The 3 gowns loving referred to by the girls 'White De Mink' were the only new set of the three costumes to be premiered in this show - the other two were previously seen in late 1965 TV shows. They are the second oldest original Supremes couture to have still survived. These were the first set to be worn in Cindy's 1st publicity photo shoot with Diana and Mary in 1967. They come with mink trimmed cuffs bollaro style short jackets and were later worn with white chiffon flowing Greecian gowns.

Smokey Robinson, that lyrical genius, was at the pinnacle of his career. This music perfectly describes the times that it was written. The sixties thru the seventies were the best music period in history. Period! The seventies were the best.

there is that clip during the week that the 25th special was recorede NBC ran the clip of diana pushing mary and said 'All was not well at the Motown 25th anniversary taping and they showed the clear tape of the event but only for a few seconds but that was all it took if someone can get access to nbc news that week the raw satelite upload you will be able to see that

clip your referring too (Diana "pushes" ahead of Mary & Cindy) is the 25th Motown anniversary show that aired on NBC in the early 80's. Acoording to Suzanne DePasse the video you are referring to has been LOCKED UP and has never been seen by ANYONE...it's probably been thrown away by now......if u rent the video/dvd of the show you only see Diana step forward and then Mary and Cindy (who look a bit confused) step right up with her...and THAT's IT!

I was wondering if the person who posted this video has the one where Diana tried to push pass the other girls to get to center stage first. Im not sure which it was but it had 3 gentlemen singing in the beginning if my memory serves me correctly it was Darin and 2 other guys.
