And we have. There's Ardipithecus ramidus; Australopithecus afarensis; Homo habilis; Homo erectus; and so on. In fact, the puzzle for the evolutionary history of the human species and all other modern apes is nearly complete. There'll always be more pieces to fill in, but the pieces we have so far give us a fairly good picture of what it looks like.

It's not. Not particularly, I mean. To use an analogy: it's just one more piece of the puzzle. It's a transitional fossil that allows us to gain some more insight in one piece of the evolutionary history of the clade of primates.
As things stand now, we're not even entirely sure where to put this particular bit of the puzzle, so Ida is really not a good argument for or against any particular phylogeny.

That explanation was - in general terms - started 150 years ago, in the form of Darwin's original evolutionary model. Of course it doesn't say that humans descend from *modern* primates. The universe isnt infinite, you could say it has a certain size and its expanding all the time at an accelerating rate. You could say it has some kind of an edge, but this edge is just theoretical and could not be reached with any kind of technology. Its like you would say you can walk to the edge of the earth. To exit earth you need to move in a 3rd dimension: up. The edge of the universe is the same except the edge itself is 3-dimensional, so you would need to find a 4th dimension.

In fact, the puzzle for the evolutionary history of the human species and all other modern apes is nearly complete. It's not. Not particularly, I mean. To use an analogy: it's just one more piece of the puzzle. It's a transitional fossil that allows us to gain some more insight in one piece of the evolutionary history of the clade of primates.
As things stand now, we're not even entirely sure where to put this particular bit of the puzzle, so Ida is really not a good argument for or against any particular phylogeny.

We have created life from non-living matter, scientists created a self replicating bacteria in May 2010, since it was last year and this video is old of course they did not know this, but I urge anyone that says evolution is not a fact to NOT trust creationist propaganda but rather read and actual science book. Kent Hovind is sitting in prison on like a 125 year sentence for tax fraud. His so called 'science' degree is from an UNACCREDITED school.

If evolution is true...humans are just one of many species that evolved from common ancestry. Were no better than animal and we ought not think we are. In fact...if everything evolved from sheer matter nothing spiritual is real. We ourselves are ultimately no better than or different from any other living species. We are nothing more than protoplasm waiting to become manure. this includes children and family. This universe has done us no favors.

Evolution has never tried to say how life started only how it changes over time once life has started. @1927Norma "accidents that produced anything with no mind or intent" umh accidents is the complete opposite of evolution, where nonrandom change is through slight variation of gene's, inherited by offsprings. which ever offspring is more suitable to a certain environment, will be more likely to survive therefor passing those genes into future generations. "blind luck and random issues" like i said no luck was ever involved in evolution, just a selection of genes more apropriety for survival

there may not be an afterlife but there most certainly is some kind of creator even if it isnt a being like we always put it...existence cant just happen it was "made" and we will never understand it...you may say "who then, created this god or all powerfull singularity" well the answer is nobody "he" created the idea of creation itself

The origin of the universe is an extremely difficult and important question, but just saying that God did does nothing to answer the question. And just saying that he created the idea of creation itself is based nothing either. If you think that God created the universe, its perfectly valid to ask who created God.

1. The theory of evolution doesn't deal with the issue of how the universe came into existence, so, technically, you are right: it will never explain it.
2. In his new book, "The Grand Design", professor Stephen Hawking states that, according to the laws of physics, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. And I suspect that Hawking knows more about physics that you and I.

i wasnt as much talking about the universe and matter ...say it all came from nothing the big bang just happened and the universe is expanding...since its expanding its not infinite(it has an edge) whether or not its potential is infinite its still expanding and thus expanding into something...well what is it expanding into? nothingness? could i go to the edge and see this nothingness? then it would then exist as something so where did this "nothingness" area come from

The universe isnt infinite, you could say it has a certain size and its expanding all the time at an accelerating rate. You could say it has some kind of an edge, but this edge is just theoretical and could not be reached with any kind of technology. Its like you would say you can walk to the edge of the earth. To exit earth you need to move in a 3rd dimension: up. The edge of the universe is the same except the edge itself is 3-dimensional, so you would need to find a 4th dimension.

Evolution is essentially based on adaptation to the environment, and adaptation has been observed in generations of mice.
Also this shouldn't be titled "XvsY" as that leads the audience to believe that the two are on equal grounds within the argument; it should by titled "Why X is better than Y" - it's just creationism rubbishing a small portion of scientific hypotheses.
Why does this woman waste everyone's time attempting to disprove other peoples beliefs rather than validating her own?

When she implied at 1:06 that evolution is a "scientific view of a biased minority" just realize that this is a complete lie. Just as one example, 480,000 accredited scientists were polled by US News and World report and 99.87% said that they subscribe to the theory of evolution. You can choose to believe whatever you want or say that the vast majority of the scientific community is wrong but don't you dare make a claim like the one in this video. It is a scientific VAST majority.

Make & prove your point with facts not lies.
Just say you believe in the bible as this is what faith teaches you. You'll get far more respect from the truth than from lies.

They try to say evolution is far-fetched, but the jewish zombie where you eat his body, drink his blood, and telepathically tell him he can be your master forever is just so much more believable. Really, what can cause grown adults to think such childish things? I can see when theyre young and naive. But once you hit puberty there is no excuse.
