  • Fritos are cooked with animal fat as well. Also, garlic is acidic. I will replace with onions.

  • Girls - salt is poison - you should use sea salt only! Tofu is acidic. So are carrots and beans sans garbonzo beans. I am going to try this recipe with high Ph foods. Thank you for your video.

  • wow, you have an idian accent but you watch modern programs like superbowl...awkward

  • @OldaurGold How is that awkward? I mean, even if it was in person. I mean, it's the superbowl. Who doesn't watch the superbowl? I don't like it, I still watch it.

  • Awesome recipe guys! Thanks for sharing I will have to try this soon!

I knew I liked you girls for a reason.

  • Can I make this in slow crok cooker?

  • @beautyqueen255 : Yes, it's a great recipe for the Slow Cooker.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry

Thank you so much.. I have another question. So if I make this in a slow cooker, do I put everything all together at one time? Do I have to add some oil in it? Do I need to brown the garlic or ginger or any of those things before putting them into the slow cooker? Thank you so much.

  • @beautyqueen255 : We suggest you follow the steps upto browning the onions on the stove-to and then move to the slow cooker....

  • wow now that looks good !!!

  • I *love* showmethe curry. Always excellent recipes, and you make the technique so easy to follow. Frito Pie??? I'm in heaven!

Thanks so much for your support! We'll never say never, but right now, we feel that the visual medium is a very effective learning/teaching tool (and a lot more fun than reading a boring recipe) :)

  • I loved how you put garam masala in it! I put garam masala in almost everything I make from pasta to even enchilada sauce! I definitely recommend it in enchilada sauce, it gives it that little kick.

  • we must be related ;)

  • Looks Tasty!!!

  • Hi Hetal & Anuja,

Thank you for the awesome recipe.

Can you please post some recipes of Angel hair pasta?

  • You can always make it in the corckpot!

  • GR8 recepie!You both rock!

As someone else also asked please share some slow cooker recepies too. Thanks!

  • Hetal and Anuja.. thanks for sharing the receipe... can we store it in fridge and use for a week... plz share how to store for few more days...

  • Yes, it will be good in the refrigerator for about a week over and above that we don't suggest you do. It will loose it's flavor and you want to enjoy the vegetables while they are at the optimum and not on their way out...

  • It looks good but where do you buy the Soy Nugget?

  • Soy Nuggets are available at South Asian Grocery stores. You can also use Soy Granules or Gorund Soy available in the freezer section of American Grocery stores.

  • you're both cute still cute now, i can't imagine what hotties you must have been at 21

  • Wow I didn't know you could put the salt in the beans until after they finish cooking. I totally want a pressure cooker now!

  • A worthwhile investment and such a time saver! We could not live without one...(or two...or three...)

  • Hetal is looking extra ordinary in this video ;)

  • Who Dat cooking Vegetarian Chili? Who Dat?

  • wow, your pots and pans always look brand new and shiny!

  • Anuja you look gorgeous with your hair up! : )

  • Thank you...you made my day!

I LOVE UR CHANNEL and u girls look so adorable in ur cowboys' shirts!!! =D

  • * we read your mind ;)

*yes, it is a perfect recipe for slow cooker (other than the pressure cooker part) but if you use canned beans, it can all be done in the slow cooker.

***slow cooker recipes - will put on our list....

    ****Thanks for the compliment!

  • Chilli Powder or even regular geen chilies will work just as well, we just want a little 'kick'...after all it's for a football season... ;) (good one, if we may say so ourselves!)

  • lol sorry if i sounded rude its just we have to buy chilli pockets of powder here to make chilli :)

  • You were not rude...it was a valid question....

    Enjoy the chili!

  • great one. but i would not add the beans water into it!!so the veggy keep their bright color and test.

  • you would hve to appreciate the time and effort for this. love it. i love slow cooked foods. seems a lot of ur audience likes it fast. what do they know!

  • soooo you do have someone else working the camera! i knew it ! lol

  • Nice recipe..how u guys make veg stock and more importantly how you preserve them?cause I made one time it got bad after few days even in the fridge

  • Fresh Stock won't last in the refrigerator mare than a week. To preserve the color and the nutritional value, you are best off freezing it as soon as possible.

  • Nice recipe. Looks good!

  • I was going to say the Cowboys aren't playing. LOL

  • We know...sob, sob, sob...
