I have an open stance and Im wondering if I should keep two hands on the bat after I swing or not. I have the open stance which I step into the pitch,I dont stay open. Can someone please help me decide whether to keep two hands on the bat or not.
@TheOREO234 You do know to hit a ball HARD and FAR like Bryce Harper for example takes mostly ALL lower body, and it also takes A strong core and good weight transfers?
Picking your foot up and setting it down IS a stride. It doesn't matter if your foot is in any different spot than when it started. So Bryce Harper does, in fact, stride.
Watch the poor kid in the middle drop his hands to swing on the same plane the ball is coming at him. Much like slow pitch soft ballers. Bryce keeps his hand up to strike the ball from the hitting zone.
For all of your couch potato / slow-pitch softball All-Stars that are self-proclaimed hitting geniuses: Why dont you take a look at the swings of Major League power hitters like Pujols, A-Rod, Chipper Jones, or Manny before you start criticizing Bryce for lifting his back foot? There is a weight transfer at the point of contact that allows a natural back leg lift due to momentum. It doesnt take away any power. That "squash the bug" swing is Little League shit, just like your hitting knowledge.
@joeyheisman3 Right. . . Can you say Walt Hriniak, George Brett, Wade Boggs and Frank Thomas. When he gets to the big leagues there probably won't be as a pronounced weight shift, but he will hit against his front side much more. This will enable him to hit MLB pitching with a higher avg. without sacrificing power.
Technically Bryce Harper doesn't stride. If you watch the video closely you will see his torso moves forward, and his front leg just follows. What his leg kick looks like has absolutely nothing to do with how much power he is generating....assuming the torso is causing the movement. So a better description would likely be his torso moves forward as Bryce kicks his leg (The leg kick really has nothing to do with power output)...not that Bryce Harper is striding in an odd manner.
even now he jumps to the ball. Yeah he has extraordinary batspeed, hand-eye coordination, and bat path, but he needs A LOT of work on his swing before he can hit major league pitching.
Bryce is a good kid with amazing talent. It is too bad that there are so many jealous haters out there. It is obviously because they will never have the opportunity to succeed the way Bryce has. If he stays healthy, he will only get better. Good luck Bryce.
@johnrusconi I agree with you.You can sit back and scrutinize everything he does, but wait til he gets some of the best hitting coaches in the world on a daily basis. From what i've learned, he's got a good head and loves to work.He can only get better.I've obviously never seen a better hitter than this guy.I played a good bit of ball myself and have two good friends in the MLB..one hit nearly 20 bombs last year....they were GREAT hitters, and he makes them look like nothing...SERiOUSLY
Everyone who says his swing has poor mechanics needs to reevaluate your knowledge of hitting, he will need to calm down a little of that motion, however his back foot explodes off the groung because he has a front foot lead arm approach. Most of the greatest hitters in the game have this same style of hitting
@msmith8484 thats because their bat path is still good and they create good angles. That doesn't work anymore, because pitchers know how to pitch to that. Creating good angles may allow you to hit bombs off of BP and amateur pitching, but if you don't stay back and let it get deep, your not going to hit big league pitching. Atleast not with any average.
he was drafted because of the tools package...not the swing. when he starts facing grown men at the higher levels that can pull the string, spin nasssty breaking balls AND locate.. the huge leg kick and stride will not be there. With that contract he's guaranteed big league time but We'll see what the future will hold for this young chap
wow. its almost impossible to mimic that swing. if someone went to a hitting coach and swung like that he would be like u have terrible mechanics. (happened to me). H makes solid contact by twisting is foot, making HUGE strides, and his back foot comes off the ground. The way he hits makes him a freak of nature. IN A GOOD WAY
@MJLUVR77 - It´s a natural thing ... He doesn´t do it on purpose .. The front leg you must lift before a pitch so you can get energy on your swing. When I swing .. My back leg comes of naturally.
first off i will agree with you on the 500 foot HR off the bp pithcing machine. second you are completley wrong about his the kid being on his front side. he is a bit on his front side in this video but what you dont know is you can still hit off speed pitches on your fron side aslong as you hands are back and are strong enought to hit on your front side, which he is. he has also refind his hitting mechanics for college ball and if you havnt herd has destroyed juco pithcing with a wood bat
whats the tape around the barrel of a wooden bat do, i forgot lol. and i hit off my front foot and i seem to hit off speed pitches fine, even though im only a freshy it still makes sence, its just your style of hitting.
BEAUTIFUL swing. his lower body is aligned perfectly at contact every time. he doesn't hit off his front foot, he just transfers so fast you don't notice. At contact he's perfect. Every.Single.Time. it's an absolutely wonderful thing to watch.
sweet place its a baseball training paradise... im from Cal and there isnt anything that i know of like this place where they have in door mounds with the dirt and everything
All of his weight is out front after. His hips and knee line up perfectly on contact. Screw you if you think he sucks, i promise people who sit on youtube making fun of people with better swings them could never accomplish as much as Harper has.
i have to agree with the people saying he has lots of holes in his swing. look at all the weight he puts on his front foot. nevertheless, he is still an incredibly good hitter
I dont understand why people hate on him? i mean come on hes the real deal hes only like 17 and he has 21 hr and is batting .412 in college baseball thats amazing! People say he has bad technique Ha
He doesn't jump at the ball; he just has a huge negative move and stride. I guess you could say he over strides but that's not really a big problem. Bottom line is that this kid is the real deal.
He's got an amazing open wide stance, southpaw low and aways are gonna kill his average. His elbow is going to be mush in about 3 years in MLB throwing that much short-arm side arm from the dish like that. Its like he got the best mechanics for the moment, not for the long haul?
@BrazilianAwakening He's keeping his elbow up, which keeps the trigger in your swing loaded and also keeps you from dropping your elbow and hitting pop-ups. If having a proper batting stnce is "annoying"...well, that's too bad.
holy crap he's trying to KILL that ball. obviously showing off for the camera. he's still a hell of a player with tremendous upside. can't wait to see him face some real pitching.
lol, you're an idiot. i have watched his college vids. that's why i said he's a hell of a player with tremendous upside. not quite sure what you're getting at.
Biggest sports teen since lebron!!! And no one go around thinking he'll hit 60 homers, my guess is he'll hit about .335 with 35 Hr and 35 stolen bases. I'm a scout in the St. Louis Cardinals orginization on my son's YouTube account. If seen a lot of "Can't miss prospects" and only about 30% actually don't miss and Bryce Harper is one of 'em!
he's moving around alot, but listen to the bat when it hits the ball. Sounds like a gun shot. Compare this to the video of shane victorino. Victorino doesnt even look like hes swinging and it sounds like thunder. I'm sure that as Harper gets better and better, hes going to be able to make the bat sound like that with a very smooth swing.
i hope he doesnt catch as much when he hit sthe majors. id hate to see him injure those knees of his. his legs are amazingly strong, you can tell by the balance he has with his stride.
brice harpers secret is sooooo easy.... he hits BOMBS ALL THE TIME BECAUSE HIS BACK ELBOW NEVER EVER COMES CLOSE TO HIS BODY. HIS LOAD POSITION IS WITH HIS HANDS BACK AND HIS FOREARM NEVER TOUCHING HIS BICEP AND EVEN THOUGH HE MOVES AROUND HIS HEAD STAYS ON ONE PLAIN THROUGHT THE SWING....ADD ALL OF THAT WITH A LEVEL SWING AND BAT SPEED AND YOU ARE THE NUMBER ONE OVERALL DRAFT PICK....sounds simple
The only thing wrong with moving your back leg like that is the loss of power, which in his case doesn't really. In a sense you want your leg to do that because it means that you are shifting your weight and hitting through the baseball. This kid is a freak and has a great swing!
@Tgroves17 or the way his entire body moves forward. if you pause it you might see his entire weight is on his front leg. if he's amping up to take a monster hack on a 95mph fastball with taht swing and gets a 78mph curveball it could get ugly. not to say he couldnt improve int he future tho
@dean101792 actually, thats bullshit. just because he is out on his front foot a little doesn't mean he doesn't wait and read the pitch. if they throw a 78mph he waits and hits the shit out of it.
@TheBaseballboy8 no it's not bullshit actually. we're u watching the all-american game he was in? 0-4, 3 Ks, ugly Ks i might add. all on good offspeed he was way out in front. he wants to hit fastballs, but if thats all he can hit he wont see any, he'll get 78 mph all day, with incredible movement, which is hard to hit. especially when a guy can also sneak a low-mid 90s fastball by him. but like i said he could improve in the future
@14ognarsie ok dummy. i said RIGHT NOW he has a lot of holes, i also said he could definitely improve. probably in the minors they could straighten him out. but for right now he has too many holes in his swing to hit big league pitching
come on people stop hatting on this guy he has more talent that all the hatters out there together!! no matter what people say that he will fail in the mayor this kid is 17 to 18 years old he is going to continue his development!! so stop hatting he is going to be a first round pick and a millionaire at 18 so were u guys r going to be??? yeah that's what i though
hey hm willow, watch all three of these short clips.
watch?v=Ih6lzd5P-0s
watch?v=4WW5GNGJlDA&feature=related
watch?v=hl4rZ2Jtc3c&feature=related
ok enough said my point is obviously proven. Josh Hamilton, Ken Griffey Jr., and the machine Albert Pujols all drive their knee through the ball so hard that ya THEIR TOES COME UP MOVING FORWARD. Seriously barry bonds is a horrible example because he didnt need picture perfect mechanics because he was already strong enough as it was from roids.
I was going to say the same thing. Looks like he's got a tendency to jump at the ball and takes huge strides, probably becasue he overmatches the velocity of the pitching he's used to seeing. He'll be ok.
you guys are retarded. you're back toe is supposed to come up like that. Every MLB hitter's toe and leg does that because thats how you get the most power into your swing. if you just pivot or "squish the bug" on your back leg you aren't gonna get any leg drive because its just turning. HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GET POWER FROM YOUR LEGS BY JUST PIVOTING. Although his is a little over the top but still it shows that he is aggressive and wants to get the most power possible out of every swing.
Ay yo der Vegas Scout u really don't kno how to be chill cuz bryce not be chillin cuz always be playin ball scout son.. Scout son try next time bryce be swingin put on dat der soljua boy or even da stanky leg.. Bryce learn da stanky leg bryce be hitting change ups o curves but bryce don't kno dis her stankey leg so bryce be missin every time.. yea he got that light tower power but wit da metal bat son in da hall of fame son they use wood u use metal ain't no hall da famer in da mind of crispycob
well everyone has their own technique and comfort zone, his is obviously letting his backfoot come off the ground during his swing, technique may not be "textbook" but it definitely works
This kid has tremendous talent. People need to get off his back. Hes not overrated, so dont say that trying to sounds like youre worth something. Baseball is one of the hardest sports to be successful in, and this kid will do good.
its ridiculous his bat speed is off the charts even in this video despite having a taped bat which is prob adding close to five ounces to the bat it looks like he has a good amount on
Wait back?? That's a good thing dumbass. That's how u fix things. Trusting your hands an letting the ball get deep. You obviously don't play baseball and don't know shit
Lot of talent for such a young guy. I will say one thing though, his swing is very off balance, lot of lunging going on, he needs to tighten that up a bit or good pitchers will take advantage of it. i'm sure as he progresses that issue will be addressed. Very high ceiling for this kid, just needs to keep his head on straight.
i understand what you guys are saying about being out in front, but seriously, he's got a 630 battingg average as a sophmore in highschool, batting against some of the greatest pitchers in highschool tournaments, he has to be good at hitting off speads, because thats practically all pitchers will to throw to him. if you were a pitcher and bryce harper was batting, dont tell me you wouldn't throw all offspeads.
Holy cow you guys... Stop saying that he hits his bombs with a metal bat. Not a single person watching this video can hit a ball 570 feet no matter what bat they are using. And I'm sure he hits quite fine against offspeed pitches because any pitcher would have to be a fool to throw him anything else, and he still dominates. When you work hard enough to be better than he is, then be my guest and hate on him. But until then, just get off his back.
He swings at everything like it's tee ball. Sure, he's way ahead of the curve for a high school player, but he'd better learn how to hit off-speed stuff and breaking balls or he's going to be the second coming of Adam Dunn - not that Dunn isn't good, but he's not a complete hitter.
hes a smart batter so it really doesnt matter if hes hits off his front foot all he has to do it wait when his foot gets out there OR hell recognize the off speed pitch and still hit off his front foot.
not saying he cant hit for power, and im not saying hitting 500 foot homeruns isnt impressive, but 1st off- he hit it 500 feet in homerun derby bp style pitching consistent speed straight fastballs, also he hits of his front foot, change speeds consistently enough with breaking pitches, change ups, split fingers, etc....then hes not a dangerous hitter, no one can beat the game of baseball, no one can be better than the game, the kid is over rated
@glanglois11 you know how many guys did that at a DI college? not at juco, a dI school and didn't do anything in the pros? too many to count, not to say he's not good or won't be, but it's way way way too early to predict anything for bryce harper. baseball is too humbling a sport and the jump from any lower level of competition to the pros is so incredible you can't really predict how much success anyone will have. i still think his huge lunge is going to cause him problems tho as well
@dean101792 Actually Not to many hit 30 Hr's and hit over .450 in DI ,but I know for a fact that none did it at 16. I'm not declaring him the greatest or saying that he's going to be a 10 time all-stat, but the kid has serious potential.
@glanglois11 well some hit 30, not .450 i dont even know if thats what he hit i thought it was around .420 but still, the numbers weren't the point my point was there are so many guys who are "can't miss" superstars before they even get to play, and he's one of these guys who is blown up with nothing to base it upon other than legend, all im sayin is theres a serious chance he might not make it. he very well could be a star as well im just sayin its possible cause no one seems to think so
@dean101792 Again I'm not saying he's an automatic stud, but here's a quick fact. Since 1966, there has been only 4 players drafted #1 overall and not made it to the MLB. That's counting Bryce (2010) and Tim Beckham (2008). That's pretty impressive considering how many bust there are. Now, not all of them are studs but a lot of them are pretty good players and many all-stars. Hey, not saying you don't have an arguement but I guess only time will tell..
@SportyBoy454 ok smartass, if you know anything about baseball mechanics, hitting off your front foot in the way lots of pros and hall of famers do is very differnent than bryce harper does.
This kid is a noob. For one he needs to quit lunging at the ball. At the POC (point odf contact) his back foot isnt even on the ground, come on thats horrible. This kid is gunna live at home and play to computer for the rest of his live. That way he will have time to ponder what he could have been.
he is anything but that any 16 year old with a bat speed of 113 MPh a 94MPH fastball and the longest hit ever in tropicana field is a hundred miles from overrated.
pplschamps325, you couldnt hit them in the head if you tried. and if you did, then next time you threw him a strike he would line it off of your forehead
You guys are fucking dumb asses. If you throw him an off speed pitch, he will still hit the shit out of it because he keeps his hands back. And he clearly has a great eye, so if its shit, then he'll take it.
true this guy is the cockiest mother fucker ever and i paraphrase SI "he lays his bat over the plate and walks up in front of the plate and grabs some dirt then re-enters the batters box", if someone ever did that shit to me their dome is gunna get busted.
wait until he gets into the minor leagues and starts seeing more breaking pitches like sliders and spilt fingers...he wont be such a prodigy then will he?
He plays against the highest level talent there is during the summer and fall...like wood bat leagues such as Area Code which feature only the best players in the country
almost as good as me

holy crap he's trying to KILL that ball. obviously showing off for the camera. he's still a hell of a player with tremendous upside. can't wait to see him face some real pitching.

zschell510 1 year ago
Biggest sports teen since lebron!!! And no one go around thinking he'll hit 60 homers, my guess is he'll hit about .335 with 35 Hr and 35 stolen bases. I'm a scout in the St. Louis Cardinals orginization on my son's YouTube account. If seen a lot of "Can't miss prospects" and only about 30% actually don't miss and Bryce Harper is one of 'em!
airsoftguy20 1 year ago
right now in college he's hitting 403. with 7 bombs..
seanbenton10 1 year ago
he's moving around alot, but listen to the bat when it hits the ball. Sounds like a gun shot. Compare this to the video of shane victorino. Victorino doesnt even look like hes swinging and it sounds like thunder. I'm sure that as Harper gets better and better, hes going to be able to make the bat sound like that with a very smooth swing.

nice! he is the best player
hockeyfan202 1 year ago
i hope he doesnt catch as much when he hit sthe majors. id hate to see him injure those knees of his. his legs are amazingly strong, you can tell by the balance he has with his stride.

brice harpers secret is sooooo easy.... he hits BOMBS ALL THE TIME BECAUSE HIS BACK ELBOW NEVER EVER COMES CLOSE TO HIS BODY. HIS LOAD POSITION IS WITH HIS HANDS BACK AND HIS FOREARM NEVER TOUCHING HIS BICEP AND EVEN THOUGH HE MOVES AROUND HIS HEAD STAYS ON ONE PLAIN THROUGHT THE SWING....ADD ALL OF THAT WITH A LEVEL SWING AND BAT SPEED AND YOU ARE THE NUMBER ONE OVERALL DRAFT PICK....sounds simple
moscos6 2 years ago
The only thing wrong with moving your back leg like that is the loss of power, which in his case doesn't really. In a sense you want your leg to do that because it means that you are shifting your weight and hitting through the baseball. This kid is a freak and has a great swing!
pbnumber5 2 years ago
his swing mechanics are really good but shouldn't people be somewhat concerned with the way his back leg travels forward?
Tgroves17 2 years ago
@Tgroves17 or the way his entire body moves forward. if you pause it you might see his entire weight is on his front leg. if he's amping up to take a monster hack on a 95mph fastball with taht swing and gets a 78mph curveball it could get ugly. not to say he couldnt improve int he future tho
dean101792 1 year ago
@dean101792 actually, thats bullshit. just because he is out on his front foot a little doesn't mean he doesn't wait and read the pitch. if they throw a 78mph he waits and hits the shit out of it.
TheBaseballboy8 1 year ago
@TheBaseballboy8 no it's not bullshit actually. we're u watching the all-american game he was in? 0-4, 3 Ks, ugly Ks i might add. all on good offspeed he was way out in front. he wants to hit fastballs, but if thats all he can hit he wont see any, he'll get 78 mph all day, with incredible movement, which is hard to hit. especially when a guy can also sneak a low-mid 90s fastball by him. but like i said he could improve in the future
dean101792 1 year ago
@dean101792 DATS WAT M MINOR LEAGUES FOR .. PPL GET BETTER OVER TIME DUMMY
14ognarsie 1 year ago
@14ognarsie ok dummy. i said RIGHT NOW he has a lot of holes, i also said he could definitely improve. probably in the minors they could straighten him out. but for right now he has too many holes in his swing to hit big league pitching
dean101792 1 year ago
@dean101792 oh i see what your saying. but he could still wait on a off speed pitch and hit it on his front side

watch?v=hl4rZ2Jtc3c&feature=related
ok enough said my point is obviously proven.
Oakl3yb0y 2 years ago
Only thing he will have to change in the pros is having to shorten his swing. It very long hence the long long ball he hits.
bhunter11 2 years ago
@bhunter11... I agree. All it takes is a good change up or curveball to throw him off balance.
espy79 2 years ago
I was going to say the same thing. Looks like he's got a tendency to jump at the ball and takes huge strides, probably becasue he overmatches the velocity of the pitching he's used to seeing. He'll be ok.
MrYahoost 2 years ago 7
@MrYahoost Okay? num 1 draft pic as a 17 year old maybe one of the best prospects of all time? yeh he'll be okay.
BuiltHordeTough 1 year ago
you guys are retarded. you're back toe is supposed to come up like that.
Oakl3yb0y 2 years ago
Ay yo der Vegas Scout u really don't kno how to be chill cuz bryce not be chillin cuz always be playin ball scout son.. crispycob 2 years ago
look at his back foot. his back foot leaves the ground while swinging, rather than planting it. very bad swing.
look at that little kid with grey shirt in the background, his backfoot is planted during swinging. that kid knows how to swing.
hmwillow 2 years ago
well everyone has their own technique and comfort zone, his is obviously letting his backfoot come off the ground during his swing, technique may not be "textbook" but it definitely works
eastcoastprodigy3234 2 years ago
@hmwillow your absolutely right. you probably played 3 years of Little League. that qualifies you to break down his swing
ahhota2073 2 years ago
oh ok, maybe i should have just said, "oh this guy has the most perfect swing in the entire world. he will be the next bonds". fagget.
hmwillow 2 years ago
everything Oakl3yb0y said is correct. maybe thats why you weren't picked for the all-star game when you were 12?and the proper vernacular is gay
ahhota2073 2 years ago
This kid has tremendous talent. People need to get off his back. Hes not overrated, so dont say that trying to sounds like youre worth something. Baseball is one of the hardest sports to be successful in, and this kid will do good.
trevdude007 2 years ago
its ridiculous his bat speed is off the charts even in this video despite having a taped bat which is prob adding close to five ounces to the bat it looks like he has a good amount on

Rzraxe 2 years ago
Lot of talent for such a young guy. I will say one thing though, his swing is very off balance, lot of lunging going on, he needs to tighten that up a bit or good pitchers will take advantage of it. i'm sure as he progresses that issue will be addressed. Very high ceiling for this kid, just needs to keep his head on straight.
globehead23 2 years ago
i understand what you guys are saying about being out in front, but seriously, he's got a 630 battingg average as a sophmore in highschool, batting against some of the greatest pitchers in highschool tournaments, he has to be good at hitting off speads, because thats practically all pitchers will to throw to him. if you were a pitcher and bryce harper was batting, dont tell me you wouldn't throw all offspeads.
notsoemokidjr 2 years ago
Holy cow you guys... Stop saying that he hits his bombs with a metal bat. Not a single person watching this video can hit a ball 570 feet no matter what bat they are using. And I'm sure he hits quite fine against offspeed pitches because any pitcher would have to be a fool to throw him anything else, and he still dominates. When you work hard enough to be better than he is, then be my guest and hate on him. But until then, just get off his back.
bballer7269272692 2 years ago
He swings at everything like it's tee ball. Sure, he's way ahead of the curve for a high school player, but he'd better learn how to hit off-speed stuff and breaking balls or he's going to be the second coming of Adam Dunn - not that Dunn isn't good, but he's not a complete hitter.
simontrent1475 2 years ago
hes got a weird stance. but he sure hits the ball hard
willwyne 2 years ago
The little kids in the back are better lol
jk, I cant believe how hard he swings. He is just a pure hitter
baseballer0848 2 years ago
hes a smart batter so it really doesnt matter if hes hits off his front foot all he has to do it wait when his foot gets out there OR hell recognize the off speed pitch and still hit off his front foot.

he hits off his front foot so a good curveball would burn him

lankanboy28 2 years ago
not saying he cant hit for power, and im not saying hitting 500 foot homeruns isnt impressive, but 1st off- he hit it 500 feet in homerun derby bp style pitching consistent speed straight fastballs, also he hits of his front foot, change speeds consistently enough with breaking pitches, change ups, split fingers, etc....then hes not a dangerous hitter, no one can beat the game of baseball, no one can be better than the game, the kid is over rated
mattrightnow 2 years ago 5
@mattrightnow The kid hit over .440 with 29 homeruns using a wood bat in college. He's also only 17. Doesn't sound overrated to me...
glanglois11 1 year ago
@glanglois11 you know how many guys did that at a DI college? not at juco, a dI school and didn't do anything in the pros? too many to count, not to say he's not good or won't be, but it's way way way too early to predict anything for bryce harper. baseball is too humbling a sport and the jump from any lower level of competition to the pros is so incredible you can't really predict how much success anyone will have. i still think his huge lunge is going to cause him problems tho as well
dean101792 1 year ago
@dean101792 Actually Not to many hit 30 Hr's and hit over .450 in DI ,but I know for a fact that none did it at 16. I'm not declaring him the greatest or saying that he's going to be a 10 time all-stat, but the kid has serious potential.
glanglois11 1 year ago
@glanglois11 well some hit 30, not .450 i dont even know if thats what he hit i thought it was around .420 but still, the numbers weren't the point my point was there are so many guys who are "can't miss" superstars before they even get to play, and he's one of these guys who is blown up with nothing to base it upon other than legend, all im sayin is theres a serious chance he might not make it. he very well could be a star as well im just sayin its possible cause no one seems to think so
dean101792 1 year ago
@dean101792 Again I'm not saying he's an automatic stud, but here's a quick fact. Since 1966, there has been only 4 players drafted #1 overall and not made it to the MLB. That's counting Bryce (2010) and Tim Beckham (2008). That's pretty impressive considering how many bust there are. Now, not all of them are studs but a lot of them are pretty good players and many all-stars. Hey, not saying you don't have an arguement but I guess only time will tell..
glanglois11 1 year ago
yeah it could go either way i'm just sayin people tend to fail to realize that there is a chance he could not pan out
dean101792 1 year ago
@mattrightnow and he hit a 570 footer as a 15 year old freshman in high school, you're just a hater. you just have to appreciate talent like this.
Resare305 1 year ago
@Resare305 look i didnt say I was better than him or that he isnt talented. i said he is over rated and i stand by that
mattrightnow 1 year ago
@mattrightnow A lot of players in the MLB hit off their front foot..
HelloImMateo 1 year ago
@mattrightnow Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, and many others "hit off there front foot". I think they did alright considering they are in the hall of fame.
SportyBoy454 1 year ago
@SportyBoy454 ok smartass, if you know anything about baseball mechanics, hitting off your front foot in the way lots of pros and hall of famers do is very differnent than bryce harper does.
mattrightnow 1 year ago
@mattrightnow Ok, please explain to me the difference then, because I MUST be missing something here.
SportyBoy454 1 year ago
he dosnt lunge at the ball it is his batting stance that makes it loook like he does
Jellyfish715 2 years ago
ill take that kid in the back in the green shirt over him
queenzphinest 2 years ago
This kid is a noob. For one he needs to quit lunging at the ball. At the POC (point odf contact) his back foot isnt even on the ground, come on thats horrible. This kid is gunna live at home and play to computer for the rest of his live. That way he will have time to ponder what he could have been.
