@ugie1028 Did you beat Ruby, and Emerald? Those 2 always gave me the most trouble, and I couldn't beat them. Maybe I went at it wrong, and I had KOTR with the materia that allowed me to use it 4 times in a row.

@Allannon500 Yes I did. to defeat emerald... equip mime on all characters, equip W-summon on one character with KOTR. Remove any kind of useless materia you wont use because emeralds attack % is based on how much materia you have equipped. Use W-summon, and keep the charrs miming the same summon until em's dead. for ruby, take off W-summon and go into the battle with 2 people dead. revive and repeat this. Make sure KOTR is linked up with HP absorb to recover from the Ultima counter

@ugie1028 that is not the easiest tactics to defeat ruby weapon just equip w-summon, knights of the round combined with HP absorb equipped and equip hades and the mime materia. w-summon in the order of hades and then knights of the round cause hades puts stop on ruby then just mime it a second time then just wait for the stop to wear off and then mime again and repeat that same tactic till his dead

I have an enormous amount of nostalgia that comes along with this game. I got it at a young age, I think I was like 11 at the time it was released. I had never even heard of Final Fantasy before, just wanted it bc of the graphics on commercial. It was my first FF game, first rpg game and the first one with so much profanity lol. I still don't know of any game with more of that, not even GTA..I remember the first time I defeated Safer I went crazy but then you feel kinda sad bc it is over :*-(
