Sure, for starters, Medicare reimbursement has been significantly slashed. This works against the indigent seeking care. My health care cost has significantly increased this year both in premiums and copays/deductibles as a direct result of the new Obama care. A big reason we have such high health care costs is because of frivolous and unwarranted lawsuits ( not that malpractice suits don't have their place). Yet there is no mention of tort reform. How exactly are we going to pay this absurd

In the words of Joe Wilson YOU LIE! LOL. Medicare ADVANTAGE (the private counterpart) was what was cut, not general Medicare. They also went after billing fraud. You are going to use reduction of fraud to stir up fear? Cost went up on average of 12 percent this year. What they won’t tell you is that this is the smallest increase in the last 5 years. Cost have been sky rocketing long before HCR went into effect. Some of the previsions of this bill are specifically what kept costs down to only 12%

If you actually did the research and not taken republican talking points at their baseless word, you would already know that “Tort Reform” would only account for 1% of current health care costs. The facts are facts and the facts don’t lie. Yes, malpractice reform would save the industry money, but only about 1%. To say baselessly that “a big reason HC Costs have gone up is SOLELY because of the lack of “tort reform” is asinine. Just because you say it, does not make it so my friend.

If you weren’t bogged down in republican talking points, you would be able to understand that not only is this bill PAID FOR in the next 10 years (unlike recent tax cuts, tax cuts of Bush Years and Medicare Part D), in the following 10 years after that, it is set to shave almost another TRILLION dollars off the national debt. Not only is the bill paid for, but it saves us a little money in the short term and A LOT of money in the long term. You can disregard the CBO, but they are the refs.

I also think it’s funny that your first unfounded complaint about the bill is that it cuts money from Medicare (just to scare seniors I assume) but then your last complaint is that the bill is not paid for. Well what is it? Did we cut money to pay for the bill or didn’t we? You can’t even be consistent in one paragraph. Why don’t you do a little fact checking before you go telling people that they don’t know whats in the bill. Don’t comment on stuff when you only know republican talking points
