  • hmmm bubbles of pure oxygen (or near enough).....has no one ever though of putting a match to those? ;)

  • where do you get 30% hydrogen peroxide?

  • If you touch it will anyhthing bad happen to your skin?

  • Can u touch it

  • Can you touch it?

  • i would love to have you as a dad, having to make weird science stuff :D

  • what if it was 100% O_o

  • the title is IRRELEPHANT hahahhaahaha... yeah but why is it elephants toothpaste?

  • LOOK AT THE 3 %

  • potassium iodine or iodide?

  • CAN U TOUCH THE FOAM?

  • @kathyle1421 yes. you can touch the foam. it wont hurt you. just wash you hands because you will get soap on them

  • It would be cool to grab like 80% Hydrogen Peroxide and put it inside a car and make it blow up :D.

  • i was at my high school for my tour and in the science room, the teacher made this and i decided to touch it and my hand ended up YELLOW and it stained my hand for a week

  • Will someone explain to me exactly why it is called elephants toothpaste?

  • @luigi90900

It is mostly Called that for the fact, That if you place Food coloring inside the Experiment, It comes out colored, It gives a Similar Appearance to Toothpaste. Because of how big it is, It seems to big for a human to use, But, A big animal, Such as an Elephant, It would be perfect, (if they ever needed to use it)

  • the last one just swallowed everyone!

  • can you please come to are school in Ireland

  • good

  • luv the t-shirt lmao

  • @heytobyXD thx thats me a few years ago

  • where can i get potassium iodide?

  • 'run for your life..' :P

  • now we need an elephant toothbrush

  • what about 100 percent?

  • The boy goes to my school. No kidding

  • @frumpy4 who is this? I went to challenge at the time.

  • 2:37

  • What all do you need?

  • Why does it turn white?

  • @LPSRocks132 The oxygen does not form large bubbles but instead many tiny bubbles. The solution looks brown at first but that is only after light is throughly scattered. A thin film of the solution is colourless. Many liquids have this property eg. water. Thus, the foam will appear white instead of brown due to it consisting of thin films of the solution. You can also see this property in foaming water.

  • What's potassium iodide and where can I get it ?

  • I seriously know the boy he goes to my school!

  • hi ! I think thats AMAZING! But, why is it called elephant toothpaste?

  • @MissMusic2416 because its alot pastefor a human! lol

  • how can I find the different percents of hydrogen peroxide?

  • how do you find the different percents of hydrogen peroxide?

  • Next: Lets add some food colouring :P

  • The tie-dye burns my eyes.

  • try 99.0 %

  • @legomasterj that would be cool

  • how many children does he have?!

  • @Jack5458 lol those arent his kids except Jack Spangler

  • the last one was soo cool nd i wish i could do that to my sisters face

  • so basically rubbing alcohol?

    im so doing this :D

  • amazing!

  • 1 person had to clean it up

  • *claps hand* wow, can i ues that cause i wanna ues the toothpaste for my tooth ^_^

  • lets try 100% CHALLENGE OVER LOOOOOOOOOOOOOAD

  • Imagine 500 % That would be ... WOoooOW

  • imagine 500%

  • ohh god now they have kid hippies...

  • what the boy is doing in 00.59??

  • What's that kindfriendly katalyst?, i cant get potassiumjodide anywhere,

  • @sk8shred potassium iodide

  • that is some funny looking hippie kids...

  • @KULIKAK I hate you. That's me a few years ago.

  • omg

  • wow all of these experiments are very cool and interesting

  • wait, so what are they mixing?

  • For some reason I keep hearing Run for your lives, in some of their videos lol

  • you add wat!!??

  • wow awesome!!!!!!! i wanna do that

  • Hippies..... :-)

  • We're actually run for our life LOL like it's gonna eat you haha

  • If you boil hydrogen peroxide would you raise the concentration? Or is it way to dangerous?

  • @physcovideos I'll try it if you try it. [;

  • @physcovideos probably not...

  • so its dawn dish soap in a tube, then you put some hydrogen peroxide into it then it expands? and is it safe to touch?

  • @Nemesis986 you also have to add yeast, or that potassiuim sulfide or whatever shit to make it do that.

  • 2:01 LOOK AT THE 7 PERCENT LOL

  • @WeCanBeatFred what about it

  • i remember someone visited our school and shown this to us when i was in 7th grade

  • 0:01

  • can u touch the elephants toothpaste?

  • Make it 100% and put it in a swimming pool. No, put it in a well.

  • What would happing if you use a whole bottle in a cooler with two bottles of dawn soap? :)

  • @KyleLee408 YES.

  • where can i buy the things?

  • ha we always practice safe science

  • upppp

  • for a replacement of a potassium iodide you can you yeast mixed with water

  • don't quite get it...is it just soap+hidrogen peroxide??

or what is inside the xeringe?

please do excuse my bad spelling :(

  • @phantomsgf Potassium iodide is what they use to react with the hydrogen peroxide. The soap is just used to collect the released oxygen much like a bubble blower.

  • lol those are hippie kids

  • tried it. it didnt work

  • You didn't do it right then.

  • That last one was awesome and it's great to get the kids involved like that. It's so important to learn science and math when you're young. I wish I hard started even sooner than I did.

  • lolz garage band :D

  • i wanna poke it :D

  • those are some cool tye dye shirts

  • @itsdalena thx! that was me!

  • instant mashpotato !

  • why is it called elephants toothpaste?

  • because when the foam is formed it looks like toothpaste, enough to brush an elephant's teeth lol but I wouldn't touch it...its very hot, thats why you can see steam coming out

  • It´s looks like toothpaste.

and there is so much "toothpaste"

We call it elephants toothpaste because they are big.

  • My teacher did that on my desk on first day of school. I touched it and it was really hot.

  • @5frameskevin It's because the chemical reaction makes heat, which is why you see steam. I think the "science" term for it is Exothermic, but I haven't been in a chemestry class in about....6 years.

  • @5frameskevin probably because it's an exothermic reaction

  • @5frameskevin because its acid like moron

  • @iyatski u dont have to call him a moron. he probably didnt know what it was

  • @5frameskevin Did you learn that you don't touch steaming things?

  • @5frameskevin Next time don't do that.

  • @5frameskevin Next time don't do that. :P

  • @5frameskevin Don't do that. :P

  • @5frameskevin it is supposed to be hot because it is an exothermic reaction and if you look at steve's genie in a bottle experiment he gets the same reaction but he just doesn't add soap

  • Great videos! I love all your videos
