If wrestling was fake, you wouldn't have guys with jacked up knees who can barely walk or guys with screwed up necks who have to retire. If wrestling was fake, you wouldn't have so many wrestlers addicted to pain killers. Even with all the proper training and careful preparation, it will still take a toll on you as each day passes. Just look at Mick Foley who can hardly walk. Stone Cold and Edge had to retire because of how jacked up their necks are.

@GoldSkye1 wrestling is fake though. the moves are planned before the match, who wins and loses are planned before the match, the referees tells the wrestlers what moves to do next and also how much time they have left. you see its all fake!!!!!!. no wonder goldberg didnt follow the script. also who in the hell has been powerbombed off a 20ft ladder??? as i dont re call anyone doing that

If wrestling was fake, you wouldn't have guys with jacked up knees who can barely walk or guys with screwed up necks who have to retire. If wrestling was fake, you wouldn't have so many wrestlers addicted to pain killers. Even with all the proper training and careful preparation, it will still take a toll on you as each day passes. Just look at Mick Foley who can hardly walk. Stone Cold and Edge had to retire because of how jacked up their necks are.

@DeadmanInc336 wrestling is fake all the moves are planned before the match. if moves were done correctly then edge, austin wouldnt of got hurt and would still be wrestling today. but the moves were botched and they got hurt. all the wrestlers get addicted on the road by drinking to much and taking drugs as they dont have much else to do as they are not home enough to be with their families. im sure all the wrestlers have a few pains but thays part of the business

Ahhhhh. So you agree that wrestling is not fake. You agree that a much more accurate terminology for the industry is "scripted" or "staged" since you just basically acknowledged that people do get hurt and wear themselves down in the industry. Am I correct? Even with all the proper training on how to land, it's still going to take a toll on your body with time. All wrestlers have to get checked out by a doctor on a monthly basis just to be safe.

That way if something doesn't look right from the x-rays and MRIs, they can get to it and take care of it as soon as possible before it becomes a huge problem or before it becomes too late. Chris Benoit is a perfect example that pro-wrestling is not as fake as people think, His brain was so scarred and damaged from all the chair shots, headbutts, and moves to the head over the years that it looked like that of an Alzheimer's patient.

We're not talking about drugs like crack or alcohol, mate. We're talking about pain pills specifically. Wrestlers don't get addicted to pain pills just because "there isn't anything to do" as you put it. Pain pills are specifically prescribed and taken to deal with pain or any sort of discomfort. It's just that simple. Get into a wrestling ring and I assure you that you'll be on pain pills within a month.

@DeadmanInc336 actually wrestlers get addicted to drink, drugs look at eddie guerrero he had a history of drink/drugs and hes now dead!. all the wrestlers after shows go out and party and thats where they get addicted to drinking and taking drugs. wrestling is fake though the outcome of matches just proves that. if the wins/loses werent planned the matches would go on forever and ever. sure they must feel sore but thats their job and they know what they signed up for

@Takersbiggestfan We already know that it's scripted and predetermined. But, for the sake of the product, it's never presented as such on camera. Look at it this way. How would fans of The Walking Dead react if, during one of the episodes, a zombie stopped, looked at the camera, and said "You know this is all pretend, right?" That's the exact problem wrestling fans have with this type of storyline.
