  • fucking stupid cunt

  • chuck norris sleeps while listening to this song every night

  • @DaveTheSodaGuy0 Chuck Norris doesn't sleep.

  • Jack Wall based the soundtracks for Mass Effect 1 and 2 on much of the soundtrack from this movie. If you've played the games, you'll hear the similarities.

  • Man, I liked Leon...

  • @caviper1 Queer

  • @anvision1234 Borito?

  • Weren't Daft Punk at least slightly inspired by this track when composing their own end credits theme for "Tron: Legacy"?

  • @sivoxestcanta Not sure

  • We are like the droids in Blade runner - programmed to die at some point in the future, near or far......! Life becomes special only when we realize how temporary and fleeting it is for all of us! I believe to some degree. Who knows someday some person may read this one day when I have passed on! - and say' "who was he? but once a shining star now fading and then gone to who knows where"

  • TYC sports

  • You better get it up! OR ELSE IMMA HAVE TA KILL YA.

  • music to oil your rail pistol by.

  • Super!

    Ciber music!!!!!!

  • I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. .... Time to die.

  • listen PIERTOMAS DELL'ERBA

  • The movie was a bit confusing to watch at first because I didnt always understand what was happening.

When the movie was over though, I understood this is indeed a great and beautifully dark movie.

  • I just love those old anologue synths, brings back good memories........and bad when they went wrong!

  • I just can't explaine this movie... BLADE RUNNER I mean... I mean I can explain it, but I can't understand why it's so cut in my heart forever... something really wierd about this movie... It's like movie which described human life in best way... EVER

  • REMINDS ME OF MASS EFFECT

  • @agentsmith462 haha same here.

the music sounds very similar to mass effect.

  • @blacksword223 If your going to steal, you steal from the master

  • @agentsmith462 Mass Effect 2 definitely had a Vangelis-inspired soundtrack.

  • I want more life, FUCKER.

  • Holden: You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look down...

    Leon: What one?

    Holden: What?

    Leon: What desert? ...

  • cant you knuckel heads just listen to the great music? hahahah

  • so win

  • Religious comments removed as they dont form a decent nice debate, but instead induce bad feeling at a time when we sould be focusing on the beautiful music and being happy!

  • @herefordmsv is not yours a religious comment as you expresed the concept of karma affecting something ?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿¿??

  • @graysight Specifically I wasnt be religious, but I understand the historical meaning of Karma; I should have used the word "feeling" as that is ultimately what I meant. Comment Amended.

  • @herefordmsv :)

  • @herefordmsv

    being happy and optimistic

and embracing the inevitable end of life

I think death is the conclusion of an eventful time of life

& this journey is a promising end to successful conclusion

  • He said you Blade Runner. lmao

  • Hey! Idiwah! Misseur, adna tovisham angum beteck!' " He said you under arrest Mr. Decker." "Tell him I'm eating." " Lo fa, negosh ma, annie um maiyo, jevaja Blade Pagan."

  • great song!

  • great great great VANGELIS!!!!!!

  • i like this song!!!!! thanks!!!

  • Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?

  • @ there are no androids so the answer is no ?¿?¿? even if they dream the dream is real? is an image over an screen real even if it represent something unreal? ¿?¿?¿?¿?¿

  • @jmm1233 Good Book That!

  • @jmm1233 Yes they do.

  • @jmm1233 No, they dream of unicorns...

  • I didn't even know this was from Blade Runner when I heard it elsewhere and it immediately conjured images of cops in a gritty future.

The composer is a goddamn magician.

  • ... "I need ya, Deck. This is a bad one. The worst yet. I need the old blade runner. I need your magic"...

  • oh yeah...thats how it was.

  • "ITS TOO BAD SHE WONT LIVE!

    but after all, who does"

    or something like that

  • its too bad she wont live, but then again who does

    yerp.

    good movie man, good movie.

  • Vangelis Papathanasiou+Philip K Dick+Ridley Scott = Excellent combination.

  • don't forget harrison ford ;D

  • He´s a loose dude with a rude tude

  • In Argentina this song is famous because was used for the intro of Futbol de primera, it is a tv show about soccer of 1st division.

  • "wake up time to die" classic sci-fi movie ,amazing music just dont make films this good anymore

  • ...Philip K. Dick...

    Just great!

  • i listened to this like a million times along with other tracks without lyrics whilst composing essays at university.

    this is epic shit.

long live blade runner, GREATEST cyber punk movie EVER

    EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • This song is beautiful... The moment at the third minute is just mind blowing.

    Thanks for this.

  • agree...trying to make a pt 2 to this movie would just be a bad idea...now they can take the idea used in bladerunner and expand it into a shadow run movie instead...

  • unfortuanly hollywood has no brains, and is afraid to take a risk

  • NEVER you cant make a sequel to something like Blade Runner the director would have to be a genius who doesnt care about himself as much as making the move right and those are few and far between

  • hopefully never since any attempt at a sequel would fail horribly

  • There was a video game actually. I think though the movie really stands alone.

  • Great song!

  • Great movie too. They touch the soul.

  • incredible sounds!!!!

  • Ahh!

    I LOVE this movie!!!

Watched it 3 times one day...rofl. XD

  • sorry to say but i watched this film yesterday and i did not get it at all. But it does have that really nostalgic feeling. i like it.

  • JusticeHawk you have to watch it a few times.

  • I urge you to give it another go, I didn't appreciate it the first time I saw it either. This film is a true masterpiece (especially the Final Cut version)

  • i will. i also got the final cut version.

  • Let us know what you think the second time around! :o)

  • Brilliant movie and soundtrack!!

  • This is one of the greatest!

  • It reminds me of the Scrap Brain zone music from Sonic 1...

  • your right it does, how weird!

  • not weird. the theme for that stage is heavily inspired by blade runner. :)

  • Best. Movie. Ever.

  • This tune sounds like Sonic 1, scrap brain zone

  • It has mystery, happines and dramat inself.

    Beloved

  • loved it in the 80's...... still love

  • the best ever

  • One of the best '80's movies and brilliant soundtrack.

thank you very much indeed for posting.

    Great job!!

  • Wonderful soundtrack, one of the bests!!

  • do sheep dream of electric androids

  • "Do androids dream of Electric sheep??"

  • Yes, they do

  • Yes they will... someday...

  • i really hate the moment when this song ends ,it's really the GREATEST Soundtrack ever.

    thx for uploading 5*

  • this is my favorite theme n the film, too bad its only used during the end credits.

i wish they made better use of it in the actual film but then again i can't image what scenes would had been appropiate forthis music.

  • This really reminds me of Mass Effect.

  • This is incredibly coincidental. I was just playing Mass Effect and that reminded me of Blade Runner, so I came looking for music. I am almost certain that Blade Runner had a large influence on Mass Effect's music. I love it!

  • Holy shit YES! It so reminds me of it, OMG I thought is was alone, hell yeah

  • I dunno why, but this song reminds me of "Stand a Chance" from the Big-O Soundtrack (it might be the drums) and they really don't sound alike.

  • BEST SOUNDRTRUCK EVER...

  • LMFAO this reminds me of something...does sonic 1: scrap brain zone ring a bell?

  • great song!

    Cs.

  • Sonic 1: Scrap Brain Zone, anyone? I can see the resemblance now. Sonic's seems to have been inspired in this tune, indeed. Great song by Vangelis.

  • oh yeah, its like all sonic music was inspired from sumwhere eg Sonic 2 was supposedly composed my Michael Jackson. Cool!

  • sonic 3 actually

  • lol, sumtimes i get them mixed, dont know why but still most of the sonic music sounds like it came from movies, songs or tv programmes

  • One of my favourite themes... but maybe some images from the film would have been good? Anything other than the scrolling blurb

  • Its good to Know that anonimity still goes a long long way in a galaxy far far away Good effort Hereford MSV

  • BATTY'S Death anf the music by Vangelis is my favorite. Thanks

  • Strange person.

  • All those moments, lost like tears in rain.......

  • "It's too bad she won't live. But then again, who does?" and this song (well, almost) = my favorite movie ending ever.

  • I thought the part where he finds the origami unicorn, recalls that line and nods understandingly was far more moving when it meant Gaff was telling Deckard he'd been here, but let her live because he wanted them to make the most of their time together, rather than Deckard's nodding meaning he acknowledges he's a Replicant.

  • Good music. Terrible video.

  • great !

  • video mediocre, musica da sogno!!!!!!!

  • Who cares! Everytime I hear this music I think of the first time I saw bladerunner! And how cool, and cutting edge it was. Just so you know I saw it at the Kentucky Theater in 1999. Directors Cut. December 18th can't come soon enough. 5 disc set. Nice!!!

  • Still futuristic sounding. I also have this as the melody for my mobile phone when it rings.

  • Because 'tube' is an old-fashioned term for television. So 'LOL' yourself!

  • "Tube" like in "cathode ray tube" used in a TV set maybe Kevin. I would keep big words for more deserving occasions.

  • We did not name it! Please get off the warpath! And slang normally implies day-to-day language.

  • "Term" is not the same as a "word" for something, shit for brains.

  • You idiot!!! Know what you're on about before typing!!!

  • WTF?

first off i was only joking.

second i live in england so there for i can't drop out of high school

and learn not to over react.

also you must be a high school drop out if you use "you you" in a sentance.

  • *Generic Addition To Youtube Arguement*

  • Compair this to NoVY7nvcel0.

People there were saying this may have inspired it.

  • Flipping genius!

  • Kool soundtrack

  • love this tune anyway, its so trippy.

  • why didnt you put in some pictures of blade runner or somethin, other than that star wars intro..

  • Ok, ok... you, videomaker, based the ending the on scientifical fiction movies such as Star Wars, Star Trek... Smart boy!

  • Hey if it wasnt for the Greeks we would all be worshipping Mohammed by now.

  • And just what is wrong with that, if I may ask?

  • Plenty is wrong with that. Why waste life worshipping a few old bones in the desert and having to live a life of praying to false gods and things that dont exist and not being able to voice and opinion for fear of being stoned by a cult of brain dead sheep. And not being able to walk with your ultra sexy wife on a nice beach and admire her in her thong bikini. Or .....well I could go on. But you get the point. If you like to think for yourself.

  • Non comprendo.Avevo scritto un commento ma non lo vedo listato. Come può accadere ciò?

  • Scrap brain zone from sonic the hedgehog was homage to

    this

  • I agree with you, this reminds me of Scrap Brain Zone, even the background of Act 1 of Scrap Brain Zone is something out of Blade Runner!

  • yes, sonic, bringz back some memoryz !

  • Then delete this video, Vangelis is Greek.. :D

Sorry, but we are going to speak our language... No tengo la culpa de que seamos bilingües...

  • Tienes razon

  • comentaremos en el idioma que deseemos, o aprende español u otros idiomas... The english languaje is not only the one...

  • hablar inglés de mierda en mi vídeo o permanecer lejos

  • Això mateix, s'han d'aprendre idiomes!

  • English comments only please

  • A great theme

  • is it " do androids dream of electric sheep" ?

  • Yes....well that was original book title anyway.

  • Yeh, I heard it's a book title. Did he just use the name or did he call it that because the book was special or something?

  • Well the film storyline is loosely based on the science fiction book by phillip k dick called "do androids dream of electric sheep". However, the title of the film is actually from another science fiction book by Alan Nourse called "The Bladerunner" - Ridley Scott bought the rights to use the title Bladerunner, or more precisely Blade Runner (note the space).

  • ahhh, thanks :-)

  • Great film and theme!!!!

  • love the end theme

  • buen tema...

  • Great film
