I would like to see what references makes Christians think this, especially since according to the bible, God killed 2391421 people and Satan only killed 10.....

Our relationship with him can change, however. I believe that the God who commanded the extermination of the Amorites in Genesis is the same God who sent His Son to die for the sins of the world out of love for us. But I don't know what this has to do with the intellectual framework for modern science coming from the Bible. Explain?
@Nyarl3 Test everything, as in, if "God" killed over 2 million people in the o.t., how exactly is that an example of divine love? Rudeness? No, I like to call a spade a spade. Time has come where we don't honor people's programmed belief systems. For us to honor them, we will have to have some evidence, for surely it is time they die, since none is possible. I was raised in this ridiculous and insane belief system, but challenged and analyzed it and finally conclude that it is corrupt!!

It's always a mystery to me how people have no problem believing in an all-loving God, but just can't seem to believe in a God who is also Just. The Bible affirms both attributes of God. I didn't say killing the Amorites was inconsistent with divine love, I said it was not an example of it. God is Just, and His killing of the Amorites, in my view, reflects His justice.

He waits until the wickedness of the Amorites was full, because to kill them otherwise would have been unjust. I suppose the question is, do you believe that God, if He exists, has the right to judge you?
