Thank goodness that there are young people like you in America. After seeing and reading the comments that many people have posted, I was getting a little discouraged about the future of America and the world.
Positive humanist values allied to open secular rational liberal societies, like more plausibly held in the World's maturer progressive Democracies, seem by sound statistics significantly a very realistic way for societies to function well within and globally! Hence, crucial too for Humanity to credibly survive on through it's existing volatile technological adolescence well. Encouragingly such constructive values exist in varying degrees in near all the desired top one-third plus of countries,
Sorry! Should have finished it more in a 2nd post. "the more enlightened a society, the more free, secular and civilized." Rational secular societies emphasizing knowledge over fear, really can only petrify autocratic and dogmatic power manipulators and their cronies who must rely on the gun, the gullible and the ill-informed oppressed for their ill-gotten on-going self-indulgences and dictatorial controls.
Lucky you. I'm in New York, which is generally liberal but I'm in a very Christian, conservative suburb. My family and I are the only liberals around pretty much lol
Hello again, me from R&S. I think: church and state should be separate, as do some state religions, as they feel it compromises their values. Gay marriage i don't agree with because it demeans homosexuality, which is better than heterosexuality. Abortion - male so can't comment. Dubya doesn't eat kittens as he's got no sympathy with ethnic minority cuisine. Stem cell research good, evolution happens - anyone who thinks not has some kind of mental health problem.
The picture of Obama and picture of the peace symbol are highly contrasted. Obama does not believe the Afghan people deserve peace, he does not believe the Pakistani people deserve peace, he does not believe the Palestinian people deserve peace, and I won't be surprised if he ups our military presence in Central and South America as well (which he has mentioned).
He just does not believe that we should fight and kill our soldiers for peace that will probably never happen anyway. His first priority is American soldiers
Your welcome! And just out of curiosity, why hasn't anyone commented? I've heard a lot of my online pals say they've seen this (I found it because someone asked me to watch it) yet I can't see any other comments...
Really? Maybe they saw a video like it, it has been up only about 30 hours, and only has 100 views. I wish it were that popular! Did someone link to it on Yahoo! Answers by any chance?
Not very open minded, eh?

I love your video!
We both share similar ideas.
It's nice knowing I'm not the only liberal.
Sometimes I feel like that.

We do have a lot of Christians and conservatives, but there are plenty of liberals and atheists here.
