I certainly hope the real movie does the book justice.

This was quite an enjoyable piece of fanwork. I thought the line of dominos, the excerpt from The Whistler, and the sound of bombs afterwards especially good. The music also seemed fitting. Very nice.

Ok I read this book in my AP english class in 6th grade and they are making a movie of this???!!! I know this is one that you made but i saw that they are making the book into a movie! I doubt it will be as good as the book because in the book Death narrates a lot through out the book so it will be sort of hard to do that in the movie. There for you wont be able to see that Death has more feelings then you think! I guese we will just have to see.

While I liked the trailer, I think you did a great job, I'd never want to see an actual movie based on the book. The Book Thief is a book about books and it can only be done in the format of a book. Making an actual movie out of it would go against everything the book stands for.

Lame! This is not the trailer for The Book Thief. There is no way Markus Zusak would allow them to do this to his work. I don't believe a movie of this book is actually coming out in the foreseeable future.

Yes there is going to be a movie, but unlike what this "trailer" says, it's coming out in 2010.
