You are so brave! I would never be able to do this. When I was younger, I used to have a little one going on. Of course I would be teased a little. I had alot of self confiadance. I started using hydro peroxide on it, and throughout the years, you can't see it. Basically,it just got bleached.

OMG this relates to me..I'm 13yrs old right now and i shaved when i was like 12 or 11 because i saw blonde hairs lol but now i feel ugly and depressed..theres like a greenish shadow on my upperlip. @hunnibrowne - I don't think you look like a man, however, I think you should shave it off. I grow facial hair too...chin hairs, unibrow, and a light mustache that isn't very noticeable. I hate it. I shave my unibrow and mustache, and I tweeze my chin hairs. I just found out about Spearmint Tea helping with hirsutism. I am thinking about trying this tea. You should try it too. I prefer a minimum of body hair on a lady. I went out with a really nice Italian girl one time and, the second she rolled up her sleeves, I had to fight to carry on the date. Her arm hair was dark and lush, like a tropical rain forrest. I feel bad, but I never talked with her again. If a lady chooses to maintain an amount of body hair that's not generally accepted by society, that's her call. Just don't expect society to find it beautiful.

I suffer from PCO(S), which means it is very difficult for me to get pregnant. My ovaries developped cysts due to a hormon disorder coming from my adrenal gland that produces to many male hormons. I suffer from hirsutism (hair on my chin. chest, stomach and legs), acne and hair loss. I am a rather slim woman without weight, insuline or sugar issues. I have to take birth controll pills and another medication to get my peridode on a regular basis as well as to fight against the hair problem.

I feel so admiring of you for putting this topic out there. I think you are a beautiful woman. If it were me, I'd probably wax it off, but what's that got to do with anything? I try to make myself match my own personal standards of beauty so I feel good about myself, and those won't necessarily match what other people think. Nor will your decisions. I had a talk once with my psychology professor about women and hair removal. It was really interesting. See who really says that females are required to shave their face/ underarms/ legs/ and bikini area?? Women are seen as dirty or masculine if they don't shave, but why? It's society. If girls are required to shave then why aren't guys? What girl seriously likes a guy's pit hair? A lot of guys get all turned off if the bikini area isn't properly shaved, but many men have a jungle down there!

i get a mustache sometimes but i just shave it or wax... but wax leaves the skin raw and red where as shaving only takes a minute and lasts almost a week (for me)

Well, I think you should do what makes you feel comfortable. I have a slight mustache with more hair on the edges and I've noticed I have a few hairs under my chin sort of closer to my neck but I pluck those now my fiance tells me not to cut it because it will make it thicker, but I like my stache I think its sexy... and it doesn't stop anyone from holla'n. i grew one or it while on steroids(medical reasons) and my baby daddy used to teased me. ppl used to tell me not to shave it 'cause it might grow back worst(darker and fuller) try to gather money and do a laser treatment. mine went away after i stoped taking prednisone(steroids) but my hair fell off, now is growing back. If you decide to remove it DO NOT shave it b/c it will grow back thicker The best option for you are waxing, threading, or an epicare tool which is $10-15 Waxing hurts the first time but its so quick. Threading is similar to twezzing, but in a quicker way using a thread. Epicare is the same as threading, just with a different tool. Remove if uncomfortable but if you love who God made you then keep it. Women are UNnaturally trained to remove hair by society so its their problem not yours :)
but although I remove the hair the texture of my skin there looks like I shave at least from my view point. I think people do stare at it and wonder why it looks that way, but people still say that I am pretty all the time. I guess those compliments let me know that i'm still girly although I have it. I just cope with and use makeup to cover the discoloration I have. I feel like its part of my personality too.

Wow!! Your confessions and realness has made me feel better about having a mustache. Its something that I think about on a daily basis even though I know I shouldn't. Well I think starting in 5th or 6th grade a started shaving it and off course after a while it became noticeable that I shaved by the color of my skin and the texture. So I switched to hair removal creams which damaged the skin, so now I have some wrinkles there that I get self conscious about. So now I thread it.....

You know what? Most women would probably wax it. But most women also wear fake nails and glued in hair and all kinds of stuff! I prefer a minimum of body hair on a lady. I went out with a really nice Italian girl one time and, the second she rolled up her sleeves, I had to fight to carry on the date. Her arm hair was dark and lush, like a tropical rain forrest. I feel bad, but I never talked with her again. If a lady chooses to maintain an amount of body hair that's not generally accepted by society, that's her call. Just don't expect society to find it beautiful.

I suffer from PCO(S), which means it is very difficult for me to get pregnant. My ovaries developped cysts due to a hormon disorder coming from my adrenal gland that produces to many male hormons. I suffer from hirsutism (hair on my chin. chest, stomach and legs), acne and hair loss. I am a rather slim woman without weight, insuline or sugar issues. I have to take birth controll pills and another medication to get my peridode on a regular basis as well as to fight against the hair problem.

I am in high school now and of course i shave my legs and do my eyebrows, but my mustache has always been a sensitive topic for me. I have always been self concious to the point that when someone talks to me i dont look at them because im afraid they would notice the hair. I had a talk once with my psychology professor about women and hair removal. It was really interesting. See who really says that females are required to shave their face/ underarms/ legs/ and bikini area?? Women are seen as dirty or masculine if they don't shave, but why? It's society. If girls are required to shave then why aren't guys? What girl seriously likes a guy's pit hair? A lot of guys get all turned off if the bikini area isn't properly shaved, but many men have a jungle down there!

Well, I think you should do what makes you feel comfortable. I have a slight mustache with more hair on the edges and I've noticed I have a few hairs under my chin sort of closer to my neck but I pluck those now my fiance tells me not to cut it because it will make it thicker, but I like my stache I think its sexy... and it doesn't stop anyone from holla'n. i grew one or it while on steroids(medical reasons) and my baby daddy used to teased me. ppl used to tell me not to shave it 'cause it might grow back worst(darker and fuller) try to gather money and do a laser treatment. mine went away after i stoped taking prednisone(steroids) but my hair fell off, now is growing back. If you decide to remove it DO NOT shave it b/c it will grow back thicker The best option for you are waxing, threading, or an epicare tool which is $10-15 Waxing hurts the first time but its so quick. Threading is similar to twezzing, but in a quicker way using a thread. Epicare is the same as threading, just with a different tool. Remove if uncomfortable but if you love who God made you then keep it. Women are UNnaturally trained to remove hair by society so its their problem not yours :)

but although I remove the hair the texture of my skin there looks like I shave at least from my view point. I think people do stare at it and wonder why it looks that way, but people still say that I am pretty all the time. I guess those compliments let me know that i'm still girly although I have it. I just cope with and use makeup to cover the discoloration I have. I feel like its part of my personality too.

Wow!! Your confessions and realness has made me feel better about having a mustache. Its something that I think about on a daily basis even though I know I shouldn't. Well I think starting in 5th or 6th grade a started shaving it and off course after a while it became noticeable that I shaved by the color of my skin and the texture. So I switched to hair removal creams which damaged the skin, so now I have some wrinkles there that I get self conscious about. So now I thread it.....
