Wow your 50lb took 2 1/2 mins to actually do somethin! You have a big ol bay dog....I was amazed that your dog went back for it as soon as it got bit, I thought it would run away!!
@chinbunny1 this is in the dogs nature to do this. A cat will do the same thing to a mouse. Why do we think that just because dogs are domesticated, they don't have natural urges? We only saw it from when the dog started barking. What if the groundhog attacked the curious dog? Should the owner have done something? Maybe, but that ground hog was dead in 2 or 3 seconds. Some ethical kills last a bit longer.
@skank2dis1 Again cats killing mice=/= the same thing as some idiot allowing their dog to kill. What if this dog decides to kill a neighbors pet, or worse bite a kid. Ever think of that? A dog killing is not nature, nor natural at all. They could have called the dog off and discouraged the animal from coming into the yard. Allowing it to kill also teaches the dog its ok to attack and kill other animal. Which could put the dog at risk at getting shot, or killed over it.
@skank2dis1 & groundhogs don't normally attack unless they feel threatened or provoked. 99% of the time they run unless they are cornered. Also 99% its the dog who attacks first. Even IF it did attack first, there was no reason to kill it like that. Grabbed by the back, and violently bitten, and shook to death is not a humane death. Esp when the animal that killed it ran circles around it, barking its damned head off, for three minutes.
@chinbunny1 humane death I can see. But let's take a step further out, If we see a lion chasing a deer and he catches him, should we give the deer a humane death? I know this dog wasn't going to eat this groundhog for lunch, but does the deer deserve a humane death? Does a murderer deserve a humane death? (personally I think a bullet to the head for murders is humane) You seem intelligent so I just wanted to see where you stood on other things...
@skank2dis1 Lions chasing deer =/= the same thing as a domestic bred pet killing animals in the back yard. Murderers also =/= the same thing. You are applying, and comparing human, and animal rights to a dog. Did you miss the part where I pointed out that pet dogs who are allowed to kill, are known to attack and kill other animals? That also includes livestock.
@chinbunny1 Hey ass munch, first off, your not a vegan if you eat meat. Think hard and shit out a tree and then HUG that! Secondly, I have seen tons of livestock break their legs because of these pests digging holes and have to be put out because they were suffering. Do I condone killing animals, NO! But I know of some dogs that risk their lives to fight off coyotes to protect their masters and their territory.
@skank2dis1 So give it a humane death by shooting the damned things. A dog killing a coyote to protect livestock =/= the same thing as some idiot allowing his pet to kill an animal in the backyard. When a pet kills, there is also the risk of it killing other animals, including other pets. I used to live on a farm too, and I know exactly how it works with dogs who randomly kill. They end up shot.
What if every asshole had an asshole dog loose- they would all be extinct..what assholes.(men are assholes- need to try harder- your dog is an asshole man dog).

@skank2dis1 Well this 'tree hugging vegan' has also had animals attacked and killed by dogs who are allowed to kill other animals. Where I live, people shoot such dogs. PS, I eat meat. So STFU.

Why would you let your dog eventually kill that ground hog. Such a waste. Oh those of you who compare it to nature. That ground hog didn't serve as food now did it. So yes, its a waste. And I haven't ran anything over yet with my car so there...

you people are dickheads. it is a good dog if you are gonna use it in a baiting ring, maybe, to kill rats. you don't deserve to have control of any animal, in my opinion. Fucking white trash. Go take your kids to a pigeon shoot.
@chinbunny1 it is all nature!!! and owner who hunting and kill with dogs can be just as responsable as one who doesnt they are not forced to do it, it is all nature! god you are close minded.
@binner1994 & its NOT nature. This dog isn't killing to eat, its killing just for the hell of it. That kind of dog can become dangerous towards other animals living in that area. Next time it could be someones pet, or worse, it could bite a kid.
@chinbunny1 no offense, dats sum BS. im sure if any medium to large sized dog was presented with the opprutunity to kill a woodchuck, they probably would! most dogs are born with a NATURAL urge to hunt and kill smaller animals, it just depends on the owner's actions that determines whether or not the dog will be able to do so. in this case, it seems, the owner allowed the dog to unleash its inner wolf, which is fine by me. 'chucks r pests in most areas anyway.just sayin.
@MrGarbage50 Not fine by me, because such dogs also kill other animals when they escape the property. Allowing a dog to 'unleash its inner wolf' is not right. Esp when that owner just stands there, filming with a camera. When such a dog comes into my yard, and attacks my animals, its going to get hurt. If that ever happens to this dog(if it hasn't already) it would be the owner fault for allowing it.
@chinbunny1 u have a good point there. i too can see this as unaaceptable if the owner just did this for no reason. however, if thats a hunting dog and the owner plans on eating the chuck, it would make a lil more sense, although he could of made the killing a lil more humane.
And not to change subject, but ur vids suggest dat u own a rabbit farm of some sort.dats very neat. i take in chickens from battery farms so they wiil not be killed and let them live the rest oftheirlives free.
@MrGarbage50 The dog looks like a pit bull. Not a hunting dog. I agree the killing could have been more humane. Yes I breed and show rabbits as a hobby.
@chinbunny1 I have had animals attacked by, and lost several to dogs like the one in the video. it sucks big time to walk into a building to nothing but knocked over cages, and animals torn apart because someone was too stupid to properly socialize and control their dog.
By vicious killer you must be referring to the dog. This is a pathetic vid. What exactly justifies killing the groundhog? This is not like the wild because the groundhog was killed for nothing. Did you eat it? Did the dog eat it?
WOW YOU LITTLE NO LIFE CREEP ITS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND! I HOPE YOU GET THIS MESSAG CUZ THIS IS JUST SICK! YOUR A SICK SICK MAN! Now go die i a hole you should be ashammed!
i see you accomplished a lot here. what was the point? were you curious to see if your dog would have killed it? or maybe to see if the thing could have knocked your dogs eyes out? then what? now lets put your dog up against a cougar. if you wanted it dead just shoot it, did you get your jollies? just curious, cause that is what you were after.
That's a good dog. Nature at its best. If 1 million groundhogs are killed slowly and painfully in the wild by animals it's ok as long as you don't see it. But ohh no. God forbid these hippies are exposed once to what happens in the wild and now let's kill all dogs who do it....man. How did wolves ever survive if everytime they took down another animal they were being scrutinized to be euthanized because of it.
@Cashmoney3590 This isn't nature. This is not wolves killing in the wild. This is a domestic bred pet, killing a wild animal in its backyard. Just because someone supports responsible dog ownership does not make them a hippie. When will you irresponsible dog owners ever realize there are consequences when your dogs are caught in the act of attacking another animal? Do you support PETA? Sounds like you do by applying the right to kill, to dogs.
@chinbunny1 millions of dogs die of starvation and cruelty everyday.....hows that make you feel...and you cant do anything to help them......cry me a river hippie fucktards...see some counseling and snuggle with your pillow creeps
@Cashmoney3590 Millions of dogs are also shot every year for killing wildlife, pets, and livestock. Does this dog look like its starving to you? No. its not. Get a life fucking animal abuse supporting POS. PS before you try pulling the zomg you're a hippie card again, I grew up on a farm, stupid fuck. You people who approve of this shit need some serious help.
@Cashmoney3590 Nobody said kill all dogs who do it. It has been pointed out that dogs who do kill can also end up killed for attacking another animal off the property. Responsible dog owners DO NOT allow their pets to attack and kill other animals. & its NOT nature.
@chinbunny1 Agree, what we are looking at here is a Groundhog dying for no reason because the owners of the dog are basically retarded and can't be bothered to call their dog off...
@SENSIBLECHEMIST People like them(and most commenting in favor of it) should never own a dog in the first place. Being that I have had my own pets attacked and killed by such a dogs, I can personally tell you its never fun to deal with them. Used to live in the country, where people would shoot them for doing this. pet owners need to learn to control their dogs.
@chinbunny1@chinbunny1 millions of dogs die of starvation and cruelty everyday.....hows that make you feel...and you cant do anything to help them......cry me a river hippie fucktards...see some counseling and snuggle with your pillow creeps
@shaneho78 Would the irresponsible dog owners learn to control their dogs, so I don't have them to deal with them when they come into my yard to kill something?
LMAO I was kinda upset but I'm sorry, the kill part caught me off guard. The ground hog finally got in a good bite and the dog just IMMEDIATELY snapped like row row row.... BITCH!!! ***bite, shake shake, growl, shake, growl, shake shake***
@fmthebaron I hope you realize that some of these 'idiots' who gave the video a thumbs down, also grew up on a farm, and would never think of allowing a dog to attack and kill another animal. When there are better ways of removing them. You dumb rednecks give good farmers a bad name. you don't give a shit as long as the local wildlife are destroyed. If its not a pet, just kill it.
Has this happened before? Have you tried getting the dogs attention off the animal, to see if it flees, never to return? Otherwise, the dog had plenty of time, and waited for the groundhog to attack, before making a kill...
Bring that dog to my farm. We have dozens of groundhogs, and my pity for them ends where the garden and horses begin. Your critics have no clue about the realities of farming- they are too busy buying broccoli grown in China.
fuck that ground hog and all you pussy dog owners, dogs aren't just meant to be cuddly little lap dogs for little bitch owners. Oh the dog got bitten once or twice, it's the dogs natures to kill other small rodents like this, good dog.
@redzer06 Fuck you. Dogs just like this one often end up shot and killed because their fucking stupid assed owners let them kill other small animals. & its not nature for a domestic bred pet to kill off native wildlife.
For those of you who say this is nature. The dog is introduced he is a domestic animal. The groundhog is native. If it were a wolf and a groundhog now that would be nature. The dog gets fed why kill this poor animal for sport? Where is this at the US? or Canada?
id like to put the owners and a cage with a lion and see how they like it. Theyd get what they deserved having a lion shake them like that dog shaked that groundhog.
lol at all you whiners sooking about nature taking its course. the dog cornered the groundhog, dog wins. the owners weren't encouraging or discouraging the dog. fair play.
Those animals (woodchuck) destroy alot of crops and dig holes in fields that farm animals use such as cattle or horses, step into break their leg. After they do you have to destroy the horse or cow because of this pest. You city people really need to shut your mouths and stop giving negative comments to the very people who feed your urban lard asses. We may be rednecks but us rednecks are the ones who farm your food. Think about that when filling your fat faces.
@CannibalCarp Newsflash, dumbass, not all of us live in the city. there are better ways of removing them teaching a dog to kill them. Good luck when said dog decides to start killing other animals too.
@stayAU I grew up on a farm. Our dogs did not go on killing sprees on the local wildlife. They weren't allowed to 'do whats natural.' Like these idiots allow theirs to do. Claiming they allow it to do what comes natural is just a lazy excuse not to train, nor take responsibility for the dogs actions. & its the dog that will pay one day, unfortunately.
@chinbunny1 My son's dog is well trained. He's gentle with cats, ignores the chickens, babies, baby anythings, doesn't chase the buggies (we live in Amish country), and does what he's told when he's told. He's also been taught to go after groundhogs, and he does so with results similar to what you saw in the video. Then he brings them to us (ew). Then he is praised, and the carcass goes up in the woods near the fox den. Foxes consider them good eating.
Im sorry but that's not right either. If he was trained to kill them quickly and did it under command and complete control of the owner, that would be one thing, doing it on his own is another. My point to the previous poster is no dog should be randomly killing off a lot of native wildlife like they admitted to allowing theirs to do. What the op in the video allowed their dog to do to this animal is not ok either. I grew up on a farm around farm dogs. Groundhogs got shot
@chinbunny1 I don't disagree with you. But, the owners stepped outside, and patiently waited for the dog to make a move. No disapproval. Then dog also chose to let the groundhog attack first... Although absolutely scared for it's life, the dog didnt just kill the groundhog, because he wanted to.
@foozbong The dog went after the groundhog first. that's why he ran circles around it for three minutes, looking for the opportunity to grab it. He didn't wait patiently for it to attack him. It was provoked into attacking him. The dog killed it because the stupid owners allowed it to. They could have intervened, and called him off.
@rainbowsnbubbles Cont not attacked, not ran around for three minutes before the attack, and not terrorized, like this dog in the video does. The animals were taken out quickly. The farm dogs were not allowed to attack or kill anything. The key is giving the animal a quick, humane death, and being shook to death by a dog is not one. And there are better ways of removing them then letting a domestic pet attack them.
@rainbowsnbubbles One more thing i have personally had my own animals(including livestock) attacked by pet dogs who's owners allowed them to kill and do whatever the hell they wanted.
@stayAU Also I get tired of these fucking idiots who think certain breeds of dogs were bred to kill. So that means they can allow it to kill whatever the hell it wants. Its bullshit because I own a terrier and have talk to terrier owners, and thats not what they are bred for.
I don't see anything wrong with this video.. You could tell the woodchuck was good and healthy, plus woodchucks are varmints, hell you can shoot those things year around with no bag limit in pennsylvania.. If you don't kill woodchucks they can do major crop damage, damage the foundation of your home, ruin cropping fields, they can be extremely destructive pests.. I'd understand if you were from the city and never saw anything like this, but you need to stop being pussies.
In my opinion this is a job well done by someones pet.. as far as I'm concerned this dog is well trained because it will kill pests. If you live in the country and your dog is outside a lot, I'd be really surprised if it didn't do things like this.. I grew up around hunting dogs (mainly redbones) and have done a lot coon hunting, bobcat hunting, bear hunting, coyote hunting.. If you can't handle this you can't handle the country life.. PERIOD!!
Hell if I was the owner of this dog, I would be pissed if it didn't kill that woodchuck.. You retards that think what you saw was cruel, how about you let a family of woodchucks make some burrows under your foundation.. We'll see who's the dumb fuck, the stupid redneck that killed the bastard or the city slicker who just cost their stupid asses thousands of dollars for the damage that woodchuck would do to your property..
@JoeBuddable Also there is a huge difference between a trained hunting dog who HUNTs and pet who is tossed in the backyard and allowed to attack and kill an animal. And if you think its ok to allow a dog to roam the property to kill whatever it wants, then you are an idiot. Where i live we shoot dogs who do that.
@stmichael702 STFU yourself, you moron. Dogs like this one often end up shot for killing other animals. Fucking idiot. Let that fucking dog 'do its job' in my yard and see what happens to it.
@chinbunny1 Oh!, I see. Maybe you should change your name to double standard because your complaining about the dog doing something in "his" back yard, but you just made a threat about what you would do to him if he came in "your" backyard. LOL make up your mind man, Are you against it or are you advocating it? Sounds like your confused.
@stmichael702 Oh non, im not confused. just speaking from experience from dealing with dogs just like this one, caught attacking animals in my own yard. It attacks something in my yard, i will not hesitate to protect what belongs to me(or lives in the yard), and it is legal where I live to kill such a dog. But, it aint the dogs fault, its the owners. the only way they learn is when their pet end sup hurt or dead.
@chinbunny1 its a FUCKING DOG! its eats fucking meat and a foreign animal entered its territory. It did what its instincts told it to do and killed it...
people like you should end up getting shot for your fucking stupidity
@chinbunny1 why would my dog be killed for killing a rat or a squirrel, she is well socialized around other dogs and people. Also people don't shoot dogs in my country, would yo say a cat killing birds, mice, rats etc. has an irresponsible owner? My dog is a terrier which was breed for hunting and killing rats, it's natural to them so stop being such a fucking pussy bitch.
@redzer06 A cat killing a bird or a mouse =/= the same thing as a dog killing another animal. Dogs are capable of killing other animals larger then themselves. And you are responsible for your dogs actions and you should not allow it to kill the local wildlife. And terriers are NOT bred for killing. They are bred to hold and bay the animal, and flush it from under ground. Ratters are trained to do that job, not just allowed to do whatever the hell they want.
@KemicalSound A fucking dog that could end up shot and killed for attacking another animal. Fucking idiot. No irresponsible dog owners like you should be shot for your fucking stupidity.
@chinbunny1 wow! will you just piss off! like i said earlier I LET my dog do whatever it wants because its whats in its nature. If my dog came in the house with a badger in its mouth i'd pat it on the back an congratulate it. I'm far from lazy when it comes to my dog, i train him, play with him take him for walks and whatnot, my dog isn't vicious to other dogs or humans and thats fine. but if a dumbass squirrel runs into my garden and my dog is there it's fucked...
@KemicalSound If you trained him, and cared about him, he wouldn't be killing wildlife. And you wouldn't be putting your dogs health at risk by allowing it.
And then i would kill your dog

@chinbunny1 I have had animals attacked by, and lost several to dogs like the one in the video. it sucks big time to walk into a building to nothing but knocked over cages, and animals torn apart because someone was too stupid to properly socialize and control their dog.

Cashmoney3590 3 weeks ago 10
@Cashmoney3590 This isn't nature. This is not wolves killing in the wild. This is a domestic bred pet, killing a wild animal in its backyard. Just because someone supports responsible dog ownership does not make them a hippie. When will you irresponsible dog owners ever realize there are consequences when your dogs are caught in the act of attacking another animal? Do you support PETA? Sounds like you do by applying the right to kill, to dogs.

chinbunny1 4 days ago
@Cashmoney3590 Nobody said kill all dogs who do it. It has been pointed out that dogs who do kill can also end up killed for attacking another animal off the property. Responsible dog owners DO NOT allow their pets to attack and kill other animals. & its NOT nature.
chinbunny1 1 week ago
@chinbunny1 Agree, what we are looking at here is a Groundhog dying for no reason because the owners of the dog are basically retarded and can't be bothered to call their dog off...

Has this happened before? Have you tried getting the dogs attention off the animal, to see if it flees, never to return? Otherwise, the dog had plenty of time, and waited for the groundhog to attack, before making a kill...

For those of you who say this is nature. The dog is introduced he is a domestic animal. The groundhog is native. If it were a wolf and a groundhog now that would be nature. The dog gets fed why kill this poor animal for sport? Where is this at the US? or Canada?
stayAU 2 months ago
@stayAU The dog doesn't know he is a domesticated species so when it sees a smaller animal its instincts say, "attack".

Think about that when filling your fat faces.

chinbunny1 2 months ago
@CannibalCarp my grandfather was a farmer and that kaka about cattle breaking their legs is a bunch of ignorant horse manure.
stayAU 2 months ago
@stayAU I grew up on a farm. Our dogs did not go on killing sprees on the local wildlife. They weren't allowed to 'do whats natural.' Like these idiots allow theirs to do. Claiming they allow it to do what comes natural is just a lazy excuse not to train, nor take responsibility for the dogs actions. & its the dog that will pay one day, unfortunately.
chinbunny1 2 months ago
@chinbunny1 My son's dog is well trained. He's gentle with cats, ignores the chickens, babies, baby anythings, doesn't chase the buggies (we live in Amish country), and does what he's told when he's told. He's also been taught to go after groundhogs, and he does so with results similar to what you saw in the video. Then he brings them to us (ew). Then he is praised, and the carcass goes up in the woods near the fox den. Foxes consider them good eating.
rainbowsnbubbles 2 months ago
Im sorry but that's not right either. If he was trained to kill them quickly and did it under command and complete control of the owner, that would be one thing, doing it on his own is another. My point to the previous poster is no dog should be randomly killing off a lot of native wildlife like they admitted to allowing theirs to do. What the op in the video allowed their dog to do to this animal is not ok either. I grew up on a farm around farm dogs. Groundhogs got shot
chinbunny1 2 months ago
@chinbunny1 I don't disagree with you. But, the owners stepped outside, and patiently waited for the dog to make a move. No disapproval. Then dog also chose to let the groundhog attack first... Although absolutely scared for it's life, the dog didnt just kill the groundhog, because he wanted to.
foozbong 2 months ago
@foozbong The dog went after the groundhog first. that's why he ran circles around it for three minutes, looking for the opportunity to grab it. He didn't wait patiently for it to attack him. It was provoked into attacking him. The dog killed it because the stupid owners allowed it to. They could have intervened, and called him off.
chinbunny1 2 months ago
@rainbowsnbubbles Cont not attacked, not ran around for three minutes before the attack, and not terrorized, like this dog in the video does. The animals were taken out quickly. The farm dogs were not allowed to attack or kill anything. The key is giving the animal a quick, humane death, and being shook to death by a dog is not one. And there are better ways of removing them then letting a domestic pet attack them.
chinbunny1 2 months ago
@rainbowsnbubbles One more thing i have personally had my own animals(including livestock) attacked by pet dogs who's owners allowed them to kill and do whatever the hell they wanted.
chinbunny1 2 months ago
@stayAU Also I get tired of these fucking idiots who think certain breeds of dogs were bred to kill. So that means they can allow it to kill whatever the hell it wants. Its bullshit because I own a terrier and have talk to terrier owners, and thats not what they are bred for.
chinbunny1 2 months ago
This is nature...at its best. Animals all playing their part in the food chain. If this bothers you, then don't watch it.

JoeBuddable 2 months ago
@JoeBuddable No animals don't suffer when bitten and shaken to death by another animal. You are an idiot.
chinbunny1 2 months ago
I don't see anything wrong with this video.. You could tell the woodchuck was good and healthy, plus woodchucks are varmints, hell you can shoot those things year around with no bag limit in pennsylvania.. If you don't kill woodchucks they can do major crop damage, damage the foundation of your home, ruin cropping fields, they can be extremely destructive pests.. I'd understand if you were from the city and never saw anything like this, but you need to stop being pussies.
JoeBuddable 2 months ago
In my opinion this is a job well done by someones pet.. as far as I'm concerned this dog is well trained because it will kill pests. If you live in the country and your dog is outside a lot, I'd be really surprised if it didn't do things like this.. I grew up around hunting dogs (mainly redbones) and have done a lot coon hunting, bobcat hunting, bear hunting, coyote hunting.. If you can't handle this you can't handle the country life.. PERIOD!!
JoeBuddable 2 months ago
Hell if I was the owner of this dog, I would be pissed if it didn't kill that woodchuck.. You retards that think what you saw was cruel, how about you let a family of woodchucks make some burrows under your foundation.. We'll see who's the dumb fuck, the stupid redneck that killed the bastard or the city slicker who just cost their stupid asses thousands of dollars for the damage that woodchuck would do to your property..
JoeBuddable 2 months ago
@JoeBuddable Also there is a huge difference between a trained hunting dog who HUNTs and pet who is tossed in the backyard and allowed to attack and kill an animal. And if you think its ok to allow a dog to roam the property to kill whatever it wants, then you are an idiot. Where i live we shoot dogs who do that.
chinbunny1 2 months ago

chinbunny1 2 months ago
@chinbunny1 Oh!, I see. Maybe you should change your name to double standard because your complaining about the dog doing something in "his" back yard, but you just made a threat about what you would do to him if he came in "your" backyard. LOL make up your mind man, Are you against it or are you advocating it? Sounds like your confused.
stmichael702 2 months ago
@stmichael702 Oh non, im not confused. just speaking from experience from dealing with dogs just like this one, caught attacking animals in my own yard. It attacks something in my yard, i will not hesitate to protect what belongs to me(or lives in the yard), and it is legal where I live to kill such a dog. But, it aint the dogs fault, its the owners. the only way they learn is when their pet end sup hurt or dead.

chinbunny1 2 months ago
@chinbunny1 why would my dog be killed for killing a rat or a squirrel, she is well socialized around other dogs and people. Also people don't shoot dogs in my country, would yo say a cat killing birds, mice, rats etc. has an irresponsible owner? My dog is a terrier which was breed for hunting and killing rats, it's natural to them so stop being such a fucking pussy bitch.
redzer06 2 months ago
@redzer06 A cat killing a bird or a mouse =/= the same thing as a dog killing another animal. Dogs are capable of killing other animals larger then themselves. And you are responsible for your dogs actions and you should not allow it to kill the local wildlife. And terriers are NOT bred for killing. They are bred to hold and bay the animal, and flush it from under ground. Ratters are trained to do that job, not just allowed to do whatever the hell they want.
chinbunny1 2 months ago
@redzer06 Cont, and no it is not natural you irresponsible fuck.

chinbunny1 2 months ago
@chinbunny1 wow! will you just piss off! like i said earlier I LET my dog do whatever it wants because its whats in its nature. If my dog came in the house with a badger in its mouth i'd pat it on the back an congratulate it. I'm far from lazy when it comes to my dog, i train him, play with him take him for walks and whatnot, my dog isn't vicious to other dogs or humans and thats fine. but if a dumbass squirrel runs into my garden and my dog is there it's fucked...
KemicalSound 2 months ago
