lol buy some new strings lol. if you play lead guitar then buy thin strings if you play rythm them buy thick.

Slash uses 11's not exactly thin strings and Stevie Ray Vaughan used 13's sometimes even heavier and he was one of the greatest lead players ever, so i don't know where you get that lead players must use light strings from....

yes i do play guitar and currently im using 12's. But what you said was that to be able to play solos you need thin strings, i was only responding to you becouse that is not true you don't need thin strings to solo it's easliy done with thick strings if you have powerful hands...

dude that person doesnt know what there talking about! Slash is lead..obviously lol. And he uses really thick gage strings, he says it in interviews. I think he likes to get a thicker tone thats why, sounds good when he does those realy milky sounding solos!
