hey my man, there is no age limit to learn DJing, if you got the taste for music and have good enough knowledge then you can even at the age of 30. but just by buying turntables or softwares will not make u a dj till you know the basics of music :-)

@matics19 The industry standards are technics 1200's with a pioneer mixer or rane, or something akin to that. but ever since they discontinued the technics the prices have been surging, usually about 6-700 for a set of tech's. i would recommend, for a tight pocketed beginner, the numark tt200's for the high torque and accurate pitch control. you can go 300 for a set, and then a denon mixer. those feature really nice crossfaders. along with serato = $700. u need 2g of ram on the comp too....
