Yes, I have already used this code. Check and make sure the connection to the database is established before you try to do anything.

@nathan76296 nathan I am getting the same error as xmenn75, I am new to mysql, in the text box are you supposed to enter the table name, the program runs it brings up the first login form, I enter the data and it connects, i added my own code to bring up the data grid form but when i enter a table name it gives me the same error, any ideas of how to solve this?

@sarshen1 You dont actually put the data into the table first you put it into a variable. Output As DataTable then using the instance name for the table use myTable.Fill(output);
