hey ive got an rm85 03 model and i mixed too much oil with the fuel and now after i rode for like a few hours it wont start doz anyone no how to fix it? thanx

@IKIRIEIW you've probably fouled your spark plug, put a new one in and if you still have too much oil in your fuel, then just add a bit more fuel in to dilute it a little. Just to make sure it starts, find a big hill and roll start it rather than trying to kick it over.

Thanks man, yeah spend a bit extra and get the 2002. In 2001 they made the next generation RM with new plastics and frame and from then on they just did little facelifts to the bike every year until 2008 which was when it ended production.

Pretty sure the stock non-o-ring chain that came brand new on it doesn't have the masterlink. If it doesn't have a clip and was meant to, the chain would have disconnected itself already.

Mmm it's ok for it rub a little, but if it looks like the chainguide is holding that part of the chain up, then you might need to give it a bit more tension. The way i check for chain slack is to hold the bike upright, and push the bottom of the chain up against the swingerarm, it should JUST touch the swingerarm rubber slider thing.

Yeahh the head and taillights run off a ignition coil kit which is only capable of powering LED's. We need to have lights on it to be Recreational Registered, it's basically registration for you to ride in the bush and offroad. It can't be road registered because it doesn't have a compliance plate on it since it's a motocrosser.
