acts are evil, not yet the politicians themselves. They have not stooped to the level of Mr. Marcos, have they? Oh, you're pro Marcos, aren't you? Well, they haven't stooped to the level of your fictional characters, that's for sure. You yourself called them evil, then again, you call lots of things evil.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Before you correct me, it was your work youn called evil, wasn't it? Anyway, replace Marcos with the worst leader imaginable. PLEASE do not limit yourself to Philippine context.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Seeing that political systems were made by men, it is inevitable that they be subject to imperfection. True, our system is easily bypassed by the same kind people who made them, still, if it were to be changed, the ones who will make a system will see to it that there are built-in loopholes within the "new system". So there is more or less, noting we can do to stop the atrocities committed by our politicians. The best we can do is to get on with our lives as best we can.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Meh, they're all just evil. It's practically an evil thing, to be a politician. But then... practically being a man or a woman is evil. Being human [i]might[/i] be a different thing... but, well... the Homo sapiens really does stink. A lot.
Yay misanthrope!
heinz1023 3 years ago
From this moment on, I will never refer any youtube video to Heinz.
ctg0526 3 years ago
Bottomline: Admin - corrupt, Opposition- corrupt. People Power as means to vacate and fill presidency - INEFFICIENT, kudeta - messy. impeachment - impossible AT THE MOMENT.

ang bobo ng mga terorista! bakit hindi nila nagawang planuhing pasabugan ang pangyayaring ito. madami sana silang napatay.
zhacklim 3 years ago
Unfortunately, they did not execute it. Then again, any untoward incident in a rally would be attributed against the administration, so I guess a peaceful rally is better than a few thousand patients for Makati Med.
ctg0526 3 years ago
bobo ka din noh? "trying hard" ka mag-ingles mali naman ang grammar! pilipino ka mag-tagalog ka! bobo!!!
zhacklim 3 years ago
Oo na, filipino na (Filipino, not Tagalog). The main point is...
ctg0526 3 years ago
Another thing, I never mentioned my nationality and you quickly assumed that I am a Filipino.
ctg0526 3 years ago
The oppositions (SENATORS, elites, corporate CEO's, CPP-NPA, Magdalo-LACSON) just proved to the Filipino people that they will stop at nothing just to pursue their bid for power... they will exploit your children, they will deceive your churches, they will trample your rights... for their selfish ambitions.
Say NO MORE to these scums of the earth, please adopt CHA-CHA as the other solution, preserve DEMOCRACY... get rid of all these SENATORS, and corruptions will fall away like dominos.
samtihnwong 3 years ago
Just when I thought someone finally used their head... I get the other side of the coin who thinks that it is only the opposition that is "evil". The worst part is, (well actually, it's just an added insult) the grammar was terrible. Churches and corruptions? Hello Mr. Estrada, then again, he's part of the opposition, isn't he?
ctg0526 3 years ago
ctg0526 - I guess you must be the self-appointed grammar checker... like you said "... someone finally used THEIR head (someone has how many head(s)?)... hahaha !!!
If you read my comment... I never called them "evil" (you called then that)... I called them scum of the earth... hahaha !!!
