I have a hunch this is a remix of that. Since Sonic 4 blended elements from all 1, 2, 3, & K, I wouldn't be surprised if they took something from this game too.
this is my least fav stage cause its anooying with all the spikes that i hav to tap jump so i don't get spiked and the paths make me lost so im stuck at the place :( but i didn't say i hated it i like all sonic levels :)
strangely, i had a dream where killer clowns were takin' over the world and this was playing. i didnt know what song it was but i randomly played sonic 3d the next day and i was like "WTF!? DRWAM MUSIC"
The boss for this level always scared me as a kid, I think it was the multicolored paws that descended upon Sonic and made that crashing noise. Like the stage though, brings back a lot of good memories.
The rusty ruins boss did have paws, but so did this levels boss. That one was stationary and this one moved about. Your thinking of green groves boss.
What I was saying, though, is while I was listening to this song (Spring Stadium Zone), I was reminded of an earlier Sonic song. When I read your comment, I realized exactly which one it was that it reminded me of. I already knew which Sonic game Casino Night Zone is from... I only played Sonic 2 profusely the moment we got the game. XP

Three things:
1. 8 - bit game? There was only one first game of Sonic the Hedgehog and that was on the Sega Genesis which was a 16 - bit system. So sorry, you're wrong on that account.
2. There was no Jungle Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog. The zones were as follows:
Green Hill Zone
Marble Zone
Spring Yard Zone
Labyrinth Zone
Star Light Zone
Scrap Brain Zone
3. Pay closer attention to this song and then play Casino Night Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 directly after to listening to this.
dude ! im talking about sonic 1 on master system and game gear. OMG dont tell me you dont know it ?! review your classics please, and follow that link to listen to Jungle Zone misuc
No actually you're the one that is wrong. Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 and Sonic Chaos were on the Sega Master System and Game Gear which were both 8-bit. They weren't the same as the Mega Drive (Genesis) versions though
Thank you so much! I was actually thinking that it was very reminiscent of an earlier Sonic level (like 2 or 3) and you helped me remember which one! lol
Sounds like Casino Night Zone

Hear the part at 0:59 ? Why does it mess up like that? It's not just the video...it was in the game, as well.

I think that's supposed to be apart of the song.

well it definitely sounds like a screw dued. I gues just an accidental note placement.
Also, this sounds like a combined mixture of Casino Night, and Jungle Zone....or is it? jk
