  • If this wasn't done to promote budwiesser, why did they put their company name anywhere in there? This is nothing more than a company profiting off a tradgedy.

  • @magplad not really, if you only air an ad once of that professional quality, they probably lost money.

  • @magplad Thank you

  • @rafooosh It was aired live once, as a non-profit commercail. They were just honoring the day. Im fairly certain it was aired at 8:47 on abc. and thats it.

  • budweiser usually keeps their commercials as classy as a beer commercial can get and i think think is one of my favorites.

  • Think about the people that drink budweiser. Who likes budweiser? I think it was done in good taste.

  • @CoronaTheFatCat Everything a company does is to promote itself. I honestly can see how this would come across as having good intentions, but at the same time, you're a beer company, stick to beer, don't try to make a commercial that is "honoring" 9/11 when it's obvious all you're doing is trying to manipulate people into liking you.

  • Classy. No real profit for Bud, but can guess, lots of production expense. This Bud's for you...Cheers to a company with guts AND heart.

  • @CoronaTheFatCat The don't put your logo on it. Credit it as a short film.

  • @MrFlowers101 You really just can't appreciate that they tried to make a special tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11. Either enjoy this wonderful tribute, or don't say anything. The people who disliked it are probably people who believe it was a conspiracy.

  • @CoronaTheFatCat I live in the New York Area and I don't believe it was conspiracy, in fact people who believe so are and never will be friends of me but if people really believe Budwiser would put something out like this without monetary gain involved is very naive. Budwiser might have done it to commemorate 9/11, but they did so with the intention of taking advantage of the 9/11 demographic. Advertising is about appealing to the widest amount of people, and they took 9/11 $ commercialized it

  • There no profit making outta of this commecial its just there way of paying respect to the 9/11 attacks and the people who died and risked there lives to save people and to deture the attacks such as flight 97. No one is going to rush to the store to buy a case of budwieser over a 9/11 trubute. If you think other wise, you need to remember 9/11 can you remeber that day?

  • My old enemy

    240p

  • God I hate sentimentality! That was nauseating.

  • Would someone please explain to me. How Budweiser profited off this commercial. It looks to me like 22 or even 32 people totally missed the point.

  • Trying to profit off of a tragedy? Yeah, this commercial will make millions of people rush to the store and buy a case of Budweiser right now! Very fitting and classy tribute, I think......

  • @kevinj813 There not trying to make a profit you looser this only aired once. there showing there respect.

  • @17clubpenguin17 Don't know what you're talking about; I thought it was a perfect tribute. Go back and re-read my comment, maybe after 5 or 6 times you'll finally understand what I'm saying.....

  • I can't belive people are arguing about this commercial. Just stfu and enjoy it, think of the ones still here and the ones lost. It's about remembering. There isn't anyone drinkning beer, It aired once. You can't possibly make money off something being aired once. I think it's a beautiful commericial, makes me cry every time!

  • Awesome. So poignant - absolutely nothing to be offended about... Budweiser, I'm very impressed. You obviously just meant to send a heartfelt message, and not sell beer. Good for you!!

  • Budweiser is good and btw guys your thinking of this so negatively you really think they meant the message to appeal to you like this originally? Hell no it just came out wrong

  • omg!! are you really that stupid???? it aired only once! how can they make money off of it? and what did YOU do to honour all those lost on that day? Say no more, not needed.

  • Awful. Madison Avenue should be fired for this silly nonsense. Good luck with your failing beer brand.

  • Who are they honouring? A beer company shouldn't use the death of my friend's brother to make a profit.

  • @syncrosk8n1 There not! This only was played once on TV. There showing respect!

  • This video, and these positive comments are what makes me lose hope in America. This video was capitalizing off the tragedy of thousands, not honoring them.

  • Awesome job Budwiser! I now have goosebumps... Very impressed

  • Oh for crying out loud! All you poor, miserable, mindless complainers who constantly carry on about how horrible and supposedly immoral businesses and corporations are! Here they are offering a classy, touching tribute, and you STILL can do nothing but whine. I do not envy you your cynicism! But can't you please keep it to yourselves and not try to infect the rest of us with it.

Well done, Budweiser. This "thank you" is for you.

  • @NorthernBelleAK I don't care how classy and touching you think this video is -- its still using the emotions of Americans at a very tragic time in our collective lives to SELL BEER. At the end, they still show the Budweiser logo, and the commercial still features the Budweiser horses. They are playing with and disrespecting 9/11 so that they can make a profit.

  • How is this 9/11???

  • Beautiful and touching

  • "R.I.P. the 2,976 American people that lost their lives on 9/11 and R.I.P. the 48,644 Afghan and 1,690,903 Iraqi people that paid the ultimate price for a crime

    they did not commit."

  • @DentistD1G yae they did commit a crime...they let or didnt try to stop terrorists from committing horrible acts of violence against innocent blood....military or civilian...you seem to forget that the oridinary people in these countries are the fuel for the fire of these international terrorist groups...main focus of recruitment...and those that arent actually in it....back them up in sentimental ways...so dont honor middle eastern deaths..they didnt all die on 9/11 anyway lmao

  • @luckypapi87 So basically you're saying that, if there was a group of people in America who made secret plans to destroy a whole city in another country, anyone in America who wasn't a part of that group would be to blame? It would be okay for that country to retaliate and kill even innocent you? Innocent children?

It really helps to look at things from all angles. Helps prevent making a mess of things.

  • @luckypapi87 latest surveys say :92% of afghans out side of kabul don't even know what is 9/11.belive it or not education and sharing info , isn't talebans way

iraq ppl are just fighting off an invader , they told america they don't have WMD for 10 years , yet america still invaded and destroyed the countery , and as a result the richest country in the region with oil , doesn't have electricity or running water , BUT oil field are running 100% and pumping free oi; to US army

  • @DentistD1G yea..you quote some stat and don't even say where did you get it from ..so whats the resource? ...and what do you mean they afghani people dont know? thats why for even this years 10th anniversary of 9/11 they were celebrating the death of 3000 people who didnt deserve to die and were even having anti american riots and demonstrations in the arab world.. so even if the taliban doesnt tell them anything..they still know..so what you say is a lie...and iraqi people should be living

  • @DentistD1G rich ....filthy rich if it wasnt for their greedy dictator who was so selfish to not share the wealth but kill them just for being there..saddam hussein ..so he could have held the US's share of the oil ransom and for hostage..so we went there to secure our share....remember we've done trading agreements in the past with him and he was always a bully with that..and we're the richest nation on the planet...what do we need with M.E oil??? cmon..its just an excuse to hate the US..

  • @luckypapi87 the ppl could have taken him out , as many are doing now in the middle east .

what do you need with oil? just look at the gas price ,you'll have the answer, you was rich my boy , you aint rich now , you owe everything to every1 .

saddam didn't trade with you , you gave him wep ,tanks ,air force in exchange to take iran out (witch did no hostile action against you , just democracy and freedom not cool when others have them ), the result : america created a dictator, and IRAN

  • @luckypapi87 also saddam killed 300,000 ppl , (including 2 civil wars) , you killed 1mill, and started a race war, and what pissed ppl off the most is , thet gov you appointed had an Internationally wanted criminal , Jallabie was wanted for financial crimes in few countries , he didn't last for long , but it shows Americas intention in simply stealing some free oil and creating a new dictatorship.

btw , america supported all the dictators that you hear about them falling down now ;)

  • @DentistD1G lies all lies....all you american haters..its always hate america time cuz its always america's fault for the world's problems right?.....i think you american haters say that out of jealousy. america never supported any dictators ever.....lie....america started what war? we've only been around for 400 yrs and never once started a war...and what race war?....nobody has died over that theres racism in every country worse elsewhere than here....

  • @luckypapi87 i wont tell to take a history class ( world history ) , but you can google it and find out what your bush-obama gov say about mubarak , bin ali , even gaddafie after 2003 , you go find out what regan say about the mujahdeen in afghanstan, and raigan most famous foreign policy quote was about saddam hussain "he is a son of a bitch but he is OUR son of a bitch " ,

only in america slavery was about a race , in the old world a slave was any1 who couldn't run fast in a war

  • glory789,

Or of course 22 people who think it may be inappropriate for a corporation to show this tribute in the form of a commercial selling beer... (Though I do think it was pretty well made, no cause for any major offense... but maybe you want just a little bit to far there).

  • No matter how pretty this commercial is, they are still using a tragedy to make money. More people died on 9/11 then on Pearl Harbor Day and you're going to try and sell beer by "memorializing" it in a commercial? Not tasteful. 9/11 has NOTHING to do with beer people.

  • Thanks so much. Margo, Dragoon Morgans

  • really classy.... cashing in on a tragedy to advertise your beer

Big one of adverts are for world sports events, bank holidays, that sort of thing; not days of sadness and remembrance.

  • They score a tremendous winner again.....

  • I see there were dislikes...are u freaking crazy? What's to dislike. Love it very much thumbs up

  • As usual, Bud comes through. They always create meaningful comercials.

  • Just watched this commercial on the History Channel. I loved it :)

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone else see this as just a way to sell beer? Seriously why do you think it only aired once. Why do you have to put the name of your product at the end of a 9/11 tribute? Come on people this is just fucking horrible.

  • @themetal666ful You want to make money with a commercial, you run it hound reds of times... Bud ran it for a total of a dozen times split between 2 days a decade apart.

  • So beautiful and touching!

  • I just saw it on tv during the cowboys-jets game at half time. it is a beautiful video.

  • These horses are presented as such proud animals - seeing them give their respects to the victims of these attacks is extremely moving.

  • Cornygirl2008, please let me know when you want to leave. I will personally buy you a one way ticket out of America with the provision that you will never return. In no way shape or form am I joking.

  • Beautiful tribute indeed.

  • I just saw this today and I thought it was the most beautiful tribute. Well-from a animal perspective, I just cried ):

  • Where are the CGI tears Budweiser???

  • Comment removed

  • It is a good commercial, very solemn. But wouldn't it have been even better if they took those millions of dollars spent on that commercial and donated it to the families of the 9 11 victims? Instead of trying to capitalize on on the tragedy...

  • @clearkaos this commercial was purposely only aired once because budwiser just wanted to acknowledge the tragedy and not benefit financially from it...

  • @missahhkneetah actually it aired multiple times on multiple channels. They had a long version and a short version. And I saw the commercial twice on CBS and once on FOX. And since I was flipping between channels I wouldn't doubt I missed it more than that. I don't have a problem with the commercial, it was good really. But I think there are better ways that money could have been spent to support the victims, survivors and rescue personnel. Just my opinion is all.

  • I dont see anyone saying anything negative about the victims of 911, the only negative comments I see are towards this being a beer commercial. Are morons retarded or what? It seems as if you want the negative comments to be about the victims.

  • OMG that was awesome. I sit here in tears. The senseless loss of life is just so horrific. And for Budweiser to make such a beautiful tribute is a wonderful thing.

  • @BJJ1553 - Thousands of people died in one spot, at one time, for no reason, right here in our lifetime. I don't intend to ever get over it.

  • @1bronzino you're replying to the wrong person. "italbello6t9" is the one who said to get over it

  • im lucky to have a brother whose a firefighter <3

  • Where are all the holocaust commercials?

  • @italbello6t9 the holocaust happened almost 80 years ago. What does that have to do with this??

  • @BJJ1553 Making a point as to how long it is going to be before people start to move on. It was 10 years ago, it was horrible (certainly not the worst though), hope it never happens again, but get over it.

  • @italbello6t9 you tell someone who lost a family member or loved one in the attacks to "get over it"... You're just trolling.

  • @italbello6t9 I hope to God we never get over it!! If we forget then all those people died in vain!!

  • @MomV56 Getting over something is completely different than forgetting. A parent finally getting rid of a dead child's room is getting over their death, it doesn't mean they have forgotten the loss or have forgotten their child. They just can't keep a 5 year old's room in their house forever.

I'm making the assumption that you don't commemorate the holocaust, killings of General Mao and Stalin, or any current genocide going on in Africa. Does that mean that you have forgotten the holocaust?

  • WHO SAW THE NEW ONE THEY JUST AIRED!!!???? amazing! USA!

  • They spent 100,000's of thousands of dollars to show this only once. Not for profit or company gain, but to express the sorrow they felt. As for the subhuman monsters that think 9/11 is some kind of joke, well I can't use those words here. The loss for all the faimilys of those who died that day is more than our hearts can stand. Condolences, from me and mine, to all of you. My God be with you aways.

  • @1947gambler Not only once anymore, they're showing it several times today during NFL games. They spent 100,000's of dollars because its a can't miss commercial that exploits a national tragedy to sell their product.

  • This commercial was just edited and rebroadcast across every NFL game, with the snow edited out, and the Freedom Tower under construction edited in. It is truly beautiful.

  • Falcons-Bears game too! Totally most Awesome commercial from Budweiser Ever!

  • just saw 10th anniversery on bears game

  • @faithfultrout it was on the Rams game too!

  • @faithfultrout yeah that was cool

  • just saw a 10th anniversary one on the chiefs game

  • I am going to play a couple of rounds of Jenga today.

  • @MrPaul7211 Your a sick vindictive fuck

  • This is a class act!!!! Bravo Budweiser!!

  • to everyone that can see this isnt just a BEER COMMERCIAL and that its a tribute to all the victoms on the plane, police officers, firemen and countless voluteers who lost their lives and thier family's God bless you to the rest of you fuckin unpatrioticheartless basterds you SUCK, im a firefighter and i wasnt even old enough to understand the impact of this when it happend but it still hurts to think about all the fellow brothers i lost if your smat enough to understand that then FUCKIN LEAVE

  • Progothinko, or whatever your name is...leave the country boss! No loss of life is a joke!!! Keep your BS comments to yourself!

  • ....amazing...it should have been aired more then once

  • Now this its call a tearjerker, will you please excuse me? I cant stop crying.....

  • Every time I see this, I get a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. Something about the sadness of the memory and the nobility of horses...

  • They only showed this once because they didn't want to profit from that terrible day. Its a beautiful piece. My heart still goes out to all who lost a loved on that day. Ozzie162--don't let the few cynical idiots take away from the millions of us who honor your father and his bravery and care about your loss.

  • Wish i could Like this millions of times!!

25 dislikes... you guys are idiots!!!!!!! You better not be Americans!

  • thats a commercial to love

  • These horses are pampered and well trained but horses in general can feel our pain and can tell something is wrong.

  • I really pity those poor cynical souls who look for darkness behind every silver lining , really you fools think for one second how little you really know about film and it's production , the likelihood of manipulative conspiracy is so far fetched that the production company and all it's constituents and affiliates had to be involved, not ! No way without leaking out such intel...this kind of pathological thinking is what's destroying America from the inside out not outside attacks

  • Wow. Everyone here claiming that they attempted to 'sell their image' needs to grow up. Many, many American's grew up seeing the Budweiser Clydesdale's - the message was always three things. American, Beer, and American Beer. This piece, to me, represents a sympathy card to America. And as we all know, you don't give someone a blank card, you sign it. Ditch your piss poor attitudes, people. You may find it's a decent world when you stop giving things a double meaning.

  • Budweiser is watery swill, and this ad is disgusting. Craft beer ftw.

  • These commercials are unreal... there is nothing that they wont try and manipulate....

  • @Ermal8711 its about the message not what they are trying to manipulate.

  • @saralynn626 No its not, its about appealing to the people by manipulation of messages. It is trying to create a picture of the corporation as a comforting complex that is there with the people. Its the epitome of manipulation. They simply used a moment of nationalism as a way to sell themselves. Its one of the cheapest ways in which corporations can sell their image.

  • @Ermal8711 you are wrong

  • this makes me cry everytime i watch it. its just beautiful

  • Only one word to say about this (sad)

  • 22 members Al Qaeda didn't like this video.

  • 22 heartless jerks voted

  • those horses live a better life than the majority of people

  • Way to capitalize on people's emotions, Budweiser.

  • AMERICA FIRST ISRAEL LAST. ZIONISTS ARE

    PARASITES.

  • @fightrerrrr You're ugly.

  • respect done very well.... thank you

  • Propaganda. Meanwhile Bin Ladan still out there, and no one is even looking for him anymore. Whole war on terror is a joke. They just used it to steal Iraq's oil for international oil companies who could give a flying crap about the USA.

  • @Zaxxen69 yeah, way to call that one numb nuts. You do realize that Iraq only contributes 3% of US oil supply right? Some people are just stupid all the time I guess.

  • @wgrinstead YOU THINK THE OIL CORPORATIONS OR THE USA GOVERNMETN ACTUALLY CARES BOUT THE USA??? NO SCREENSHOT NEVER HAPPENED. BURIED AT SEA!

  • Deaths per year with Alcohol as a contributing factor: 75,000

    9/11 Deaths: 3,000

  • It was amazing. So much class.

  • Very classy, Budweiser. A very moving tribute. I didn't know anyone in the towers, but my heart will ache forever for the innocent lives lost.

  • who is budweiser? a szecho-slow-a-kian horse carriage manufacturer?

  • Never was big on all the 9-11 flag waving, wring it for all it's got stuff, but I must say this commercial is nothing but class on Budweiser's part. Not a word is spoken, the horses say it all

  • Coming from America and New York, this is the most touching commercial ever made. Always remember the people from The Pentagon and Flight 93 also who took of from Newark looking out at the World Trade Center. I flew out of Newark on 9/10/2001 and I will always remember seeing the WTC for the last time but not knowing it.

  • 19 people drink Coors.

  • man wats wrong withb these 19 ppl i think there terroist

  • Everytime I see this my eyes fill up! Very beautiful tribute to the fallen innocents of 9/11.

  • @fairgirl7 nice to know iam not the only one...... cant really say why but it deff, feels like a kick to the gut when i see it

  • To those who THINK this is cruel or wrong,, I would like to ask what you were feeling on the day of 911. Were we cruel to Pray for the fallen and the families? Were you Praying? Was there any tears in your eyes? Well to be honest I really doubt all the above? To the ones who said Budweiser did this to make Money they are whacked out!! They like the rest of us that DID feel the hurt the pain the fear of 911 was only showing their grief and concerns!! OMG Idiots putting this video down JUST MOVE

  • it drives me crazy that the dumb people keep referring to this as a beer commercial... IT IS NOT A BEER COMMERCIAL!!! just because its was made my a beer company to honor those we've lost does not put it in the beer commercial catagory! so quit cracking jokes and trying to be funny because you're not!

  • had vague idea it was about new york city, but have never been there so didn't know. but when the horses bowed to the skyline with the statue of liberty in the background, amazing. says it all without saying a word. anybody want a Bud? true...true

  • Truly a moving commercial.

  • This is a great commercial for those who died on 9 11. Fuck all those that find it offensive u stupid mother fuckers. terrorist supporting idiots

  • 9/11/2001 is not sad because it happened in America. It's sad because it happened.

  • please do not post negative emotions in this box. it was a horrible day in the history of the world. not because it happened in America, but simply because it happened.

  • Very best by Budweiser!I did tear up&always will! The Best Budweiser commercial:-)

  • Very touching video.......To those who are angry, I think Budwizer was only trying to pay tribute to those who died that day..........Someday when you grow up you will understand!

  • i cried

  • This comercial is so sweet. I got goosebumps while watching it. Even though it was so long ago they are still remembered and cherished to this day.

  • So touching, and always will be,no matter what!

  • chills.

  • This is so chilling to watch. It makes me realize what did happen and whoever was behind it will absolutely pay in the end. There is NO hiding.

  • i love this. its a shame too many people have to ruin a good thing by running thier mouths about "animal cruelty" or "product advertisment".

who the fuck cares...you should be remembering the people who lost thier lives. not the motive of this commercial (if any)

    very kickass budweiser :)

  • Whoever the hell says this is a negative thing is a heartless bastard. my father was one of the 343 firefighters who died that day trying to save innocent lives. and for someone to basically say screw them.... i just hope you burn in hell you heartless son of a bitch. you have no place on this earth.

  • @ozzie162,

i am sorry to hear your father is one of the 343, i would like you know that though i do not know your father i can say he is a true hero.. the 343 men that died on that day are by far the best firefighers that ever exsited and they are by far the least selfish or dishonorable people known to man, firefighting is a dedication and a calling. may god bless you and your family.

  • @ozzie162 your father must have been a good man :) be proud. fuck what these idiots on here say.

  • @ozzie162 your dad did a really nice thing, you should be proud of hime :)

  • @ozzie162 ur father sounds like 1 hell of a guy be very proud

  • @ozzie162 Im sorry to hear about your father. however on the other hand. I am also thankful for his sacrifice.

  • @ozzie162 sounds like a brave man, brave brother of the uniform...Lost to many brothers and sisters that day..always jerks tears seein this stuff. Although im almost 2,000 miles west of NYC, we all lost a part of us that day as well. thanks for speakin up for him. Would have been an honor to go in beside them.

  • @ozzie162 I agree with you 1000%. Condolences for your father and may he rest in peace along with the other victims of this horrible tragedy.

  • @ozzie162 GOD Bless You! The rest of us GOD-fearing, GOD-loving Americans are sorry for your loss. It wasn't only your loss - It was OUR loss!

    GOD BLESS AMERICA!

    Never Forget 9-11-2001!

    GOD Bless Our Troops!

    In GOD We Trust!

  • @ozzie162 I think the people who are put off by this ad are bothered by it's manipulative quality. It's not a question of being "negative." I don't know who are exactly what you are responding to, but to find the ad manipulative doesn't mean saying screw them to anybody who died. You hope people burn in hell because they don't care for this ad?

  • animal cruelty? What a bunch of idiots..... This game me chills... I know have more respect for Budweiser. Awesome job guys!

  • and to the idiots who thought this was animal cruelity it was done with computers. real smart you are.

  • @NICKIEYES1977 Wow, you don't know much about CGI do you?

  • its a damn tribute nothing more. not animal crueity and not to make money. people need to get a fucking life and stop this p/c shit. growup, find girl friends or boy friends and get a job. taking the time to say stupid shit tells me you have neither.

  • Brilliant.

  • Comment removed

  • seriously people saying this is a ploy to make more money, have you ever watched the superbowl? every year they make a special bud commercial with the horses that only airs once! how many commercials actually paid TRIBUTE to this tragedy? so just stop with the bad talk

  • brought tears to my eyes we all lost something that day , but as a strong country we are still standing

  • A moving and beautiful tribute.

  • Brought tears to my eyes.

  • Brought tears to my eyes.

  • this video gives me goosebumps every time i see it.

  • Its called paying respect people. Theres no way this was a ploy to get more customers.

  • God Bless America.

  • our teacher showd us this video n she cryed after to it n she made almost da whole class cry =(

  • I saw this commercial with my family, and I remember we all started crying because we knew what this was about. This is by far the most touching AMERICAN commercial ever made, its almost impossible to not get chills after watching this
