I bought this a year ago and its really good and satisfying although i must say its too bright (it may be a good thing for games and movies) that you need to change the setting to Text for reading or surfing the web. but when you're watching a movie, change the setting to color Full and full bright. you'll be blown away! even with gaming. Also you have to calibrate the monitor to make it more deeper color and darker dark by installing the exe file from the disc given to you in the box.

i got this monitor like back in Janurary of last year and I LOVE it!!! I got my PC hooked up and my ATT U-Verse hooked up via HDMI and its just incredible!!!! I just wish it was VESA, but i can live wthout since its mainly my PC monitor. I do use it as my bedroom TV as well. LED is awesome. upgraded from my 22 LCD

never buy a monitor without an adjustable stand its soo annoying to tilt your head to the eye level of what samsung is comfortable for you

SAMSUNG BX2440X is 24" with an adjustable stand, its the same $300 price too, its spec are a little lower than the XL but your eyes wont notice the difference

I work with audio all day with small icons and texts, I have a samsung syncmaster of 17", a old one and I have eye strain easily. I turn down the bright and I have even a CRT protector on it, so Im worried about because I have very sensible eyes. Actually, there aren't any on the BestBuy website for Canada. They do have a 23" Samsung LED monitor for $329.99, but not the one in this video. You are talking about the PX2370, not the XL2370. Futureshop does carry the XL2370, cuz that is where I had to buy mine.

HDMI carries sound as well (like playing PS3 or watching TV from your HD tuner). Perhaps this monitor can take sound running through HDMI and output it to some speakers or something.

I replaced my SyncMaster 2693HM 25.5 with this one and after getting use to the smaller display I have to say I'm pleased. It's compact, lighter, runs cooler and looks great. The base is a little weak but it doesn't weigh anything so it's a non issue for me. As far as the display controls, yeah they're a bit of a pain but they do light up when you touch them so it's an improvement over previous models. All that plus a 2 ms response time = happy camper.

I test for the first time this screen with G I Joe HD Movie and the scene when the two nijas fight inside the reactor, its all about a LED monitor its worth paying for...

My settings Red 48 / Green 46 / Blue 29

Contrast 89 and Bright 100 in movies and 38 with Text, No Magic color

Gamma 3 or 1 if you think its too dark.

I tested with a Gray Test Patter and looks very precise, i hope you try it.
