okay the wii sells consoles more mostly because 5 yr olds think itd be cool to play mario cart with a plastic steering wheel. the wii is mostly just hype. theres only a handful of good games for the wii where the controls work well. actually right now i can only think of 1 game i enjoyed for the wii and the legend of zelda: twilight princess

Sure the Wii has many titles directed towards kids, but if you were to compare that to the amount of games directed for kids on Xbox360, you would find it is hard to compare. The truth is that the reason that the Wii has sold so many units is because it appeals to a wide variety of demographics, the most important of which being non-gamers. The Wii is introducing people the gaming and serving to the hardcore veteran.
