  • Ahh, The memories? Yes it was a lot of fun doing this show. The live element really added to the fact that, you never really knew what the hell was going to happen next.

Crazy Fact: The Poor Baby is now in college.

  • One great show was with the Rev. Bud Green. He was the head of the church of marijuana. He was blazed. Dr. Danielle said pot kills brain cells and you lose your memory. Later, 80's singer Josie Cotton came on. The Rev. Bud Green said he remembered her music, and told Dr. Danielle "see, my memory is fine"

  • Loved this this show. I believe it came on at midnight on channel 56. I even taped a few myself and still have them on VHS. It was live and the singer from fishbone swore on the air. Faxes were being sent in during the show and were falling from the ceiling constantly. I remember the "poor baby" (probaly not a baby anymore) being on the set with 10 porn chicks. Homemade commercials aired for nothing and were so bad they were funny.

One of my favorite shows, ever.

  • Any chance you have more Love Channel episodes?

  • @friendshipfaction Actually, I do. I used to produce it with the Poorman. They are all on VHS. I will have to transfer them over one day.

  • @gregmonte

I actually just talked to Poorman last night, any chance you can email me? I'd love to interview you more about a certain episode. My email is Distortphx at gmail, hope to hear from you, thanks

  • @gregmonte oh no. remeber joe dink? i still have nightmares of picking that guy up with jim

  • My buddies and I used to prank call this show all the time as it came on after we got done prank calling the original Love Line (right after Poorman got thrown off). My favorite fax that came in said, "Dr. Danielle makes me swell"

  • Yea it was good times. The whole show was like a prank. I was the voice from above.

  • hahaha, nice... whatever happened to Dr. Danielle? she was pretty cute (easier to look at than Dr. Phil!!)

  • If I am not mistaken, Dr. Danielle is now Dr. Danielle "Zucker," as she married famous director/writer/producer David Zucker. She actually met him as a result of being on the Poorman's radio show when they were on GrooveRadio 103.1 FM (now THAT was an AWESOME station!!!). The only thing that puzzles me is I saw a recent picture of Dr. Danielle with David Zucker at a movie premiere and she looks really different now (her hair is much lighter).

  • @gregmonte hahaha, that's awesome, Greg, I miss stuff like this

  • This show used to be on Network One. Are there any other Network One clips on here?
