  • The dj Mixers with Crossfade exist since around 1974 (GLI 3800 and Meteor Clubman One-One). 1976/1977 was the beginning of the DJ battles in the Bronx (Bam, Disco Wiz, Breakout, King Mario, Caz, Kool Dee, Theodore etc)

  • @funkberto ye

  • Perfection....does not and CANNOT get better!!! They way they start and finish each other's lines or just interject with one or two words...unreal!!!!

  • yeah i was joking, of course i know that lil whoopi goldberg is the wackest rapper alive and so are his crew of no-talent busters

  • 8 people are under the age of 21 and are mislead by waka flocka and rick ross thinking that's real hip hop

  • 8 people are a part of young money/cash money camp claimin' lil wayne is the best rapper alive and a real blood

  • @quasimoto270 hahahahahahahahahahahaha are you joking cos lil wayne is the funnyiest thing ever

  • @og69er i was joking, we also know that young money are made of people who wear skinny jeans, smedium shirts, mohawks and have annoying voices that sound like they've been sucking helium.

  • 8 people are gay!!!

  • This is where it started, breakdance / electro , electro / hip hop,

    hip hop / rap ,

    rap / ...... game over.

  • i love this....it was great in wild style many years ago but its like gold considering the wrong turn rap took

  • great days :)

  • Eminem can MC..but 90% of his tracks are shit.

  • I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL ALBUM AND VHS TAPE LMAO YUP IM OLD HA HA

  • I'm like a kid in a candy store lol 20 years later we can have these guys and more legends as friends on facebook wow

  • I couldn't give 2 f*cks about somebody's life story,I want to hear some braggin rights and skillz on the M.I.C

  • I seen a couple of earlier posts.gansta rap went a long way to killing REAL hip hop along with MTV,but at the end of the day,we are all on this page because we have knowledge about REAL hip hop, thank fuck it went underground again.

  • The youth 2day only know about

drug dealing rhymes and gangster times

    In the music 2day.

Sad 2 Say this generation missed Out on

    a golden era.

  • hip hop rap was about hangin not bangin .. good times always back then..

  • @TheCardona68 calm n with style, fuck alll the shufflers today there just biting from b-boying

  • hey man u got patty duke

  • Do anyone know from where caini download the movie?

  • i wish rap muzic would go back 2 this !!!!!!!!

  • Still Fresh, always will be.

  • I was this shit in COney Island in the late 70's. guys spinnin on their head on cardboard boxes. It was CrAZy ShIT!!!! mY FATher just kept eatin his French Fries.

  • @rexboogie eminem does wat not alot of artist do nowadays. he actually tells a story with his rymes; he doesnt jus bragg bout how cool he is nd how much money he has. i hav no idea who rodney dangerfield is nd i hav no idea wat ur tkn bout. if u really wnt to kno wat "rappers" r pop stars thn i will tell u

  • how many rappers today can sound so clear live? Go to your average hip hop concert and rappers be sounding muffled and bassy in shit tired breathing hard slobbin and spitten

  • @ColdGripHandle i no rite?.....

  • classi...This story really had to be told...

  • gotta say im as white as eminem, and i werent born in the usa, but i been on the scene since c.o.d, pacjam afrika mambatta, nucleus et al! and all the rest, i am old enough to be anyones dad, and although the times are diferent, i cant see why eminem cant rap...and i never saw why living colour couldnt headbang!!

  • Also, for you guys who want to hear some other rap, search "Jazzy 3-Rappin Spree".

  • @GoliathZodiacTF tell me one way how eminem is not real rap!!

    I bet tht u can't

  • @1000aaronaaronaaron He is very good with lyrics. I think one on the best out today.(that aint sayin much) But his music is pop music. I put some of Jay-Z stuff in the same class. Rodney Dangerfield rapped on a record that did not make it hip hop.

  • @GoliathZodiacTF tell me one way how emenim is not real rap

  • @1000aaronaaronaaron He is "rap" but that does'nt mean it's Hip Hop.It's different.

  • @ MrSpk92 & GoliathZodiacTF

I CAN IMAGINE U 2 RAPPIN OUT UR COMMENT ARGUMENTS 2 THIS BEAT!

    LOL XD

    =)

  • @SHINBAXTER Thanks, that seems for me to be a compliment. And 1000aaronaaronaaron@ the reason you might think Eminem is not whack is becuase, 1)You hear it, 2)You probably love it, and 3)You probabaly don't LIVE in the place rap was born and maybe not STILL live there and maybe not have a DAD that has seen this music in action.Period.

  • Eminem=DEFITNALLY not 'rap'.

  • @GoliathZodiacTF excuse me learn how to spell "definitely" before you talk haha

  • @MrSpk92 Learn how to use SHIFT/Caps before you start a sentence.'Haha'. >_>. Still, my case stands corrected.

  • Ahhh...classic hip hop! I still have this joint on VHS!!

  • 7 people are single trouble

  • Ah! That's what I like! People don't do this anymore. Just straight rappin'! No chorus! No Filler! No bullshit! lol!

  • makes me embarrassed to say that the popular music when i was a teen was drake and lil wayne and that beaver kid... real hip-hop is gone, but i lives forever... because its better!

  • kk rockwell and lil rodney cee were the shit, too bad they decided to split from funky four + 1. these two don't get the credit they deserve. anyone who ever attended a zulu nation party in the bronx (1979-1982) would hear these two cats on the mic setting it off and either bambaataa or jazzy jay or breakout on the turntables....the golden age!

  • platinum era!

  • some of the hardest 'ish ever immortalized on wax... ya heard...!!!

  • everything about this is gold, except that the graffiti in the video is NOT wild style

  • Boys and Girls this is REAL MUSIC...LITTLE WAYNE IS A SCUM BAG...YA HEARD

  • Old School....!

  • yo can i get the link for the lyrics of this song!!!!?????? :)

  • i can just see mos def nodding his head to this and other cats bout to create the golden era, ya dig?

  • This is good rap and so is the 90's rap but todays rap is complete crap

  • @Arkains10

Yeah! The eighties was the GOLDEN ERA of rap....the 90's the SILVER ERA...today is cardboard!!!

  • @SR71BBFLYER well thats ur opinion but its actually written that the 80's and 90's were the golden era of rap... but i will agree that the late 90's where somewhat silver.

  • @Arkains10 True the 90's had a lot of really good rap acts out there...I "downgraded" it to a silver only because the 90's also saw the coming of gangsta rap which eventually lead to the crap thats being put out today. 80's rap settled beef on wax...late 90's rappers put each other in graves. But like u said....thats just my humble opinion.

  • @SR71BBFLYER i would say gangsta rap was so good it killed itself.... when it first came it was great but then people saw too easy money and it was all destroyed :(

  • @Arkains10 HaHa! "gangsta rap was so good it killed itself"..LOL! That's a GREAT line. You're a pretty bright young man. I was about ur age back in the late 70's early 80's so I guess I'm just a bit more nostalgic for the earlier stuff. But ur points are well taken...peace.

  • @SR71BBFLYER peace out. nice to see a person who knows common sense about rap.... you dont see them much more especially not in school... all i see it people amazed by eminems new album.

  • Awwyeah! Rap-the way it used to be,and the way it should be!!! Thank for the memories!! So glad I grew up in this era.

  • @EdLovato word to that

  • @EdLovato stuff out now is about getting going to da club, getting drunk, booty grinding, and getting laid.. not that that stuff isn't fun but it's narrow minded. hip hop back then was more about the music and a movement..
