@roddy76to86 sorry Robby, this is as good as it gets for this recording of this concert. It was recorded on U-matic 3/4 inch videotape through a stereo line feed from the mixing board . The sound level was a little hot on some of the board feed to my taste, but the engineer was mixing for the room, not the video, and sometimes it was a perfect fit, sometimes not. At least it was not a cell phone camera from the back of an arena!
@alcmed "step one" is to help me re-contact with the lead female singer. I would love to interview her about her views about human rights and add that to a release of the full film.....but I lost track of her contact.
=O! ive got Paul Foad's Book with his signature in it, i met in in venice in a bus, when i bought my first guitar, and he gave me one if his pick's and the book: The Caged Guitarist...
i loved Harrahs and saw some awesome shows there. Debbie Harry with James Chance stands out. but so many. Harrahs was one of the first clubs for this new wave of music. then the snowball effect...and one could go to three or four clubs in one night and see great music in each! what a great time for music!!
Appalling quality. Isn't there a better copy somewhere out there ?

@VJnumber1
Quite !
Well it's better that this historic clip exists than it doesn't, despite the quality.

@roddy76to86 I work for the BBC archive and this is an extremely good quality TK from a Umatic tape. Sit down and breathe through your nostrils.

I've no idea what that means, but it still looks crap. I'm still grateful to the uploader for posting it though. History !

@roddy76to86 -well, everything is relative, and, just like beauty, crap is in the eye of the beholder.

It's Paul Foad, who now teaches jazz in Birmingham, as far as I know he hasn't been in any other bands and definately not the Weddo's!
