  • Every time you ask a question, I answer it, you ignore the response, and ask a new question with some ridicule thrown in for good measure. If you're really interested in the topic, go read some N.T. Wright, he does a much better job explaining the evidence for Christianity than I ever could. I know when someone is yanking my chain. Go troll someone else.

  • I have a question for all Christians.

By what definition do you define Satan as evil, but "God" as good?

I would like to see what references makes Christians think this, especially since according to the bible, God killed 2391421 people and Satan only killed 10.....

    Please explain pawns.

  • "Test everything. Hold on to the good." --Paul, 1 Thessalonians 5:21

  • @Nyarl3 If you apply this to the bible, you have very little to hold onto. If God never changes, how do you live with that old testament bastard?

  • @rovingdesertfox Your rudeness aside, I live with Him with great difficulty sometimes, no doubt. And you're right, God never changes, He is the same forever. Our relationship with him can change, however. I believe that the God who commanded the extermination of the Amorites in Genesis is the same God who sent His Son to die for the sins of the world out of love for us. But I don't know what this has to do with the intellectual framework for modern science coming from the Bible. Explain?

  • @Nyarl3 Test everything, as in, if "God" killed over 2 million people in the o.t., how exactly is that an example of divine love? Rudeness? No, I like to call a spade a spade. Time has come where we don't honor people's programmed belief systems. For us to honor them, we will have to have some evidence, for surely it is time they die, since none is possible. I was raised in this ridiculous and insane belief system, but challenged and analyzed it and finally conclude that it is corrupt!!

  • @Nyarl3 I further challenge you to view Santos Bonacci and his videos on Astrotheology, so perhaps you can stop wasting your life on the ch. insanity. I realize you will never turn your back on your religion though, as hiding within the framework of your belief lurks eternal damnation for such an action. Don't bother to respond to this message, I already know what you will say. Don't tell me how arrogant I am, I have seen the destructive qualities in your religion and know it is death itself.

  • @rovingdesertfox Did you even bother to read what I wrote? Did I say that exterminating the Amorites was an example of divine love? No. And I too, have examined the evidence for Christianity, and I find myself convinced by it. I won't apologize for it, and I won't be bullied by the self-styled "champions of rationality." So go, find someone else to bark at, because it's clear all you want to do is preach.

  • @Nyarl3 You made my point. If killing the Amorites, (and millions of others) is not consistent with divine love, as you have just said, where does that leave the entity that did it? Forget the bullying. I don't know you. I'm challenging your belief system. There is spirituality beyond churchianity.

  • @rovingdesertfox I've made none of your points, you're assuming things. It's always a mystery to me how people have no problem believing in an all-loving God, but just can't seem to believe in a God who is also Just. The Bible affirms both attributes of God. I didn't say killing the Amorites was inconsistent with divine love, I said it was not an example of it. God is Just, and His killing of the Amorites, in my view, reflects His justice.

  • @Nyarl3 First of all, why would God, after creating "children", then demand that they be perfect from the outset?

Ridiculous. There is no such evidence that even God is perfect aside from the dogma that you've been taught.

You will be quick to put the blame squarely on mankind. That is what other humans have told you. Come to grips with the fact that you operate in a belief system that is, by definition, based not on knowing, but on thinking you know, or faith. cont.

  • @Nyarl3 The belief system is run by priests and those who have no idea what the scope of God is, and then try to tell you all about it with the cornerstone being that you are a piece of crap, and that you have to pay them 10 per cent of your income. Wake up man. You probably think you've never been skammed, but you are sucker to the biggest skam of all time. Accept it so you can move on with your life and learn about the way the cosmos really functions. Religion has no clue.

  • @rovingdesertfox By the way, God wasn't just going around killing people willy-nilly, read Genesis 15:16. He waits until the wickedness of the Amorites was full, because to kill them otherwise would have been unjust. I suppose the question is, do you believe that God, if He exists, has the right to judge you?

  • @Nyarl3 PS: You evaded my evidence question.

  • @rovingdesertfox You made no evidence question, you merely stated no evidence was possible.

  • @Nyarl3 I asked you to provide evidence that the word of god, bible, is truly his word. Also, what evidence do you have that any of it is true? No cannot.

  • Science Wins!

  • v.profound stuff. excellent video. thanks.
